The word for today is - First !

 

It's somethings we must do first, like what? Well the first thing is that we must trust in God and His word. Let's look at this first in 1 John 4:8,He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Now let's look at the law of God first, the law of God is love for it is God's nature to be kind.The word tells us to seek the kingdom of God first. Let's look at Matthew 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Do you understand, then all these things shall be (given) to you.Then it tells us that He first loved us. Read 1 John 4:19,We love him, because he first loved us. There is no greater love then this !Then it tells us that people have left they first love. Who is your first love? Is it Jesus? Read Revelation 2:4, Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Do you not know that, Christ keeps an account of his servants work done for him, and their labour. Are you working for the Lord or for yourself ?  Now let's read Mark 12:28-30, And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is,  Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Do you understand that God is always first! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
