The word for today is - Wept !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Wept !

Why would Jesus cry and what would make Jesus cry? Do you know? I believe that His children or His friends would make Him cry, think about that, it is the same thing for us. Sometimes we cry also. Now read John 11:32-36,Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! Now read that again, it says Jesus wept. Wow!  Get this,"Jesus wept" is the shortest verse in the Holy Bible, found in John 11:35. He was also aware of the thoughts of all the mourners around Him. Over and over in scripture, we are told that Jesus perceived the thoughts of those who were near Him read Luke 5:22; 6:8. He wept over the impact that death had on his friends and the people there. You have see this, even after He told them that He would bring him back to life they did not believe Him. All His friends had heard and seen things that Jesus had done in the past, but they still had doubted His power. How about you, do you doubted His power? This is why Jesus wept. They didn't believe His word. Now get this, Jesus conquered death through His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary. The resurrection and eternal life in heaven are promises for all who believe in Him.  Read John 11:25-26,Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? It says, the believers will never die. So, we walk by faith not by sight. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
