The weekend message for the beloved Children of God - Fulfill His Word !

In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on History and God's love. Please keep reading the history it will give you a better understanding. You may turn your Reading History lesson on or off at any time by deleting the history. Thank you for reading the message.
As announced by NAVADMIN 016/14 released January 27, the Navy joins our nation in celebrating the vibrant history and culture of African-American and Black Sailors during African-American. Black History Month throughout the month of February. African-American Sailors have a legacy of honorable service that permeates our naval history through every major armed conflict since the Revolutionary War. During the Civil War, African-American Sailors fought on every kind of Union warship, accounting for 10 to 24 percent of each ship’s crew, and included eight Medal of Honor recipients. During World War II, the Golden Thirteen were an example of African-Americans breaking new ground in the Navy and in American society. In February 1944, 12 prior-enlisted black servicemen were commissioned as ensigns and a 13th was made a warrant officer. They were the first group of black servicemen to complete officer training in the Navy and led the way for future African-Americans. These 13 officers not only made a contribution to the Navy during World War II, but to society as well. By the end of the war, 64 African-Americans had become officers in the Navy.Edna Young was the first black woman to enlist in the regular Navy and later the first black woman to achieve the rank of chief petty officer. Young joined the Navy after the passage of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act July 7, 1948. In December 1996, Adm. J. Paul Reason became the first black naval officer to wear four stars and assumed command of the Atlantic Fleet, comprising nearly 200 warships, 1,400 aircraft, and 122,000 service men and women based at 18 major shore facilities.
The weekend message for the beloved Children of God - Fulfill His Word !
Read 1 Kings 8:19-21, Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name. And the Lord hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and have built an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel. And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the Lord , which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. Our God has foretold the future in the Bible and will fulfill His prophecies in it for His beloved children. Does He speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill__? He cannot lie, He will fulfill every promise. Read Numbers 23:19, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? He is able to perform, and is true and faithful; and therefore whatever He has spoken will come to past. He has promised to supply every need we have. The Bible says: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". That's in Phillipians 4:19. Now notice, God has obligated Himself only to the extent of our needs. That would include food, clothing, shelter, companionship, love, and salvation thru Jesus Christ. God has promised that all things work together for the good. Read Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. It may be difficult for us to see and understand how this is accomplished at times, but God has promised it, and He will deliver. Trust the word of God and His timing. Read James 1:11-12, For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Heavenly Father, let us learn to trust your word. Let us learn to endure to the end, so we can receive our crown of glory. Thank you Lord for loving us first, and giving us everything that we need. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message to the beloved Children of God - God is always on time !

The message to the beloved Children of God - God is always on time!
In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on Black History and God's love. Let us read the story about, James Earl Jones .
                                                   James Earl Jones
                                              Turned Fear Into Fame
Fear -- Feel It and Keep Moving
Many of us allow our fear to stop us in our tracks. All it takes is a less than encouraging word, a negative facial expression, or a less than positive opinion, and we give up before we even get started. We're afraid of:
• the word “no” because it means failure
• the word “yes” because it means responsibility
• the disapproving look because it means rejection
• the whispers and grins because they mean judgment, and
• the absence of support because it means abandonment
Let's look at these five catalysts to failure and how they can be overcome. His first day of school was a disaster. His stuttering made his classmates laugh at him. It was the final straw for a frightened little boy. He closed his mouth and simply quit talking… for eight years! James Earl was completely mute – with the exception of conversations he had with himself when he was all alone. He found solace in the written word – creating poetry to release the raging in his soul. As is often the case, one person who saw beyond his limitations released James Earl from his self-imposed prison. That one person was an English teacher who saw talent in the silent 13-year-old. She pushed him beyond his fear by forcing him into public speaking – insisting he recite a poem in front of the class every day. Understand this message, we are overcomers.
Read Habakkuk 2:1-3, I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. We must wait on God's appointed time. We can rely on His (God's) timing and depend on His word, He is always on time. Nothing just happens, God has a plan for your life, trust His timing and give thanks. He is never late! There is always a reason for everything God does. The Bible doesn’t say that everything that happens to us will be good. It says in everything give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you. What’s the will of God concerning you? That in everything we give thanks, that’s the will of God concerning you. Read I Thessalonians 5:18 says, In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. It says that in it, through it, and beyond it, God is in control and He will work it out for your good. Read Romans 8:28, "For we know that all things work together for good for them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. We are the beloved children of God, we are overcomers by the blood of the lamb. Heavenly Father, let us learn to trust your word. For you are always with us, your children. For it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message to the beloved Children of God - Celebrate Black History Month together !

