Scriptures to Meditate on this week !

Scriptures to Meditate on this week ! The Election is Tuesday November 3,2020, and people are calling on the phone daily. I'm receiving text messages daily, more mail about the election daily, it's another decision we have to make soon. We need to pray and meditate on God's Word. Let us start with Godly decisions before we make any decisions at all. So, the bible tells us to pray first to God, and let the Holy Spirit direct us right? We are each faced with decisions every day, but things are not the same, we're facing the unknown everyday. Most decisions are easy to make when they involve matters of right and wrong. Even if doing right is not easy, we know that the proper decision is to do the right thing. The Bible offers many principles to aid the process of making decisions that honor God first by His Word. The following list is not exhaustive, but it does represent many teachings of Scripture. Let's begin with prayer to Our Heavenly Father. For it is written in 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” If we should pray in all situations, we should certainly pray in times of decision-making first !  Second, acknowledge God's ways. For it is written in Proverbs 3:6-7, In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. When we acknowledge Him we can trust that all things will work together for the good for His Children. For it is written in Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Now this is the key Trust Him, for it is written in Proverbs 3:5,Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
