The word for today is- Relationship!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Relationship!

Do you have a personal relationship with God? ______! Above all other goals and considerations, the Father desires to establish a connection with us, a relationship. Read Romans 8:14-15, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the  sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba,Father." There are going to be times when you are going to have to walk this thing all by yourself, seeking Him. You can’t use the reputation of your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, your husband, your wife, or even your pastor. You have to establish a relationship with Jesus Christ for yourself. Jesus says that what he would really like is to have you recognize his voice, open the door and invite him to come in. This relationship, is much more profound than any other possible affiliation. This type of relationship is also expressed by Christ in an earlier instance. After the last supper, one of the apostles asked him a question. His response was in John 14:22-23,Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with Him. Amen! Our Savior emphasized to his disciples that his relationship with them, and certainly with us as well, if indeed we are his disciples, was based primarily on relationship. Read John 15:14-16,Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants (slaves); for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father, I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Two thousand years ago God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to come to this earth and die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. The word says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God made a way for us to come back to Him. And, He is offering this salvation to all as a free gift. Christ makes it very clear and plain the fact that both he and the Father desire a very special type of relationship with true believers. All you have to do is believe and receive it. What a friend we have in Jesus, no matter what arises, His always there when you need Him, His always forgiving us,and His always stay in touch with us.Thank you God for your word. Amen !
