Scriptures to Meditate on this weekend- Faith or Fear! Ask yourself, are you living with faith in Christ Jesus or fear because of the worldly system? The word of god tells us to always watch, pray and be ready for the return of the Lord. For it is written in Matthew 24:40-46,Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left."Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. We have been given the mandate from God to share the "Good News" of (Truth) Jesus Christ . We're the servants of the Lord, we should know the importance of speaking and sharing the gospel. We may be experiencing different situations such as the pandemic or a financial crisis or a family member's death, but we still have hope in Christ Jesus' the Word. So, let us understand that we cannot walk by fear of what we see,think or feel by the worldly systems. Understand, God is still on the throne and He is watching us all. For it is written in Psalms 11:4-5,The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. Let us wait on the Lord for His timing, plan and purpose in everything. Abba Father thank you for "YOUR WORD." For it is written in James 5:7-8, Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. May the spirit of Yahweh keep us and strengthen us by "His Spirit." For it is written in Ephesians 3:16-21,I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. We pray for Israel, we pray for our families, we pray for one another, the sick, the needy and the oppressed,our country and we pray for those in authority in Washington DC, our churches, our teachers, our officers, our communities, the prison system, our local states and national leaders, the nation & nations, our front line workers and the body of Christ. Lord, I pray that we all have your wisdom in moving forward on the earth. Let us seek, "Your Will God" for the body of Christ. For it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen !
