The Living Word for the Beloved Children of God - Love Him Wholeheartedly!
Ask yourself, do you love the Lord with your whole heart and soul? We need to know the answer to this question, because it's one of the four things Jesus said we need to do in order to love God completely. It's in Deuteronomy 6:5, And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. It's a question that needs a answer from within. Do you love Him with your whole heart, soul and body? Now Jesus is talking to His disciples, giving us a Spiritual lesson. For it's in Luke 10:24-28, For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. Now, understand God is a spirit, we must worship him in spirit and in truth. God seeks true worshippers, and He identifies them as those who "worship Him in spirit and in truth". The purpose of our worship is to glorify, honor, praise, exalt, and please God, with our wholeheart. Our worship must show great reverence toward God. He is our creator and He holds our eternal destiny in His hands. We must strive to please Him daily. Heavenly Father, we honor your Holy Name in spirit and truth. Let us grow in the knowledge of truth. For in 2 Peter 3:17-18, Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !
