The Living Word for today - " Love" !
In John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." If you're a believer you need to understand that you're loved by God. His love for you is not based upon your performance, it’s based upon Jesus Christ on the cross. No matter what our situation maybe or the hard times we might be facing now, we can choose to focus on God's Word. Look at Psalm 56:3,When I am afraid, I put my trust in you (Lord). He's in control of everything, Nothing just happens ! More people are showing love for one another like never before. This love is unconditional that people are showing for each other, we're facing the unknown daily. God has spoken, in John 13:34-35,“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. For love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. In 1 John 3:1,See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it don't know him (God). God's Love don't have conditions, it's unconditional. To define unconditional love is to say that a person loves someone unselfishly, that he or she cares about the happiness of the other person and will do anything to help that person feel happiness without expecting anything in return. In other words, the definition of unconditional love is "love without conditions." Jesus Christ is the greatest example of Unconditional Love. We'll get through COVID-19 together with love. We live by faith, not by sight, we live by faith in Christ. In Galatians 2:20, I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Heavenly Father, let us be more like you. Let us show unconditional love for one another. Thank you Lord for giving us another day. Amen !
