The word of God tells us, we didn't choose Him, He chose us. In His word, read John 15:16,Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Understand,to be a believer is awesome, but Jesus sent His disciples out with a mission. You have been ordained by God for a purpose, you need to be fruitful doing His will. It's spiritual fruit , by His word. For it's in Luke 10:1-2,  After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Now, if you are going to do the will of God you must know His word. How do you get to know the word of God, you must study His word. Why, so we can rightly divide the word of truth. Rightly dividing occurs nowhere else in the New Testament, but in 2 Timothy. The apostle Paul wrote to the evangelist Timothy, For it is written in 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  Heavenly Father, help us learn to study your word daily, seeking your will. Let us learn to live in truth and love. For it's written in Ephesians 4:1-3, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Thank you Lord for your word of truth and love. Amen !
