The word for today is - Devoted !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Devoted !

Yes, it is true God desires a person after His own heart. He is looking for people who will choose to be pure and wholly devoted to Him. Lets look at 2 Corinthians 12:9,And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. The Lord is telling us that His word is true, that it is powerful and He has giving this to us. Do you have a desire to know Him? The message of salvation is to all, but you must be devoted or submitted to God. Read Romans 10: 1-9,Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Wow, you must believe in your heart, that God raised Him ( Jesus)from the grave.  We have to be devoted to His word, His word is life. The Bible says David was a man after God’s own heart. Why did God call him this? It was because David chose to follow God with all of his heart. David deliberately put God first above everything else. You see, David devoted himself to God. The word of God tells us to seek the kingdom of God first. Read Matthew 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Understand this you must die to your flesh and live my the Spirit of the living God, read Galatians 2:20,I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. We are required, not only to seek the kingdom of God, but also "his righteousness." Now get this, your Heavenly Father will take care of you, if you seek Him first. Read Matthew 6:26, Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Devoted yourself to Jesus, He is your first love. Read John 12:25-26, He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. You see people have forgotten there first love. So, God said, I have this against you, that you have abandoned me, your not devoted to me. Read Revelation 2:4,Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!