Good morning, to the Beloved Children of God !
In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on Black History and God's love. We Celebrate the women and men that was called for a purpose!
The celebration came about when the former son of a slave and University of Chicago and Harvard-trained historian and author, Carter G. Woodson, sponsored a national Negro History week in 1926, choosing the second week of February to coincide with the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. The week, which became a month for Black History Month. In 1976, it has been on the February calendar ever since, inspiring schools, arts institutions and communities nationwide to organize local celebrations, establish history clubs and host performances, events and lectures. And we give thanks to Carter G. Woodson.
Nelson Mandela: Nelson Mandela is one of the world's most revered statesmen, who led the struggle to replace the apartheid regime of South Africa with a multi-racial democracy. Jailed for 27 years, he emerged to become the country's first black president and to play a leading role in the drive for peace in other spheres of conflict. Conducting his own defence in the Rivonia court room, Mr Mandela used the stand to convey his beliefs about democracy, freedom and equality. "I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities," he said."It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." In the winter of 1964 he was sentenced to life in prison. On the 11th February 1990, Nelson Mandela was release from Robben Island Prison after 27 years. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. His charisma, self-deprecating sense of humour and lack of bitterness over his harsh treatment, as well as his amazing life story, partly explain his extraordinary global appeal. Since stepping down as president in 1999, Mr Mandela has become South Africa's highest-profile ambassador, campaigning against HIV/Aids and helping to secure his country's right to host the 2010 football World Cup. Mr Mandela was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2001, he was also involved in peace negotiations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and other countries in Africa and elsewhere. With the passing of Nelson Mandela on December 5, 2013, the impact of his life and political work was recognized by not just the people of South Africa and the African continent but oppressed and struggling peoples throughout the world. People of African descent outside of Africa, particularly in the United States, cherished the legacy of Mandela and saw within him much that was reflective and inspirational to the African American people’s movement for genuine equality and self-determination.
W.E.B. Du Bois: W.E.B. Du Bois, known as arguably one of the most intelligent individuals to ever live, W.E.B. Du Bois was instrumental in bringing along the process of human rights for African-American's. In a time when the despotic and abundant prejudice and bigotry towards African-Americans was not only tolerated, it was with reason and law. Du Bois was the first African-American to earn a PH.D from Harvard University. He was also the founding member of what we know today to be the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).
Jane Bolin: Jane Bolin was the first black woman to become judge in the United States (1932). She was also the first black woman to earn a law degree from Yale, the first black woman to pass the New York State bar exam and the first to join the city's law department. Bolin worked to end segregation in child placement facilities and the assignment of probation officers based on race. She also helped create a racially integrated treatment center for delinquent boys.
Dr. Ralph Johnson Bunche: Dr. Ralph Johnson Bunche received the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize for his mediation efforts in Palestine during the 1940s, he was also the first African-American to receive the honor. He also received the Medal of Freedom from President John F. Kennedy. He was also directly involved in the building of the United Nations. Bunch was also a prominent advocate of the civil rights movement, he participated in the March on Washington, and was present during Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. He also attended the Selma to Montgomery march that led to the to the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
The message to the beloved Children of God - Celebrate Black History Month together !
Let us always take time to celebrate our diversity and freedom in which we live in the United States of America. And pray that the world at large can appreciate one another and live in peace and love with one another. Read 1 Corinthians 10:15-17, I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. Understand we are one in the body of Christ Jesus. There is one and only one body, one true spirit, one true Lord, one true faith, one true baptism, God is the Father of all, all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Read Ephesians 4:1-6,I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. If you cannot understand this message today, ask the Lord to give you some understanding. Read Philippians 2:1-2, If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Heavenly Father, help us to grow by your word. Holy Spirit, lead and guide us to seek for the Kingdom of God first. For it is written in Mark 11:24-25, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message to the beloved Children of God - Called for a purpose!

In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on Black History and God's love.

To mark the start of Black History Month, five black chemists have been honoured by the American Chemical Society. The society released a commemorative video looking back at the careers of five scientists who changed the world. They include Percy Julian, Mae Jemison, Patricia Bath, Betty Harris and George Washington Carver. Seek this information for yourself.

The message to the beloved Children of God - Called for a purpose!

I believe that we're all called into a ministry. What matters to God is the children of God knowing Him, trusting His word and His plan for our lives. He, who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus. What matters to God will be revealed in His word to us. Read Ephesians 4:11-15, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. Understand this, you are the Lord's service! Only God places the call upon your heart and life. The purpose of this message is to open your heart and thinking to the call, God has spoken to you in the past or may speak to you in the future, it's for a purpose. Those who are called must trust His plan. How do you know "for sure" that you are called to the ministry? The hard answer to this question is that you will know "for sure" only in your heart and spirit. Those that are called will have an hunger for the word of god. You will walk this path by faith, not by sight, trusting His word. We shall serve the Lord with gladness and thankfulness. Read Deuteronomy 28:47-48, Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. Heavenly Father, we thank you Lord for your grace and your mercy. As it is written in Psalm 100:1-5, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. We thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message to the beloved Children of God - Inspirational !

