The message for the beloved Children of God is - Water !
I was laying in my bed this morning, when I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me around 5 am- Water! I sat up and said Water and laid back down. Everyone of us thirst for water everyday right ? We all agree that we can not live without water right? So, let us look a little deeper, into the power of water.We talk about water and air and climate and wildlife and forests because we don’t see them just as natural resources, or necessities of life, or biological or meteorological phenomena, or commodities: We see those things as works of God, precious creations of a loving Father, meeting our needs right?. Water is mentioned 719 times in the Bible. The Bible begins with God and water and ends with God and water, and between the beginning and the end. In the beginning,the spirit of God, brooding over the face of the waters, before there was light, sun or moon, read Genesis 1:2, And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. In the end Jesus said,in Revelation 22:16-21 “It is I, Jesus, who sent my angel to you with this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let everyone who hears say, “Come.” And let everyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who wishes take the water of life as a gift. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book; if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.Understand this verse, the church is us the believers, listen, Jesus is giving us a warning no man can change the word of God. He is coming back very soon. The word of God is giving mankind a free gift, the gift of life.Having called the earth into being out of water, and created the sky in the midst of waters, and summoned living creatures to life out of water, God continues to bathe his creation with water as a sign of his care for us. We are all thirsty for water daily, but do you have a thirst for the living water? Do you thirst today? We know the story of Jesus talking to a woman at the well right? Jesus says, Come to Me, I will give to you the water of life. Read John 4:11-15,The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?Art thou greater than our father Jacob,which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself,and his children, and his cattle?Jesus answered and said unto her,Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your living water. Let us have a thirst for your truth and living water everyday.Let us come to the river of life and drink from you. Let the living water flow out of our hearts daily in Love and truth. Let us grow from the tree of life.Thank you for your word. Amen !
