The word for today is - Law !

The word "law"has a great variety of significations; it means,commonly, in the Bible. By His death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins.The Bible says:"But God shows his love for us, in that,while we were yet sinners,Christ died for us."Jesus gives new life by His Spirit, which sets people free and brings them into God’s kingdom.One of the Pharisees asked Jesus a question,“teacher,which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”But the Pharisees,when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees,gathered themselves together.One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him, read Matthew 22:34-40, But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
