The weekend Living Word of God - Instructions for His Disciples !
I was walking in the park on Tuesday talking to God. God revealed two trees to me, spiritually, one fruitful and the other one dying. Now get understanding first, a seed was planted. The fruit of a plant or tree is the substance produced by that plant or tree. Good or bad, Amen ! We must proclaim to the people, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. We must plant good seeds, preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ Only ! Jesus gave instructions for His Disciples. It's in Matthew 10:5-8,These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Let the people know that they must prepare for it without any delay. Do you not know the great commission giving to the disciples___ ? Understand, this is after His resurrection. Let's read Matthew 28:17-20, And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen! Now, ask yourself are you bearing any fruit___ ? You do know that fruit can be either good or bad ? Now, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. What tree are you eating from ? We should learn that we too should not be deceived, which is why checking things against Scripture is important. To be a disciple of Jesus is to be a fruit bearer. It's in John 15:8, Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. If you are a true disciple, you will continue to bear fruit. Why were we created? The answer is in John 15:16: “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain.” From this passage it is clear that as a result of knowing and loving God, we will then bear fruit, good fruit that will last. But what exactly is this fruit that Jesus desires in our lives? We find the answer in Galatians, which says that the fruit of the Spirit is love, which then demonstrates itself though such attributes as joy, peace, and long suffering. Bitterness, hatred, animosity toward others will be replaced by the love of God, shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. It's in Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Heavenly Father, I ask you to give me clarity of vision, clarity of my thoughts, clarity of my mind, clarity of knowing and hearing the truth by your spirit. Let me find inner contentment by putting my trust in you Lord. I will focus on the sovereignty of God daily. Thank you Lord for the Living Word . Amen !
