The word for today is - It's Spiritual !

 

If you think attending church or listening to a sermon is all you need to grow into the man or woman of God, then you are wrong. Just going to church on Sunday is a good start,but we must grow Spiritually! Spiritual growth involves so much more, the first thing we must do is learn the truth, we need to gain the knowledge and understanding of the word of God. The word of God says, if anyone lacks wisdom, let him make his request to God, read James 1:5,If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him. This means, God gives generously and without reproach, He will not rebuke you. The word says, just come as you are, and ask Him for understanding, read John 6:37, All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For some people, it is very easy to trust in things that they can see, but God is a Spirit, read John 4:24,God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. God is without a body; He is not material or composed of parts; He is invisible, He is everywhere at the same time. For He is Eternal, He is in Heaven and on Earth at the same time. Do you not know that the Kingdom of God dwells within you? We have to be careful, Jesus has warned us, be careful read Matthew 16:6,Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. Jesus is talking to His disciples, be very careful of the teaching. Jesus is saying, I am not talking about bread, but he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Ask yourself, are you listening to the sound of the Holy Ghost that is within thy? Or are you like the Pharisees, they rejected Jesus and his teachings __? The Sadducees and Pharisees were in constant conflict with each other, not only over numerous details of ritual and the Law but most importantly over the content and extent of God's revelation to the Jewish people. The Pharisees and the Sadducees viewed God's revelation to mankind in very different ways. The word of God says, I AM the way and truth, read John 14:6,Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. If you need to know anything ask the Holy Spirit for instructions, stop wandering around in a lost world, the devil is prowls around after people, read 1 Peter 5:8-9,Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. The word of God says, you have not because you ask not, read John 15:7, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. If His word abide in you all things are possible to you. God can not lie, His word is truth. This wisdom and knowledge comes from God only, its Heavenly wisdom it is divine. It is Spiritual ! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Paul was warning the church at Corinth that “many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep" this means that they have died Spiritually and others never woke up Spiritually, read John 6:47-49,Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. Jesus said, I come in order for you to live, are you listening to me? Jesus said, you are Spiritually Dead! Examine yourself, are you reading the word of God everyday? Do you have a daily prayer life? Ask yourself do you need to grow spiritually__? Daily prayer and Bible reading are two of the foundations for spiritual growth. We wake up everyday looking for something to eat (food) daily, but do we look for spiritual food daily? If you don't know this, we do need Spiritual food daily! Some people may say, why do we need Spiritual food? The answer is this, Satan will destroy you, Jesus said, All who have come before me are thieves and robbers read John 10:8-10,All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Jesus said,The door way is open to you come in, read Romans 6:22-23,But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus is the Only way to eternal life, to our Heavenly Father ! We don't have to worry anymore, read John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Thank you Lord for your word. The word for the weekend is - Agreeing !

The word of God says, if any of you touch an agree, it will be done on earth, read Matthew 18:18-19,Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Let us get some understanding first, touching an agreeing has to do with the word of God, it much line up with His word. The word of God says, use your time wisely, read Ephesians 5:16-18,Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.One of the books in the Bible, which answers this question is the book of James. Maybe it’s not the book we enjoy the most hearing from, but it’s still a part of the Bible, and for a reason! Lets read James 1:5-8 ,starts his letter by saying, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. So, if any touch an agree it should be agreement by the word of God, you must know His word. You must read and hear the word of God in order to be transformed, so you will no longer do the things of the world, read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. We should be praying, Father not my will, but let your will Lord be done in our lives. Do you agree ____? Two people can not walk together unless they agree, read Amos 3:3,Can two walk together, except they be agreed? It is impossible, read Luke 16:13,No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.Ye cannot serve God and mammon.Thank you Lord for your word. Who is your source? Is it God or some other source? Read Jeremiah 2:12-14,Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord.For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled? You could choose to draw from God, stop drawing from other sources.Without God there is nothing that is,God is the source of our being. Is the Lord your rock ? Read Psalm 18:2,The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Do you trust Him with your whole heart? Read Psalm 28:7,The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him. Praise His Holy Name,we must express our gratitude for all that He has done in us, and for us. He is our fortress in the time of need, a place where we can be safe.Put your trust in the Lord, not man. Why? Because God is true to His word, man will lie,read Psalm 62:4-8,They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. The word for today is - Do !

