The word for today is -Trust!

Good morning,
The word for today is  -Trust!

Im back, after the storm, the Lord is asking, did you trust me through it all? The Spirit from the Lord is asking? Did you trust me, before the storm? Did you trust me in the storm? And do you trust me after the storm? You have to get understanding first, God said you must trust Him in all His ways. Lets look at the story of Abraham,God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here am I.” He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son.Read the story Genesis chapter 22. It's easy to trust in things we can see. That's where we mess up. We want to trust in anything rather than the Lord. We'll trust in our own abilities, in our boss's judgment of us, in our money, our doctor, even in an airline pilot, and the chair your sitting in. But, when it comes to the Lord some people have a hard time with that. How do you trust in the Lord instead of the world or yourself? Now get this, God has made a way for you, the secret lives within you. Its the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God within you. Wow! It requires that you accept the truth that God knows what's best for you.The Holy Spirit knows you better than you know yourself, he'll give you exactly what you need to make this change. Now read this, Of course, as God pointed out to Job, you were not there when God created all things, yet if you believe in Him and trust Him you also know and understad that the world was created by God, who is invisible. Of course, we cannot scientifically prove that God is there, and that He created the world. Yet, we can see the results of His creation, and from the things we observe we can deduce some of the ways in which He created it all. Yet, without faith we are unable to understand how the things we see (those things that can be observed and measured through the physical data we have available) does not come from a source that can also be observed and measured, but rather from God who cannot be seen. So, then, faith is whatever enables us to understand that the universe was created by the word of God, you see that same word by which He gave us His promises. This is the key read Matthew 19:26,But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. This is what Job said in Job 13:15,Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Weather Alert !!!!

Hello, my brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, I will check back in after the storm pass over.Weather Alert for the next three days.So what happens when we go through these trials? We do what Job did, we worship God, praise his name, and trust Him. God says that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without God not noticing. Read Matthew 10:29, Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. So, we have nothing to worry about. God is our guide, and he is always with us. There is no reason for us to fear anything. Read Romans 8:31-34, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. God, commands us to give thanks in every circumstance. Understand this, it is an act of faith. When things are tough it takes faith to thank God for our circumstances. We must know that God has a plan we do not see yet. We must understand that His wisdom is beyond our own. I pray that the Spirit of our Lord and Savior be with you all.

The word for today is - Together !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Together !

What would Jesus do? He would always go to the Father and pray.Read, Mark 1:35, And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.Lets read 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Did you get that, He says if you humble yourself and pray and seek Him, then something will take place. Also read,Matthew 16:19; 18:18,I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. As we look at these words about binding and loosing, we can see that though we do not understand all about them, nevertheless it is apparent that prayer is authority: an authority which operates in mystery. It is the link to that invisible world which is the control center of all human life. We stand on the frontier between two worlds when we pray. Therefore, as James  5:16,says,Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Now not only is it true that prayer is an authority that works in mystery, but it is also an authority which is expressed in unity. Get this,God wants us to pray together with other believers and to pray for others. Now lets look at Matthew 18:19-20, Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.  God also wants us to pray alone and in secret, read Matthew 6:6,But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The words for today is - Well done !

Good morning,
The words for today is - Well done !

When you stand before our Lord and Savior, will you hear from Him, Well done my good and faithful servant?   Read Matthew chapter 25:19-21,After a long time the lord of those servants cometh , and reckoneth with them.  And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying , Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability. Then they went on there journey. The word says get understanding, you see the master divided the money among his servants according to their abilities. No one received more or less than he could handle. If he failed in his assignment, his excuse could not be that he was overwhelmed. Failure would indicate only laziness or hatred for the master. The bags of gold represent the resources God has given us. God has given us time, talents and other gifts to do the work He has set out for us to do. These are given according to the abilities that God has also given us. Nothing is of ourselves, we only use the things God has given us. We are also expected to increase what He has given us before He returns. The issue is not how much you have, but it is how well you use what you have. Are you using your gifts to help others and further the Kingdom of God?  How well you used the gifts that He gave you under His direction and through His power, that is being a good servant. You are merely a vessel that God works through. We should carefully note the outcome of faithful service, and of unfaithful service. Faithful service led to increased responsibilities in the kingdom of heaven, and eternal joy in the presence of the Master, Jesus Christ. Now get this, one person is no better or more important than the other, though one may have greater natural ability. God clearly shows that the greater the capacity, the greater the responsibility. But we also find that though there is an equality in opportunity, there are differences in talent. With God's gifts it is the same, it is not how much talent one has, but how one uses it that is important to God. It is not how many gifts that God gives to a person, it is what one does with them. Unfaithful service led to condemnation, the removal of one’s stewardship, and an eternity of weeping and gnashing of teeth in outer darkness, away from the presence of our Lord. Wow, that is something to think about ! We must always appreciate all of Christ's gifts. "For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have." It is better to have a low position in God's service with faithfulness than a high position with unfaithfulness.Thank you Lord for you word. Amen !

