The Living Word of God - Stand Firm on the Word !

Good morning Children of God,
The Living Word of God - Stand Firm on the Word !

Thoughts have great power, they are like seeds you plant in your mind or others. A word for thought today, let us keep our hearts and mind clear on Him ( Jesus), with praise. For it is written in Philippians 4:6-8,Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Heavenly Father we your people seek your face for truth and direction. Let us learn to be of one mind by your spirit, and ready to help each other daily. Let us learn to love one another in spirit and in truth. Heavenly Father for you have giving us the secret to the Kingdom of God (Your Word). For it is written in Mark 4:10-14,And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? The sower soweth the word.

The Living Word of God - Faith !

Good morning Children of God,
The Living Word of God - Faith !
Where is your faith ___? In the word faith appears numerous times in the book of Romans. Lets get some understanding first, faith is probably the most important thing in your walk with God, but how do you define it ? The Bible promises that, for those of us who truly love God, everything that happens in our lives will have the effect of molding us into Christ’s image, trust Him. Get this people of God,the Lord is concerned about what we go through, but I believe He is more concerned about how we respond to what we go through. That response is a matter of trust and faith in His (God) Word. He allows the trials, temptations, and pressures of life to come so that we have the opportunity to respond either by trusting our feelings and life experiences or by taking Him at His word. What is it? Faith is taking God at His Word, Amen !  Faith is defined in the first verse of the faith chapter of the Bible, Hebrews 11: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The Greek word for faith is #4102 in Strong’s Concordance, which means persuasion, conviction of religious truth, conviction of the truthfulness of God, or reliance on God. It comes from #3982, meaning to convince, to assent to evidence or authority, or to rely on by inward certainty. This verse does not define faith in terms of the five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. Faith is also the evidence or proof of what we cannot see or what we have not seen yet. Faith Come by Hearing the Word of God. Our own faith is not sufficient, for it is written in  Ephesians 2:8 states, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Faith is a gift of God..If we have faith, we know that God is able to work miracles in our lives, that He can protect us physically and heal us. He will provide for our needs daily. Children of God, He has spoken in Mark 11:21-24,And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. It's what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, God's Will for your life.Children of God, we walk by faith not by sight. For it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:6-,Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:(For we walk by faith, not by sight:). Heavenly Father we come boldly to the throne of grace seeking your face. Now let us pray together, Psalm 31:1-7, To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities. Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !

The Living Word of God - He Lives !

“Happy Resurrection Day,”today acknowledge what Jesus did for the believers, He rose from the dead! In doing so, those of us who believe in Him have eternal life.'He Lives within us!"“The resurrection of Jesus changes the face of death for all His people. Death is no longer a prison, but a passage into God’s presence.  Easter says, You can put truth in a grave, but it won’t stay there.” (Clarence W. Hall)
Some verses on the Resurrection," He Lives !"
1.)“According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3)
2.)“I am the resurrection and the life.  Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
3.)“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)

Good morning Children of God,

The Living Word of God - He Lives !

People of God, there is only one secure foundation it's in Christ Jesus !  A man of the Pharisees name Nicodemus came to Jesus asking a question? Get this he came at night, he was afraid, or ashamed to be seen with Christ. Wow!  Jesus welcome Nicodemus, this man was concern about his own soul and salvation. Understand , our first birth we are corrupt, sharpen in sin; therefore we must be made new creatures in Christ Jesus (spiritual)! The gospel's benefit is that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life. Without the new birth which is wrought by the Spirit, none shall be subjects of the kingdom of heaven. God's spoken word in John 3:1-15, There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up; That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus said, "‘The Son of Man must be lifted up."We have Chris tJesus looking at the Cross as being, not humiliation, but exaltation. ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up.’ And what does that mean? It means the same thing that He said when, near the end, He declared, ‘The hour is come that the Son of Man should be glorified.’ Amen ! By God's grace and providence run your race towards Him, by faith, hope, and prayer, to meet him daily. He ( Jesus) is the Resurrection and the Life. In every sense He (Jesus) is the Resurrection; the source, the substance, the first-fruits,everything that is ! Let me now remind you my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, of the Good News of the gospel, " He Lives."  For it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:1-5, Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve. Heavenly Father, we come boldly to the throne of grace. We can do nothing right without your spirit leading and guiding us on the right path. Forgive us for not acknowledging you first Lord in everything. Understand, the Good News of Jesus Christ, for it is written 1 Peter 1:3-5, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. We thank you for giving us another day to worship you in Spirit and Truth. For it is written in Proverbs 3:5-7,Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !

God's Promise and Warning
For it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15,If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.

The Living Word of God - God's Word !

Good morning Children of God,
The Living Word of God - God's Word !