 

Let us start with Jesus talking, do not be afraid of mankind they can only kill the body ,but not your soul. I am the One that can kill and destroy both soul and body,Matthew 10:28,And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Jesus told His disciples what to do and what not to do, read Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. This is a command, and He also said, be merciful do not judge others, because you will also be judge. James writes, “Who are you to judge your neighbour?” Read James 4:12,There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who are you that judge another ? What a awesome question? The word is telling us to take a look in the mirror, do you see what God sees? Jesus knows the human heart, and he is not taken in by the most hidden motivations, read  Luke 6:41-42, And why behold you the speck that is in your brother's eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eye? Either how can you say to your brother, Brother, let me pull out the speck that is in your eye, when you yourself behold not the beam that is in your own eye? you hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of your own eye, and then shall you see clearly to pull out the speck that is in your brother's eye. Do not condemn others, why? because  the same principles are for all, no excuse Jews or Gentiles.The word of God says obey me, if you love me ,read John 14:15,If you love me, keep my commandments. This is Jesus teaching, He says,, "All who love me will do what I say, read John 14:23,Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.There is now no condemnation for those who belong to Christ, read Romans 8:1,There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Thank you Lord for your word. When I was a little girl over fifty years ago,our parents, grand parents, Aunts and Uncles always told us to respect our parents and our elders, not some but all! The children in this twenty first century need to hear the Good News, so many children do not have respect for their elders. We have work to do, we must preach and teach the word of God everywhere, how can they hear the word without a preacher? Read Romans 10:13-15 ,For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! We are called by God to teach and preach the Good News, read Titus 3:1-3,Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. The word says,to Honor your Father and Mother, this is the first commandment with a promise, read Ephesians 6:1-4,Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee,and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Now let us understand if you dishonor your parents the word of God says, you will be cursed, read Deuteronomy 27:15-16,Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. The word is telling all children to respect your father and mother at all times, read 1 Peter 1:14-16,As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Let all the children that have been walking in your flesh, old or young turn around and start walking by the Spirit of God, and that Spirit is Love ! Read Proverbs 20:20,Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness. Read that again,it says anyone that talks against your parents your light will go out. Heavenly Father forgive anyone that has not obey your word by given honor to their parents, we do not have to always agree, but we must obey the word of God, read Psalm 40:7-8,Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.What's in your heart? The word of God says, whatever is in a man's heart so is He, read Proverbs 23:7,For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.We must get our hearts right with God, read 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Let us do our best to honor God's word, Jesus submitted Himself to both parents, His earthly parents and to our Heavenly Father, He said not my way, but let your will be done in me, read Matthew 26:39,And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Let us do our best to respect all people. Let us give honor where honor is do, to God be the Glory! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Ask yourself if there is a doorway in, would you go through it or would you just stand there? Think about that! We have been giving a free gift, how many people are walking around here on earth giving anything freely? God wants us to come and have fellowship with Him,and God has invited us to have fellowship with Him, read 1 Corinthians 1:9,God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. How Awesome is that? Jesus says, He is at your door knocking, will you let Him in? Read Revelation 3:20,Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Wow,do you hear the sound of God knocking at your heart? Well the word of God says, I AM the door its Spiritual Life, you can come in and out of my presents and live, read John 10:8-9,All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door:by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.There is a door right before us, one door is open which no one is able to shut.The door that has been open by God,read Revelation 3:8,I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. You should know that it is God who opens and closes doors in the believers life. As long as you think it is some human being or bad luck that does it you are sadly mistaken. Many times we keep on doing what we do all the time, year after year, but God certainly have better things in store for us. Since you are comfortable doing what you are now doing and good at it; you will never think about changing directions at all. God has a plan in mind, if you trust in Him, He is the one who opens and closes doors in your life,He is pointing us to a new direction in life.We may not understand everything that is going on, but god has a plan! We know God works everything out for our good ( the believers), read Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Let us look at Joseph, He was put in prison,he tried to make his release come in his own time. But God closed the door, he opened it after two years. This was because God was preparing Joseph for the task ahead. Then Joseph became the governor of the land. The door has been open to us, will you come in ? I speak life to you today, God is preparing us, I declare open doors in Jesus name, that no man can close! He has given us the assurance that He has kept an open door before us which no one can shut, this is the power of God! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
