Scriptures to Meditate on this weekend- Pray for the Nation and the Leadership !

Scriptures to Meditate on this weekend- Pray for the Nation and the Leadership ! Let us be true to God and ourselves, sometimes praying for our leaders can be hard, because we don't agree with the way they're leading us and people sometimes. It's okay to agree and disagree, but only in peace. We (believers) are the body of Christ and we're all Commanded to Pray for one another. For it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-4,I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. We are to live in balance; standing for what is truth and seeking unity for one another, whenever possible, standing firm in the faith of Jesus Christ. We're to show grace to all humans and hold all our leaders accountable for right and wrong. That's God's command for us all to pray for each other and to have forgiveness. For it is written in 1 Peter 3:9, Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. And yet we're called to pray for their wisdom and well-being at all times. In 1944, Franklin D. Roosevelt Delivers D-Day Prayer. In a national radio broadcast on June 6, 1944, as 160,000 Allied troops landed in Normandy in an attempt to liberate France, President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked America to join him in a prayer. Will the next Leadership call out for another Prayer Day for the Nation? I don't know, but I'm standing on the rock of my salvation calling out to the "True Believers of Christ'' stand up and make a sound in the earth- Abba Father we're crying out to you today for the people and the Nation/Nations. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen. All the people and the nations will one day bow down and turn back to God. For it is written in Psalm 22:27-28,All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations. People of God it's time to surrender and Trust Him (God) Wholeheartedly. Lord, I pray for our country and I pray for those in authority in Washington DC, our churches, our teachers, our officers, our communities, our local states and national leaders, our front line workers and the body of Christ. Lord, I pray that we all have your wisdom in moving forward on the earth. Let us seek, "Your Will God" for it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.Others can follow the word at :  http://1spiritualfood.blogspot.com/
