The message for the beloved Children of God - My Grace is Sufficient !
Understand the word grace it appears 155 times in the New Testament. Paul tells us in Romans 5:1-2, Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. We depend on the Holy Spirit of God to make known to us the meaning of His words. Read 2 Corinthians 12:9-11, And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. We are awakened from our spiritual sleep and our spiritual death by the blood of Jesus, that could only be called a work of grace, undeserved favor. We are redeemed, regenerated, adopted, justified, converted, and born again, by the blood of Jesus. When we think about the grace of God, let us look at the big view of grace. Grace simply means unmerited favor. That means that Paul had the favor of God with him and we do also. This is when Paul asked God three times to get the devil off of him. Like Paul, he wanted God to remove some of his problems from his life, but God refused. The nature of Paul's thorn in his flesh was debated, since Paul himself did not explain what the problem was. What is clear is that it was something that was brought about by Satan, under the permission of God, to control Paul's use of spiritual power. God did not take the problem away because of God's own plans for humanity. God told him that the Spirit of God would give him enough strength to live through the problems. We must learn to trust God's word and live for today. Heavenly Father, it is your grace that keeps us from falling down and dying. For it's, your grace Lord, that gives us the strength to keep moving forward. For it is written in 2 Corinthians 9:8-11, And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
