The Living Word for the Beloved Children of God - Never give up, Pray !
Jesus once told a parable about a widow who did not give up !Then
Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always
pray and not give up. In Luke 18:1-8,And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? I
believe that an answer is many times closer than we think, but because
we want it to be our way, we do not see it. God knows an easier and
better way of answering our prayers than what we expect. We have to find
out if it is God’s will first and His timing. Many claim if someone who is sick is not
healed, it is God’s will. This isn't always true, God wants to use the sickness in order to
witness to other sick people sometimes. Let's look at the Lord’s prayer, we pray
“Let your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” In Heaven there is
no sickness so therefore it must be God’s will that His kingdom, which
includes healing, will come to us at the appointed time. Our aim should be to encourage faith,
instead of condemning it. Jesus never condemned, He pointed out
the disciples’ lack of faith, He also helped them strengthening their
own faith. Another
claim that many make is that it is God’s will for you to be sick. This is a wrong perception of God’s nature, we must believe and trust His Word. If that’s the case it becomes very difficult to believe
in God for healing. But if sickness is God’s will there is no hope for
getting better. By His stripes we are healed, in all areas of sickness, if we believe. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? The question to God in prayer is teach me Holy Spirit to do better with your temple. People have
grown up in a culture where the supernatural has been largely ignored or
denied, and where mankind has the last word. This clearly
affects our faith children of God. Heavenly Father, we walk by faith not by sight. Regardless of the doctor's report, whose report will we believe? The report of the Lord, children of God. It's in Isaiah 53:1,Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !
