God Lead Us Daily !

Scriptures to Meditate on Today ! In addition to being "made" holy, we are called to live Holy Lives. 1 Peter  teaches, "As he who called you is Holy, you also be holy in all your conduct." The previous verse adds, "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance" (v. 14). We are commanded to avoid the ways we practiced before becoming a believer and live according to God's ways. We can only do this by living by the power of God's Spirit, following the principles found in God's Word. 1 Peter 1:14-16, As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."  For it is written Mathew 16:24,teaches us that as Believers, the fact that we deny ourselves from many worldly desires and choose to follow Christ, that is obedience. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me". To be disobedient is to yield to self-will instead of surrendering to God and desiring His will in all things. Let us read that again, surrender to God's Will only! God expects obedience (Deuteronomy 11:26-28). To choose Christ is to choose obedience (John 14:15,21). To become disobedient is to sin or rebel against God (I Samuel 15:22,23).  For it is written John 10:27-28,My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.  For it is written Psalm 25:4-5, Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. My prayer is that God will lead us in this Psalm 25, to walk in it, to speak it, to live by it and never stray from it, so long as we live on earth. Amen !
