ALL SCRIPTURE

Scriptures to Meditate on Today ! Let's get understanding about ALL SCRIPTURE ! For it is written 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. As such, Because all Scripture is perfect, it is "profitable" for all areas of life. Paul lists four areas in this verse. First, Scripture is profitable for teaching. It is to be used to instruct people to know God better. Second, Scripture is profitable for reproof or rebuke, the idea of exposing or pointing out sin. Third, Scripture is useful for correction. Scripture both points out sin and offers a solution to it. Fourth, Scripture is profitable for training in righteousness. Though similar to teaching, training is more focused on practical application. From Scripture we learn what is truth, what is wrong, how to correct wrong, and how to apply truth. For it is written Matthew 28:18-20 , And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. For it is written Mark 1:1-4,The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: "I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way" -- "a voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.'"And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. For it is written Psalm 55:22,Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. For it is written Mark 1:15, "The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!" records the inspired summary of Jesus’ message as He began His ministry: “The time is being fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Repentance and faith go together because if you believe that Jesus is the Lord Who Saves (faith), you have a changed mind (repentance); and if you repent, it’s you trusting God's Word that Jesus is the Lord Who Saves. Amen ! Trusting in Him (God) wholeheartedly, with Faith and obeying His Will. God has made incredible promises to our obedience, it's the “if,” and “then,” the promises of the Bible will come to pass. If we obey what He (God) says, then He promises that He'll save us, watch over us, take care of us, and meet our needs always. Thank you Savior and Lord.
