The Living Word of God - Thankfulness !
I give thanks to the Lord for all He has done daily. First scripture for today is Psalms 107:1,O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.We all should be thankful for our blessings everyday. We need to get a greater understanding of God's Word. Some people cannot give thanks when things are bad. Now, learn how to handle your emotions, we can also deal with life and whatever comes our way by speaking the word. Now, get this, the devil wants to use your emotions to move you away from having a good relationship with your Heavenly Father. He wants to tempt you through your feelings so you are moved away from God and his purpose for your life. Let us look at 1 Thessalonians 5:18, In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. My sister had surgery Monday, we had prayer. I told her that God, is in control not man. I prayed for the surgeons for God to touch they by God's Power. I prayed for her by his (God's) stripes we are healed. People of God let us learn to trust and hold God to His's Word. My sister is up walking around, I'm so grateful for what He has done. The word of God says, if you believe what you pray for it's done. My sister came into her newness asking for food. My sister isn't one that eat much of anything. The surgery has been done ( God's hand), she has a new mindset of life. I was watching her, seeing the spirit within, a new life has been planted. The gift of his (God) grace and the work of his Spirit (spiritual food) working for the good within. Children of God, do not put your confidence in yourselves, put all of it in Christ Jesus. This means, pray to Him, trust His Word and believe it's finish ( done) in Jesus Name ! Do you know God is the one who goes ahead of you? For it is written in Deuteronomy 31:8, And the LORD, he it is that does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed. Children of God, you must understand it's not your power or might, it's by His Spirit. God already knows what you are going through and He wants you to seek Him and rest on His promises. For it is written in Zechariah 4:6, Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.When you are truly listening to God and putting all of your confidence in Him you will make it through every trial and test stronger then when you went in. Let us learn to always give back to God, thank you Lord, praise Him. For it is written in Ephesians 5:20-21, Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. God is the source of our strength. Heavenly Father, for we proclaim your word forevermore. We trust you Lord to be our shield against the assaults of the enemy that is trying to mislead us, no fear. For we trust you Lord to be our peace, we walk with peace forevermore. For it is written in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !
