The word for today is - Faithful !

 

 

Because God is faithful , I can be sure , why ? He always keeps His promises (His word)! Let's look at 1Corinthians 1:9, God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus Christ the same yesterday,today and forever more.  It doesn't say "He might do this," or "He'll 'try hard' to be faithful to what He says." The Bible is clear. God will do this; He is faithful to do what He says.What Faith is not,  our way of doing things passed down through the generations. What faith is,  to have faith is to believe in something or someone, to fully trust, to be so confident that you base your actions on what you believe. To have faith is to be fully convinced of the truthfulness and reliability of that in which you believe.God is faithful  "He will keep you strong until the end . . " It is not dependent on you and I. Sure, we are to work hard. Yes, we are to develop spiritual disciplines. But our continuance in the faith is not dependent on us, it is guaranteed by the Lord Himself. Read Philippians 1,  Paul tells us that he who began a good work will bring it to completion. Thank you God for your word. Amen !
