The message for the beloved children of God - Streams of living water!

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Streams of living water!

Jesus spoke of living waters in two vivid passages of scripture. He first spoke of it while conversing with the woman at the well in Samaria. Read John 4:13-15, Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Here Jesus says, the living water he provides is eternal life. Jesus spoke again of living waters. The Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water, in John 7:37-39, In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)Here the emphasis is on the living water becoming a source of life from within the one who drinks it. Living water is used throughout scripture to represent other things which give or promote life. But, as we shall see, living water means something completely different when we look ahead to the time of Christ’s return. God Himself is compared with a fountain of living waters. Read Jeremiah 2:13, For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. The Bible has a lot to say about "water" in it's natural state. In the natural we see water all around us, we drink it,and we wash in it. But with the living water from Jesus, we will be like a spring of water that won't run dry. Read Revelation 21:5-6,And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. We are told that those who endure and remain faithful until the end during the great tribulation will receive a very special privilege: They will serve God day and night before His throne, in His temple. We are told that their robes will be made white by being washed in the blood of the Lamb, meaning that they will be made righteous by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this living water, we are thirsty for you. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
