The word for today is - Happening !

 

If you read the word of God everything that is happening around us in this world, is in the word of God. The word says, that there will be terrible times,there will be conflict with nations, children disobedient to their parents, mankind will be lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God and some people will have a form of godliness, read 2 Timothy 3:1-5,This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. God never ever wanting anyone to perish, but he wanted everyone to come to repentance and turn back to Him. God is not slow concerning His word, read 2 Peter 3:9-10, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Jesus tells us to watch for the signs we must recognize them, for we do not know the hour or day for His return, but let us not be sleeping, read Mark 13:35-37,Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. The Old Testament scriptures collectively provide a comprehensive prophetic message,and the alignment of the nations in the last days. Read Zechariah 12:1-3, The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
