The word for today is - Arise!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Arise!

Our goal should be to walk daily with Jesus, to become like him in our actions and by the way we talk and live. He must increase as we decrease. He must become greater within us.His way of life and the will of our heavenly Father must be put first in our lives.Let us put off our garments of selfishness and be clothed in Christ, in his righteousness to have the mind of Jesus Christ filled with compassion and love for the saint (the believers) and the sinner is a like, to know the will of God for our lives and live daily in obedience to it. As the Bible says 1 Corinthians 2:16,For who hath known the mind of the Lord , that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ . Let's first look at Isaiah 60:1-5, Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. Those who are the elect of God, holy and beloved, ought to be lowly and compassionate towards others.  Read Matthew 11:29,Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.Worldly men burden themselves with fruitless cares for wealth and honour, Those who labour to establish their own righteousness also labour in vain.  When we come to God as a Father, we must remember that he is Lord of heaven and earth, which obliges us to come to him with reverence as to the sovereign Lord of all; yet with confidence, as one able to defend us from evil, and to supply us with all good. Christ invites all to come to him.  Let's read Romans 12:20-21,Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.Thank you God for your word. Amen !