In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on Black History and God's love. Inspirational Quotes From Black American Leaders:
1. "Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise. I rise. I rise." - Maya Angelou
2. "We should emphasize not Negro history, but the Negro in history. What we need is not a history of selected races or nations, but the history of the world void of national bias, race hate, and religious prejudice." - Carter Woodson
3. "Do not call for black power or green power. Call for brain power." - Barbara Jordan
4. "Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated." - Coretta Scott King
5. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." - Martin Luther King, Jr.1.) I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word. - Martin Luther King, Jr.
The message to the beloved Children of God - Inspirational !
Let us look into the book of Jeremiah 1:8-10, Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. The word of God is Divine Inspiration for you and me to grow. God wants mankind to know about Him and His plan for our lives, it's in the bible. Read Deuteronomy 33:12, And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders. The Bible is the only written revelation of God to man. The Bible is composed of 66 books, by about 40 different writers of various backgrounds, living during a period of about 1,600 years ago,yet they present one message, the Word of God. In the beginning of beginnings before beginnings even began God was. Just the first three words, in the beginning puts us into a realm that is absolutely beyond comprehension. It is one of those inspirational statements that surpasses human thought. Before, the heavens and the earth were created the Word already existed. From all eternity the Word existed. The Word was in the beginning of beginnings. The Word was not created, It always was! And when God set out to create this world the Word was already there, and the Word, of course, refers to Christ. Found in John's gospel Chapter 1, beginning in verse 1-5, John writes:In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Heavenly Father we thank you for your love and your light. As a child of God, we are dearly loved and cherished by our Heavenly Father daily. We are a treasure to Him, and in Him we can rest peacefully and be secure. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God loves mankind more than we could love Him ! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Instructions for your life !

Good morning, To the beloved children of God,
In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on History and God's love. Did you know this first? We owe the celebration of Black History Month, and more importantly, the study of black history, to Dr. Carter G. Woodson. Born to parents who were former slaves, he spent his childhood working in the Kentucky coal mines and enrolled in high school at age twenty. He graduated within two years and later went on to earn a Ph.D. from Harvard. The scholar was disturbed to find in his studies that history books largely ignored the black American population-and when blacks did figure into the picture, it was generally in ways that reflected the inferior social position they were assigned at the time. Woodson, always one to act on his ambitions, decided to take on the challenge of writing black Americans into the nation's history. He established the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History (now called the Association for the Study of Afro-American Life and History) in 1915, and a year later founded the widely respected Journal of Negro History. In 1926, he launched Negro History Week as an initiative to bring national attention to the contributions of black people throughout American history.

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Instructions for your life !
Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes the available options we have for necessary resources are not always there. However the Bible provides very clear instructions for life that helps to keep us from experiencing unnecessary problems everyday. So, in whatever situation we find ourselves in, we must trust His (God's) Word. We are simply warned and instructed to "Watch and Pray,"during these perilous times daily. The Bible gives us many warning signs so we will know when we are getting close to the end.The bible warns us, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. The instructions for your life is to obey God's word and believe in Him. Read 2 Timothy4:1-4,I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. We must worship Him in spirit and truth. The only way God will accept our worship is to follow His directions in the Bible. We must let the Holy Spirit do His job! The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you, if you move aside, let Him in today! The Lord's pattern for our life is in the Word of God. Jesus said, Come just as you are ! The teaching of Jesus can lead you to a fulfilling spiritual life and give you hope for eternal life. Keep hold of His instructions; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life. Understand, God always keeps His Word and promises, everything will workout for your good, He has a divine plan for your life. Read Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. We need to meditate on the word day and night. Heavenly Father, speak to us Lord. We need a word from you Lord, without your instructions we would be lost. Thank you Lord for your love and your word. Amen !

The message to the beloved Children of God- Run your own race !

Good morning,
The message to the beloved Children of God- Run your own race !
We are all in a race, do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So, let us run with endurance the race that is set before us all. We have to learn to run this race with faith into the finish line.We must run our own race and quit trying to run someone else's. I told a friend run your race, we can not change people, all we can do is pray for them. God has giving us all a special race that only we can run. We all know that when your about to run for a race,we need to be trained for the race. And also know that your in the right race. Read 1 Cor 9:24-25, We need to know that we are running in the right race. We have to always go to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to give you strength to overcome your greatest obstacles, difficulties, or painful situations which you were not expecting. Trust Him, let Him lead and guide you. Read 1 Tim 4:7-10, Let God lead and guide you for your race. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love and your strength. Thank you Lord, for you will never leave us, nor forsake us. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
