Scriptures to Meditate on this week - "Get Wisdom!"

Scriptures to Meditate on this week - "Get Wisdom!"  I woke up this morning hearing the Holy Spirit speak, knowing the differences between good and evil. So, we have to get an understanding of the two words. I looked up the meaning of good, to be desired or approved of. And evil means profoundly immoral and wicked. The two words good and evil are abstract concepts. These two concepts are often considered as the opposite of each other. And that's something we all need to understand. Evil means profoundly immoral and wicked while good means moral, pleasing and welcoming. This is the key difference between good and evil within people. ‘Good’ means a lack of self-centredness. It means the ability to empathize with other people, to feel compassion for them, and to put their needs before your own. ‘Evil’ is unable to empathize with others' needs. They are selfish, self-absorbed, and they value themselves before others. For it is written in Proverbs 6:16-19, There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Wow, we need to test the spirit and know if it's of God. We have to have spiritual discernment to know the true character of people. Let us not be deceived by anyone. For it is written in Ephesians 5:5-9, For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a person is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth). Our Heavenly Father's instructions are getting wisdom and understanding, " His Will and His Way." For it is written in Proverbs 4:5-15, Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown." Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. Are you listening to the sound of the "Holy Spirit?" Abba Father, we obey your word and we pray for our families and friends. We're praying for one another, the Nation and Nations. We're praying for Israel, the leaders and our enemies. We're praying for healing on the earth for the people. We're trusting you in everything. Amen !  Others can follow the word at :  http://1spiritualfood.blogspot.com/
