The word for today is - Faithful !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Faithful !

We must remember that the Bible wasn't written to us, but for us. Let's first look at God's faithfulness. God's faithfulness is something that will always prove true. The Bible tells us that, God is Faithful, True, and Unchanging. God is full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and truth. It's in the word, Exodus 34.6, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.. In Psalm 33:4,  For the word of the LORD is right and  all his works are done in truth. He is faithful in all he does. Jeremiah 10.10, But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God,
and an everlasting King.  He is the One ‘Who cannot lie".  In  Psalm 143:1 , Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications; in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. This prayer is asking the Father for something, listen to my cry for mercy, in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief. ( Help )! This is a awesome prayer. Amen !  Let's look at the story of the woman that had confidence that she would be healed if she could just touch Jesus' clothing. This was a  woman who had been suffering for twelve years. She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had and she was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse (no better). Read it; The woman who touched Jesus’ Garment ,Mark 5:21-34 . She had heard about Jesus, and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment, for she said, "If I may touch  but his clothes, I shall be whole (well)."Jesus turned , immediately, about in the crowd and said", "Who touched my clothes?" The woman came in fearing and trembling, she  came and fell down before him, and told him all (the-whole )truth. Jesus tells her thy (your) faith has made you whole (well). She was healed not because Jesus wanted to heal her,  but rather because she had faith in Him.   Where is your faith ? Is your faith in God or man ? The word tells us in Titus 3:5, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Let's look at  Ephesians 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God .  Do you see that it's a gift from your Father. Do you want it ? John 1:12, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Thank you God for your gift. Amen !
