The weekend Living Word for the Beloved Children of God - Trust in the Name of the Lord !
When your seeking for answers, go to the word of God. In the book of Psalms there are 39 references to trust alone, referring to trusting in God and His Word. For in Psalm 20:7, Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Trust in God is a feature of many of the Psalms of David. Some people put all their trust in money, our government, family members, stock & bonds, other people's out look of this world and things in this world. For it is written in Psalm 146:2-3, While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. Our limited understanding can easily lead us astray. If we trust in the Lord, we cannot depend upon our own ability to understand everything God is doing. Trusting is believing in the promises of God in all circumstances, His word is truth. Now, this is God talking to us, His ways are higher than your ways, and God's thoughts are (divine) greater than your thoughts. For it is written in Isaiah 55:7-9, Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Heavenly Father, thank you for your word. Where would we be with out you? We thank you Lord for your one and Only Son Jesus Christ. For we trust in you Lord with all our heart. For it is written in Proverbs 3:5-8, Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
