The weekend message for the beloved Children of God is - Storms ! 

 

We have to understand that some storms come to make us stronger in Christ Jesus. We must learn to trust in God through the storms of Life. So, one may be asking, the question, How? The bible tells us to pray, in the middle of a tough situation and to acknowledge god in all our ways. Read Romans 8:26-28,Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. God is the one who we can trust to bring us out on the other side.Understand that through the storms of life, God is with us, read Mark 4:35-41,And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? It is God's power who gives us strength to overcome the storms. Satan has no power over a child of God's. One of the tricks of Satan is to try and make us blame ourselves when things go wrong, or worse, this is not true. Always remember that God will use storms of life to bring order to your life, to bring about the circumstances that are best for you. If you're in the middle of a decision, wait on God, He will lead you to the right path. Would you rather have a Comforter who knows what you are going through because He has been there Himself, or one who cannot empathize with you? Don't go to people and ask them what to do, but seek God first and His righteousness. If you are going through any kind of storm in your life today, turn to Jesus. Let us pray,Heavenly Father, we trust you through the storms of life. We need your spiritual direction to overcome the tricks of the Devil. You said in your word,to be watchful, that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. No more lies, let us put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.So, that no one can lead you astray anymore. Let us forgive others their trespasses,and whoever have wronged us.Heavenly Father, we need your strengh to move forward.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