God's spoken word in Deuteronomy 7:7-10, The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.Children of God, we must pray and study the word of God daily. God didn't choose you because of your wealth, the size of your house, your looks, whom your parents maybe, nor your knowledge of Him. Nothing that we say or do, in ourselves, will remedy what takes place in our lives. For Jesus has spoken in John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus Christ have been giving all power. For it is written in 1 Corinthians 8:5-7, For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.Whose report do you believe__?  People"be not wise in your own conceits." Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our (believers) faith. To the beloved children of God, be strong my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, the battle is the Lord's. God deals with the spiritual battles that rage around us daily. God is faithful and true to Himself, He cannot lie. Now get understanding  first people, "even the devil believes in God”. Read Romans 10:9-10, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. The word tells us judgment and vengeance is the Lord's. Why did He choose Abraham? The Scripture is clear that it was not because Abraham first decided to choose God. No, Abraham was a pagan idolater, living in a pagan nation, when God in sovereign grace revealed Himself to Abraham and called him, told him move to Canaan. There was nothing of merit in Abraham to make him the recipient of such grace. If grace is contingent on anything in us, including our choice of God, it is no longer grace. For it is written in Romans 11:5-6, Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Understand God has mercy on whomever He please. Study Romans this week, it's in Romans 9:17-18, For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Children of God you have the Holy Spirit and Power dwelling within you..awake run your race. I'm coming to a close, the Holy Spirit had me write this for someone___! You're a winner, you have the victory in Christ Jesus. Don't you let anyone still your joy and happiness. It does not matter what people think or believe about your walk with Christ Jesus. Be watchful, pray and stand firm in the faith, take up your positions. In all areas of your life, balance first..How ? Look to God, not to others....But seek First the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. It means seek, the higher spiritual life in its completeness for your journey. No one can love you like Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, we come boldly to the throne of grace. We can do nothing right without your spirit leading and guiding us on the right path. Forgive us for not acknowledging you first Lord in everything. Understand, God isn't please with lukewarm people. Amen !

The Living Word of God- Keeping Your Faith !

History MonthGeorge Washington Carver
African-American educator and agricultural researcher George Washington Carver (c. 1864-1943) grew up in Missouri with the white family that originally kept his mother as a slave. After earning his master’s degree in agriculture from Iowa State College in 1896, he headed the agricultural department at Booker T. Washington’s all-black Tuskegee Institute for nearly 20 years. Carver’s research and innovative educational programs were aimed at inducing farmers to replace expensive commodities, and he developed a variety of uses for crops such as cow peas, sweet potatoes and peanuts. Carver had abandoned both teaching and agricultural plot work by the late 1920s, though he continued to advise farmers and students.Carver was one of the best-known African-Americans of his era. Growing mainly from his research on peanuts, his rise to fame created myths and obscured much of the true nature of his work. His humble origins were part of his appeal to publicists who made him a national folk hero. He was born in the Missouri town of Diamond. His mother and older brother were the only slaves of Moses and Susan Carver, successful, small-scale farmers. His mother disappeared, presumed kidnapped by slave raiders, while George was an infant. He became both free and orphaned at about the same time.
The childless Carvers raised him and his brother as their own children. Being a sickly child, George was not required to do hard labor but helped around the house. Very early his intellect and knowledge of nature awed those around him, but he was not allowed to attend the neighborhood school because of his color. Thus at a young age he began a series of moves through the Midwest, seeking more education. He supported himself cooking, doing laundry, and homesteading before finally enrolling at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, in 1890. Learn by reading more, very powerful story, George Washington Carver.

 Good afternoon Children of God
The Living Word of God- Keeping Your Faith !

The question for you and I today, where is your faith? Do you trust God's Word?
God indicated to Sarah, who was long past the age of childbearing, that she would conceive a son. The Scripture states: “She considered Him faithful who had promised.” She took God at His word. Now understand, God is speaking, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”“The word of the Lord abides forever.”“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever". These verses is telling us that everything in life may change, but God’s Word remains constant. His truth never changes. Now Read James 1:6,But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. Also read James 2:14,What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? Without faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we are are nothing. Faith in God, although it seems easy, will take a lifetime of effort to keep. It is the true Faith and what every believer should aspire to have. Don't let your Faith waver when things in life don't go as you planned. We should work hard every day to remember that Jesus Christ is our Savior and God is our Father. We should always have faith in Him not ourselves. For it is written in Matthew 21:21,Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. You and I can either grow accustomed to listening to our feelings, thoughts, and circumstances, letting them control us, or we can be in the habit of taking God at His word despite our feelings and life experiences. Believe that His Word (God) is truer than our feeling,God wants you and me to be faithful men and women, so that we can have good success in all that we do .As we are faithful to exercise our “measure of faith” that has been given to each of us, our faith will grow.Heavenly Father, we come before thy in faith trusting Your Word. I pray  to be filled with your spirit and light everyday. Help me Lord to live by faith and not by sight. Help me to live my life by faith in you Lord. Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !

The Living Word of God-Choose !

