The word for today is - Amen!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Amen!

The Spirit is saying, "Amen"! The underlying meaning of the word “Amen” is truth and verity, to express strong agreement. And what does it mean? When we say, “Amen” we are saying, "Yes before God, I agree with that, I believe that to be true, and it is so". 1 Corinthians 10:31 ,"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." When we say Amen, it should only be to the glory of God. It means that we believe all the things we have read in the Bible are true. Read ,Romans 16:27; and Jude 25 ,“What I have written is the truth!” ( This is God talking to us and for our good) Amen! In Isaiah 65:16 the Lord is called "the God of truth"; the original Hebrew meaning, "the God of Amen." This is Isaiah’s way of saying that the Lord is the One who remains eternally true, the One who can always be relied on. Why do we say it? Read St. John verses , 1:51; 3:3, 5, 11; 5:19, 24, 25; 6:26, 32, 47, 53; 8:34, 51, 58; 10:1, 7; 12:24; 13:16, 20, 21, 38; 14:12; 16:20, 23; and 21:18. These twenty-five "Amen, Amen" sayings contain some of the most important things said and claims made by Jesus. The only person who says "Amen" in the Gospels is Jesus himself. The Lord 's prayer ends with “A-men” ( And when you pray the same prayer that Jesus did, “Our Father who aren’t in heaven….” the Father responds, “Amen", it's done), Matthews 6:9-13. The word Amen is found in the last verses of the Bible Revelation 22:20-21, He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. A-men. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. A-men!Thank you God for your word. Amen!
