Jesus said, do not believe every spirit, read 1 John 4:1,Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Some people claim to be under the influence of the Spirit of God, but they are not.We need evidence that he or she has come or sent by the will of God.The word says, that many false prophets are gone out into the world speaking a word. Every person or teacher, who professes to be qualified and sent by him is not.A true minister of the Gospel has the Spirit of God.So how can you test the spirit and know want spirit it is? This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God, every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. Read1 John 4:2-4,Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. The word says, watch out for wolves who come to you in sheep's clothing, speaking in different kinds of tongues, read Matthew 7:15, Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ask yourself why is their language not clear to you? It is because the words that they speak is not from God, their words are from their father the devil, read John 8:43-44, Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
