Tribute to African Americans this Month! It's February, the month that is dedicated as Black History Month, honoring the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history, including the civil rights movement and their artistic, cultural and political achievements.To honor someone is to show him or her the respect and how much we value them. God wants us to honor one another in this life with love and truth.This week we're giving honor to Ms.Rebecca Lee Crumpler, she was born February 8, 1831, in Delaware, she died March 9, 1895, in Hyde Park, Boston, MA. After working eight years as a nurse, Ms.Rebecca Lee Crumpler began medical school at the New England Female Medical College in 1860. This school was the first in the United States to train female doctors, Harvard wrote. She graduated in 1864 as the first Black woman to receive an M.D. in the U.S. At the time, only 300 of the 54,543 physicians in the U.S. were women, and none of them were Black. After opening a medical clinic in Boston, she met women and children who lived in poverty, often asking no payment for her services. For it is written in Proverbs 19:17,Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done. Amen ! She was a servant looking to help meet the needs of the poor or needy people. For it is written in Deuteronomy 15:7-8, If anyone is poor among your fellow Israelites in any of the towns of the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward them. Rather, be open handed and freely lend them whatever they need. This is a very powerful verse, Children of God. Can you imagine how those in the New Testament felt when God called Saul, the killer of Christians to salvation? Saul repented, turned from his wicked ways and became Paul one of the most dynamic leaders for Christ in his time. Who are we to judge whom God will use in such a time as this? I have a co-worker that had a vision for the kids in the neighborhood.The students that needed extra help in learning. The spirit of Yahweh gave him a vision of hope for the neighborhood's children to learn. So, He walked out by faith believing and trusting in the call for help. It was him and his true friend that made a sacrifice for the students from one area that everyone gave up on (The Hood). He would visit the homes and walk into the neighborhood looking for students. He also sat at the dinner table and ate with the families. This is a history month for all God's children, it's by the spirit that lives in you. He's a man that needs to be honored today Mr. Bogash. Understand this beloved children of God, honor is due to all God's elect to do His Will. Amen ! For it is written in 1 Corinthians 1:25-27, For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. I'm speaking the truth in love, I'm not here to offend anyone. Most of us know the verse; "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."So, this month ask yourself, what have you done to help someone along the way, so your living is not in vain? Abba Father thank you for "YOUR WORD." For it is written in James 5:7-8, Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. May the spirit of Yahweh keep us and strengthen us by "His Spirit." For it is written in Ephesians 3:16-21,I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. We pray for Israel, we pray for our families, we pray for one another, the sick, the needy and the oppressed,our country and we pray for those in authority in Washington DC, our churches, our teachers, our officers, our communities, the prison system, our local states and national leaders, the nation & nations, our front line workers and the body of Christ. Lord, I pray that we all have your wisdom in moving forward on the earth. Let us seek, "Your Will God" for the body of Christ. For it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen ! This is my prayer for 2021, not my will, but "Your Will be done Lord".
