The message for the beloved children of God - Touched Me Lord and Strengthened Me Lord !

Good morningThe message for the beloved children of God - Touched Me Lord and Strengthened Me Lord !
Maybe some people are faced with overwhelming odds today or from the year 2013, but Jesus promises, “It is finished"! Let the peace of God rest rule and abide now, And let the peace of God rule in your hearts. My prayer today is for us, speak over yourself, Touched Me Lord and Strengthened Me Lord for the things to come in the New Year 2014. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to make His home in us by acknowledging Him in all our decisions. Read Daniel 10:18-19, Then there came again and touched me one having the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me.When we acknowledge the Holy Spirit’s presence and heed to His commands we will experience God’s best in life. Amen. Heavenly Father, let us hear from you today as we move forward into the New Year 2014. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Time with God!

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Time with God!
Life is a never-ending series of choices daily, but we need to hear from God for directions before we move forward. The noise we have surrounded our daily lives with is very much a distraction, to achieving the type of intimacy and quality time with God that He so desires for us to have with Him. God wants to fellowship and communicate with us daily. God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to take our place and to die for us. He did this so that we could once again have fellowship with Him. Read Romans 10:16-18, But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. God will reveal Himself to those who humbly seek Him. It is amazing to me how many believers don't spend time reading, listening or praying daily to hear from God. There are many people who believe in God, but don't know Him. Understand this, Satan also believe that there is one God. Read James 2:18-20,Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Understand, time alone with God is imperative to our spiritual growth, many of us should already know this to be true. The word of God tells us to seek the Kingdom of God first. Read Matthew 6:32-34, (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Heavenly Father, let us seek your face daily. Let us learn to put aside time to hear from you Lord daily. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. We understand that nothing and no one comes before you Lord. We devoted our time and life to your will. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The message for the beloved children of God - Encouragement !

The message for the beloved children of God - Encouragement !
Food for thought, we all need encouragement. Let nothing discourage you for the New Year to come. Let us look forward for greater and better things from above. Read this quote and move forward, “Everyone has inside them a piece of good news. The good news is you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is.” – Anne Frank. With that being said, trust God's plan for your life. We have to get a greater understanding of the power of God. He is in control of everything in your life trust Him and His word. Read James 1:1-4, James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Seek him daily and trust him to provide everything you need. Get understanding of this quote; “When life knocks you down, try to land on your back. Because if you can look up, you can get up.” – Les Brown. Heavenly Father, we look to you Lord. There is nothing to hard for God. We seek you Lord day and night. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - The Prince of Peace !

Happy Holiday, He is the reason for the season !!!
The message for the beloved children of God - The Prince of Peace !
“A son was given for us ” is the greatest gift from God the Father to us. A child was born unto us, Jesus Christ, He is the Prince of Peace. Read Isaiah 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Many people have forgotten what the season is about. The season is the celebration time of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is said that because the birth of Christ has been commercialized and secularized the real meaning of the season been lost. For the most part this is true for believers and non-believers. Even the story about the birth of Christ is often distorted, mocked, or misrepresented. The meaning of Christmas is said to be the spirit of giving. The question is giving what? We should be giving thanks unto God, for His One and only begotten Son Jesus, for the shedding of His innocent blood for us. Read Matthew 26:27-29, And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. Jesus was the only child in all of humanity born to die, for you and me. He died on the cross to set us free from the treachery and consequence of sin, in this world. Read John 3:16-17,For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. We could not do it ourselves, the word became flesh for you and me. Read Philippians 2:7-9, But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. In the birth of Jesus Christ is our redemption, our blessing, our cleansing, and all our hope. Heavenly Father, let us not forget about you Lord in this Holiday season. For there is no one greater or more powerful then you Lord. For you Lord heal the blind, heal the lame, and heal the sick. You called Lazarus from the dead, in a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth, And he that was dead came forth; your victorious in all that you do, you have power over sin and death. We give you Lord all the glory and all the praise. Thank you Lord for your One and Only Son Jesus Christ. Nothing we can do will ever add to or take away from the work that Christ did on the cross for us. We must understand in order to experience true freedom. It is in the Blood of Jesus that washed away our sins. We have complete forgiveness now, we walk by faith not by sight! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The message for the beloved children of God - The Way, The Truth, and The Life !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - The Way, The Truth, and The Life !

Jesus is telling Thomas and us that there is only one way to the Father in heaven, and He is the way. In other words, through Him and Him alone, we have access to God. With Him we have the entire truth and power to overcome everything. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Read John 14:4-7, And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Understand this, He is the one and only true God, and He gives eternal life to the believers. We need to seek the truth, and study the word daily. When you read the word, you will get to know Him better. God loves us and wants us to have a personal relationship with Him daily. No one is greater, wiser, or more powerful then Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to do what we could not do for ourselves. Read John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He came into the world to bring us back to his Father. The word of God says, seek and you will find the truth and you will be made free. Read John 8:30-32, As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Heavenly Father, help us your beloved children learn to seek you daily. Let us keep our minds on the things above. Let us learn to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you and me. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Wait on the Lord !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Wait on the Lord !

