The word for today is - Build-Up !

 

Lets start with Ephesians 4:29,Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Paul gave a good guideline when he wrote that everything we say should build up the one or ones who is listening. The book of Proverbs sums up the impact encouraging words read Proverbs chapter 18, verses 20- 21, "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Your words have an impact on ours life.  Lets follow God's example, Be an encourager! Life is full of problems, and we need to deal with them, but God has giving us a way out. Look to Jesus, when we wake up in the morning, we should be asking God to help us to look for and focus on the positive side of life. The positive side is He woke us up this morning, and gave as brand new mercy for this day. So,lets read Romans 14:19, Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Choose to specialize in encouraging words. Read Proverbs 10:11, The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Speak life! Look at Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things Always, talk about the good things in life.
