Now when He (Jesus) was asked by the Pharisees, when will the kingdom of God would come? The Gospel of Luke tells us,Luke 17:20-21,And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. So, lets get some understanding, what ever is in you, will come out of you, If it is Spiritual or of the world. The Spirit of life or death is within us all. Jesus told this same group of Pharisees that rejected him, read John 8:44,Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.Who is your Father? Is it Our Heavenly Father or the devil? Do you not know that your body don't belong to you? Read 1 Corinthians 3:15-18,If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.We have to look to the cross, Jesus' resurrection proves that there is life after death. This earthly body is not the end, there is much more awaits us. None of us knows the end, but we have a promise from God's word that He has prepare a place for us with Him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Let us get some understanding of what took place,some men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees they came looking for Jesus, when He first spoke,“Who is it you want?”they did not hear Him, ( I AM HE) read  John 18:1-15,When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. Understand this He did it for us! As you reflect on the crucifixion this weekend bow down and give Him thanks! As we draw nearer to the One who layed down for us,He died for our sins,He endured so much for us.The geatest Love that anyone can have for another! Thank you Lord for your Love for Us! The word for today is - Blood !

 

God loves us so much that, he made a way for us to be saved and to know him. He sent us, His Only Son,  Jesus Christ. The Lord came here as a man in order to pay for our sins by His blood. The blood of Jesus is the atonement for our sins,He did it for us ( the believers)! Read Mark 14:23-25, And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God. God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to take away the sins of the world once and for all. He is the greatest sacrifice that came to earth in the fullness of time. The blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse men from both the guilt and power of sin and it purges us all the way down to our very consciences. The blood of Jesus is the blood of the everlasting covenant. The blood it saves us for eternity, it delivers us from sin, it purges our consciences, it gives us power. Power to overcome anything,read Leviticus 17:10-11,And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Israel continually offered the blood of sacrificed beasts, but the blood of beasts could not take away sins. Now read,Hebrews 10:3-6, But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure,that is why they had to keep sacrificing them. But, with Jesus Christ it take one time, and it was done. The price has been payed, read Hebrews 10:10-12, By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God. The blood justifies us before a holy God,the blood redeems us,and the blood brought us back into our relationship with God. Lets get some understanding of the precious blood of Christ and the power of the blood.There was a price against us that we could not pay, but the blood of Jesus redeemed us. Read 1 Peter 1:18-21,Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. The word for today is - Worship !

 

The word of God says,worship no other god's! The word of God says, you should not bow down to another, read Exodus 20:5-6,Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. The command of God is to seek Him first, read Matthew 6:33,But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The Spirit of God is calling, Come to me my words are life and truth, it is free, read Revelation 22:17-19,And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. We can only worship God from the inside out. Jesus said that true worshippers will worship God in spirit, it is absolutely imperative that we understand what that means.Jesus also said that the true worshipper will worship God in truth. There can be no doubt, that this means that acceptable worship will be circumscribed by the precepts of God's word. When Jesus prayed to the Father on the night of His betrayal, He said in John 17:17,Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. From the very beginning of time God has revealed His will concerning the kind of worship that He will accept from His creation, and He has repeatedly judged those who failed to worship Him according to His word. Therefore, the only way that we can acceptably worship God today is to worship Him according to His word. We must worship God only! Not men, read Acts 10:25-26,And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.Or idols,read 1 John 5:20-22, And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. When we come to truly understand what it really means to worship....God....with our spirits....in truth, above everything else God will be pleased, and that is the most important thing, but our lives will also be transformed. May God help us all to be the true worshippers who will worship in spirit and in truth. For it is wriiten to worship God only, read Matthew 4:10,Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.Thank you Lord for your word. The word for today is - Journey !

 

This is Holy week, are you on your journey to the cross? Do you not know when Jesus walked to the cross you ( the believers) did also? You have been crucified with Christ ! This walk with Jesus to the cross is a journey that you take, just you and Him.Your learn to rely on Him with all your heart. We can not hang onto this life, because this life is temporary, God’s Word is eternal. Read 2 Corinthians 4:18,While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. We have to allow ourselves to be crucified daily. Jesus tells us that he is the only way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through him. That means that our Savior Jesus Christ, is the only way to the Father there is no other way to the Father. Jesus suffered, died, and was buried and rose on the third day. Christ defeated death and rose and ascended into Heaven. Jesus was mocked, beaten, spit on, and badly mistreated and died for Us! How can we not love Him for all he has done for us? Awake and get to know want this week is truely all about, its Spiritual. When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place,read Acts 2:1,And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Wow ! Focus on your Spiritually life,not your physically life, because this physical life here on earth will one day pass away,read Luke 21:33,Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, read Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. And He also said,anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me, read Matthew 10:38,And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me..Are you one of His disciple? Now this is Jesus talking,read Luke 14:27,And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Holy !

 

What comes to your mind when you hear,The Precious Lamb Of God ?  You should be thinking, Holy,Holy Spirit, Savior, Master, Light, Jesus Christ, our Lord , and must more! He walked the earth giving the gift of life to mankind, showing and teaching us how to live a holy life. Nothing is to big or hard for God. God can mend broken hearts, He can mend broken lives. God can mend broken people back together. No matter what is breaking your heart today, look to God the healer of all diseases and the healer of broken hearts. Remember, this too shall pass.The word of God says, I know the plans I have for you, read Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God gives you a life with a future and with hope! This life on earth is temporary,one day we will spend eternity with him (the Lord). What an amazing hope this is! But for now while we live here on earth we need to seek after God and wait for God's perfect timing, its the plan of God, nothing just happens! God's sees everything that is going on, read Proverbs 15:3,The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. The Spirit of God says, come unto me, I will give you rest, read Matthew 11:28-29,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Are you looking for a way out?  Jesus says, I am the way, read John 14:6, Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. Also, read Romans 10:9,That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.Thank you Lord for your word. The word for today is -  Truth !

 

When you know the truth about God's love for us, it will change everything in your life. God's love is unconditionally, read 1 John 4:13-19,Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. Lets get some understanding of the freedom that we have, know more bondage, we are free! The bible is very clear, read John 8:35-36, And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Stop trying so hard to measure up on the outside, God is working from the inside out. Also, stop trying to measure up to some standard that pleases people in order to be accepted. The truth is you can never measure up to good standards with everybody. Are you trying to win the approval of men, or of God? You can not earn your way into heaven, thats a foolish way of thinking. Jesus said , the Holy Spirit would always lead us (the believers),read John 14:26 But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. The bible says, if you are looking for the favor of men you are not one of Christ's servants, read Galatians 1:10, For do I now seek the favor of men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.The word tells us to be strong in the Lord,read 1 Corinthians 16:13, Watch, stand fast in the faith, be men, be strong. Everything starts with Him and will end within Him. The truth is God created everything that is, read John 1:3, All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. God is the beginning and the end, read Revelation 1:8, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty!  The great I AM !  We have assurance in Him,whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Its done ! And we will know the truth, read John 8:32,And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
