The Living Word of God - Having a Sound Mind !
Are you just reading the word __? That's the first step in learning God’s Word in our lives by reading it. The second step is applying God’s Word in our lives. The word tells us to apply God's Word daily. For it is written in Philippians 4:9,Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. That's the peace we can only get from God, the peace that which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. When
we start thinking that we’re at the mercy of our past and our
circumstances, we discount the power that dwells within us (The Holy
Spirit)! Fear is an enemy to God! “The fear of man brings a snare, but
whoever
trusts in the Lord shall be safe”, in Proverbs chapter 29. So many people
today do not know God because they have allowed the fear of man to
hinder them from seeking Him. It's in 2 Timothy 1:7-11, For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me
his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel
according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace,
which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ,
who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light
through the gospel:Where unto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. Can you understand, we must trust the Lord wholeheartedly with our heart, mind and soul. The Apostle Paul, had trusted his life, his soul, and eternal interests, to the Lord Jesus. Read 2 Timothy 1:12, For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not
ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is
able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Do you know God's prescription for a Sound Mind ?
The enemy wants you to think that if you ever opened the door to your
past, You wouldn’t be able to handle it. That's a lie! Satan is the
father of lies and will do whatever he can to keep us from walking by
faith and moving forward. You must declare out loud that you will not allow any outside
force to do your thinking. There are spiritual laws that
demons must obey. They can't stay when you have commanded them to leave, speak the Word of God. For it is written in Matthew 4:10-11, Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Your power and authority comes from the name of Jesus,and the Word of
God. You don’t know what will happen today, but God does. He is your
constant source of stability, trust Him ! You don't need to be tormented
in your mind any longer, trust the Word of God. Do you not know where
your help comes from? God is our refuge and strength for the believers !
Let us pray Psalm 27:1-5, A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though
war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to
behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the
secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a
rock. Children of God the time is now, recognize and reclaim your right,God has given us the power to endure anything. We're in a new season, the 50th year being a year of Jubilee or trumpet blast, let us pray for the nations, pray for one another, let us forgive one another, let us help one another and love one another. Thank you Lord for Your Living Word. Amen !
