The word for today is - Persecuted

Good morning,
The word for today is - Persecuted !

The believers are persecuted daily, why? Because, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution, read 2 Timothy 3:10-13, But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, charity, patience,Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. The day that we follow after Jesus Christ and pick up the cross we will be persecuted. The bible is very clear about those who are persecuted for righteousness’ will be blessed, read Matthew 5:10-12,Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. So, let us take persecution with gladness. Understand we are his workmanship, they persecuted Jesus Christ first. The question for us today is are we greater then Jesus Christ __? Read Ephesians 2:10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The growing believers are warn to expect persecution. We are not to be surprised when persecution comes our way, we are to stand firm on the word of God. Read 1 Peter 4:11-13, If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. So let us rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