The word for today is - Signs !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Signs !

When Jesus' disciples asked about the end of the age ,He responded by listing several warning signs. The first would be massive religious deception, including religious teachers who, while claiming to represent Him, would not follow His teachings, but would deceive many through a counterfeit Christianity. Some people are asking the question, what was that yesterday? That was the power of God, showing us that He can shake up the east coast anytime. People from many walks of life have expressed concern about the possibility of the end of the world as mankind knows it. But God has spoken in His word. The best way to find out what the "signs of the end times" are, is to read the Bible. Don't try to find hidden meanings or interpretations.Read Matthew chapter 24, Christ is answering the disciples the same question and says that there will be "wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in divers places...famines, pestilence...false prophets...people will betray one another...and the gospel will be preached around the world." Did you get that? The bible tells us everything we need to know about signs of  time,"Wars and rumors of war",it also goes on to say that "kingdom will rise against kingdom and nation against nation.Wow! So, what is on your mind today? Do you need answers? All that you need is understanding, the understanding is the word from God. Although, we do not know the time, one thing we know for sure is that the Bible prophesies the end of time. Now get this,in the Old Testament that dose foretell the coming age of the Messiah. But our present time, the time of human rule on earth under the deceptive sway of Satan. But, we are of God,read 1 John 5:19,And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. It is described by the apostle Paul as "this present evil age" but for the believers, read Galatians 1:4,Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:  Now get this, scripture proclaims that the present age, the civilization and societies we know today will terminate in a cascade of unimaginable destruction and violence that will climax at the return of Christ. Paul and the other apostles understood that, at the end of this age, man's corrupt civilization will be swept away and a new era will dawn at the return of Christ. Peter described this change as one in which "times of refreshing" will come from God the Father through Jesus, who will return from heaven when "the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets" Read Acts 3:19-21, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Jesus teach and preached to us. Now read 2 Corinthians 2:14,Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. You have the Holy Spirit with you. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Vision !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Vision !

Do you have a vision for others. I'm talking about Souls! "Where there is no vision, the people perish." The word "vision" used here has to do with the Word of God. Where there is no Word of God, where there is no message of life, the people perish. Read Proverbs 29:18, "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. " Now in Acts 2:17 God speaks of the kind of vision that I have on my heart, the vision that I could wish every man and every woman and every boy and girl who is saved and who knows the Lord Jesus Christ could have. In Acts 2:17 read, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams." Now that is the kind of vision that I am talking about this morning. God said the work of the Spirit shall be that "your young men shall see visions." Paul spoke of visions. Paul said in Acts 26:19, "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision." It is the "heavenly vision," seeing things God wants us to see, that I am tremendously interested in. "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision." How many believers today do you hear talking about missionary work? How many believers today do you hear talking about visitation work? How many believers today do you hear talking about revival? How many believers do you hear today in the average church praising the Lord for souls that are being saved? The lack of all this is an indication that we need a vision of lost souls. Read Acts chapter 16, a vision appeared to Paul in the night. God gave that vision to Paul. Acts 16 is one of the most dramatic chapters in the Bible. Things happened, people were saved. Families were baptized. Cities were stirred. Earthquakes happened. Prayers were answered. Jails were destroyed. And the work of God went on. This is the answer for the body of Christ, it's the message for the people on earth. Chapter 16 of the book of Acts is a great chapter, read it.  Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Search !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Search !

Do you hear the Spirit calling you?  Will your heart and spirit say yes, to the call? You have to get this, God search the heart of every mankind. But, He is so awesome that He tells us, I know the thoughts that I have toward you. Read Jeremiah 29:11-13, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. God will not turn His back on those who diligently seek after Him and His will for their lives. Are you seaching for God and His will for your life with your whole heart? Put on the garment of praise. Praise God continually for all of the wonderful things that He has done for you thus far and for all of the things that He is doing in your life right now and for all of the wonderful things that He has planned for you and is going to do in the future. Ask the Lord to give you wisdom and teach you the things that you need to know. Read James 1:5 says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. If you have pain from someone or something, read Revelation 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. He search the heart!  Now lets read  Psalm 55:22, Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Seek God with your whole heart, as you do, you will become more aware of what His special plan for your life is. Then , you will learn to walk in that plan for your life. There is no need of you going through life lost, hurt, or confused any longer. The word tells us that, God knows all things,God knows what is in our heart and thoughts. Lets read what the Lord said to Samuel, read Samuel 16:7, But the Lord said unto Samuel, look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. You have to get understanding, actions done with bad motives are despised by God read Proverbs 11:20,They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.  Lets look at the other side actions done with good motives are pleasing to God read Proverbs 16:2, All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. Also,God tests us to display what the intent of our heart is read Proverbs 17:3, The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord trieth the hearts. God has giving us an command, read Matthew 22:37 – 40, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Loving God with your whole heart is the key to everything in life; because your relationship with God affects everything and everyone in your life.  Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
