The weekend message for the beloved Children of God - Humble Yourselves !
What are the require of the Lord for mankind to walk by? Read Micah 6:8-9, He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? The Lord's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it. As servants of Christ, we must be found trustworthy and faithful to the calling of God. Read 2 Timothy 2:13-16, If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. We must first study the word, so we can learn to speak the truth in love, by the spirit of God. Let's not walk around trusting in ourselves to be righteous and treating others bad. The word of God tells, His children to walk humbly before Him and others. The word of God tells us to pray for one another, and love one another daily. Read 1 Peter 5:6-7, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. The Lord is calling, Come to Me, all you who are troubled and worrying about the future. Jesus is calling you, Come to Me, I'll give you rest like no other, trust His Word. Heavenly Father, we come before thee seeking to find rest in you. For it is written in Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And we are seeking your spirit today, the spirit of Love and Truth, forevermore. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