History Month
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. died at 39 years old, Born: January 15, 1929, died: April 4, 1968 (assassination),Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia, United States: Best known as: The civil rights hero who said "I have a dream"
Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr. was an African-American clergyman who advocated social change through non-violent means. A powerful speaker and a man of great spiritual strength, he shaped the American civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama from 1954-59. There he led blacks in the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955-56, an action inspired by the arrest of Rosa Parks when she refused to give up her seat on a public bus. Racial segregation on city buses was ruled unconstitutional in 1956; the boycott ended in success, and King had become a national figure. King returned to his home town of Atlanta in 1959 and became co-pastor with his father of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, a position he held until his death. On the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation in 1963, King organized a march on Washington, D.C. that drew 200,000 people demanding equal rights for minorities.Martin Luther King won the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize, becoming at the time the youngest recipient ever. His writings included Stride Toward Freedom (1958, a history of the Montgomery bus boycott), Why We Can’t Wait (1963) and Where Do We Go From Here? Chaos or Community (1967). King was shot to death by James Earl Ray in 1968 while visiting Memphis, Tennessee.

Good morning Children of God
The Living Word of God-Choose !

Children of God, our everyday life in Christ is described as a race. We’re off and running in this marathon, and each sunrise presents new challenges as we hurry along. All the while, we know that God has provided the path we’re supposed to take. Today, choose your path foolishness or rightness? For it is written in 1 Corinthians 1:25-29, Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise,For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. God has giving wisdom to us, that by his word and Spirit, and from his fullness and treasures of wisdom and knowledge, we may receive all that will make us wise unto salvation, and fit for every service to which we are called for His glory. Don't be discouraged, lets choose to be like the wise man. Scripture says we are to "run with patience (endurance, persistence) the race set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith.Run your race with gladness, joy, peace and love. The prize awaiting us is the Savior of our souls, and He is watching and waiting for us at the finish line. He’s busy working on us as we run the race now, trust Him. Run the race that is set before you. But run it with the hope that God wants you to have in Christ. Heavenly Father we thank you everyday for your word of truth. We thank you for the things you do for us daily. Where would we be without you Lord. Thank you for always loving us. Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !

The Living Word of God - Learning Scriptures !

Happy History Month
We thank you Jesus!

Gospel Singer and Pastor Shirley Caesar

On a Sunday morning in Raleigh, a small woman with a big voice leads dozens of people praying and swaying in a service that is half-spoken, half-sung and goes on well into the afternoon. Pastor Shirley Caesar, the reigning Queen of Gospel, is preaching the Word. Mount Calvary Word of Faith Church, with a congregation of about 1,500 people, is in Raleigh, but it's Durham that holds the pastor's heart. "Durham is home," she says. "Not was, but is. Durham is my home. I was born here, went to school here, got in trouble here. Durham is home."And Durham is grateful: Pastor Caesar, winner of 11 Grammy Awards for her gospel music, will be honored for her life's work in service of the city at the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau's annual tribute luncheon on April 24. Caesar was born in 1938, when "the tobacco factories were blooming," she remembers. "As a child growing up, we still had dirt streets and potholes."She remembers being carried to church; church has been one constant in Caesar's life, and singing has been the other........ It is likely that Caesar will represent Durham for a long time yet. Her pride and work ethic are unmatched. Caesar's colleague and close friend Carolyn Sanders says, "She can be ever so tired. She has come into services from traveling from the West Coast to the East Coast on the redeye, and be dog tired. You put her in the pulpit and give her the microphone and it's like heaven and hell." "Something just wakes up in my spirit," Caesar says. "All you have to do is just put a mic in my hand and point the way. The Word motivates me, it really does. I said Lord, if you just put the Word in my mouth, I'll say it. I'll say it."
Good morning Children of God
The Living Word of God - Learning Scriptures !
The key to learning is asking questions right? The Scripture (God's Word) tells us those who seek will find Him. It's in Proverbs 8:17-18,I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. For it is also written in James 1:4-5,But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Ask yourself are you foolish or wise? The next question who is counseling you ? Godly Counseling is a way to help people. To help bring encouragement, comfort, and healing to your spirit. For it is written in Proverbs 1:5-7,A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The word of God says, faith without works is dead. Let us be doers of the word, and not just hearers only ! For it is written in Proverbs 3:13-19, Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. Jesus said,"Come Unto Me, all who labor & are heavy laden."This is a invitation to all, He says, "I am meek and lowly in heart." Read Matthew 11:28-29, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Can you hear Him calling your name___? The time is near, don't be wasting time tomorrow isn't promise to anyone. Lord,so teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom daily. Understand, each moment is precious, developing a relationship with God today will change your life. No matter what age you are, we could die anytime of the day or night. Ask yourself, are you ready___? For it's in Revelation 2:7, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. God doesn't want us to waste our lives away. He wants us to live everyday of our lives with a purpose for His glory. He wants you to find your purpose in life, forget your past, and face the present. Let us pray together Children of God. Heavenly Father, we come to the throne of grace crying out,"Holy,Holy is the Lamb of God." Let us learn to seek His face day and night. Let us learn to put first things first,GOD and HIS KINGDOM. For it is written in Matthew 6:33-34, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. The Great Commission has been spoking, And he (Jesus) said to them“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."Thank you Lord for your Living Word. Amen !

Scripture
to meditate on today!
Proverbs 1:28-33,Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
