The word for today is - Lie !

 

Lets start with Numbers 23:19, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? God is the only being who is incapable of lying. Everything that God said would happen has happened, just as He has said it would. Since God knows all things past, present, and future all things will workout for your good, its the word of God. God has never “gone back” on a promise or His word.  Paul, who said it so boldly in his letter to Titus that God cannot lie, read Titus 1:1-4, Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. Now get this, Jesus was always completely honest, even when telling a hard truth meant putting Himself in danger. Can you do that? The question is this ?are you honest with yourself, or are you living a lie?  We must be honest with ourselves, and with others. Humans often lie, why? Because, sometimes, people know the truth, but choose to relay false information to others, they are not comfortable with frankly telling people what they need to know the truth. Now lets read what Jesus said about liars. Read John 8:42-44, Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  Get understanding first, God is the Father of truth,the devil is the father of lies.So, who is your Father, is it the one true living God or the Devil ? Read Deuteronomy 32:3-4,Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.We should be grateful because we serve a God who will not go back on His word. God will fulfill everyone of His promises for those who serve Him and believe in Him ! We serve a powerful God ,God is the God of truth and a loving God, an awesome God that we serve!  If you need anything go to your Heavenly Father an ask Him for it. His word says in Isaiah 46:10-11,

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Thats powerful to me, I hold God to His word everyday in my prays and my daily walk, He can not lie. ( I always say, Father you said in your word......... and your word is truth)! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