Read Jeremiah 29:10-11, For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. We must learn to trust in the Lord and His plan to renew our strength in Him. Read Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. We must remain steadfast and unmovable in our faith in Him. Paul spoke of remaining steadfast in your faith. Life will throw many temptations, trials and difficulties in the path of all who truly seek to follow the Lord Jesus. Don't move outside of your faith, trust God to bring you thought your trials. There will be times when these temptations and trials may feel overwhelming and maybe even insurmountable. Possibly there will be even times when the thought comes, ‘why me’? Just trust God's word, you will have victory, we are overcomes in Christ Jesus. Nobody is unique in having this experience, for it will be something that all those who diligently seek the Lord Jesus and strive to follow him will go through. Without Christ we are powerless and have no hope. However, if we remain in him then despite our weaknesses, despite our failures, we will ultimately bear fruit, we will produce the works of faith. What really counts is how we respond to these trials and moments of weakness. Read 1 Corinthians 15:58, Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. To remain steadfast and unmovable we have to know the Word of God first and trust His word. The word says, we walk by faith not by sight. To be stedfast and unmoveable is to be spiritually grounded in the word of God. So, let us study the word daily. Read 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Heavenly Father, help us your children to trust your word. Let us learn to wait on you Lord and your timing. Let us lift up our hands and voices unto the Lord and worship Him in spirit and truth. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Faith !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Faith !
Where is your faith ? Is your faith in God or man ? The word tells us in Titus 3:5-7,Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. God has giving us a gift, it is not by our works, it is by grace. Those who "walk by sight" depend on authority from what they experience, not by visions they see, voices they hear, or emotional surges they feel. But a reliance upon the senses for authority is dangerous. Let's look at Ephesians 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God .Those who "walk by faith" confide in revelation for authority. In fact, our faith and the revelation of God's word are so connected in the Bible that sometimes the gospel message is referred to as "the faith". read Jude1: 3, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The only way to "walk by faith" is to walk as Scripture directs us. Have you heard the word of God? Trust the word and walk forward. Heavenly Father, Your word Lord challenges us to "walk by faith, not by sight. We trust your word, we walk today by your will. The more faith steps we take, the more comfortable this walk will be come, and the more confident we will be of the destination of our walk in Christ Jesus. Help us Lord to take one step at a time. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Prayer for one another!

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Prayer for one another!
When you pray do you put others needs first ___? Or do you talk to God about your needs only? We have to get understanding first, we all need to pray together for one another,we all are in the need of prayer. We all need to touch and agree. Read Matthew 18:18-19,Verily I say unto you, whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be what has been bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be what has been loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth concerning anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. Heavenly Father, I go before the throne of grace for others this morning for love, joy, hope, healing, power, and authority over the devil, I bind the spirit of fear. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Study the Word !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Study the Word !
Let's look at the first step,Those who would learn the things of God, and be assured of them, must know the Holy Scriptures, for they are the Divine revelation. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Those who would get true learning, must get it out of the Scriptures for all need to be taught, corrected, and reproved. We all need the knowledge of the word of truth. We need to know, What does God's Word Say? Amen! The Bible is the sound and voice of God, the Bible assist you in your journey of understanding God's heart. Let's look at Romans 10:8-11, But what saith it ? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is , the word of faith, which we preach ; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved . For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith , Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. A True Believer is expected to do more than just claim to be a believer. A True believer is not just a state of mind, it's a way of life. The word tells us if "Ye are the salt of the earth (see Are You Salty?): but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." "Ye are the light of the world." "A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works (see Works Means Obedience), and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Read 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But strifes of words destroy the things of God. We have to be approved unto God, not mankind, speak only the sound from God ( His word) .We must see to it that we are speaking the truth, the word of God only! We must trust in the Lord with all our heart. Read Proverbs 3:1-2, My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Heavenly Father, let us learn to study your word daily. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Moving Forward!

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Moving Forward!
Everyday is another day to move forward. I want to live my life one day at a time, asking the Lord what is your will for my life today. Read Philippians 3:13-14, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. There is one thing that I consider every day of my life is that, I did not make it this far on my own. It is the will of God that I am still here. For me, I am moving forward in the promises of God and His plans for my life, I'm straining forward to what lies ahead of me. Are you standing on the promises of God? We can trust God's word, He will keep His promise and fulfill them. The word of God tells us, that we are in a race, so run your race and receive the prize. Read 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Understand that it is true that man has a plan, but God orders our steps. There are many personal goals that all of us did not fulfill, so it is best to thank God for the positives and not dwell on the negative. We need to look forward to the things set before us and trust God's plan. We must understand that the Bible tells us to press on towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. We are in a race and we can’t go back and retrieve any time lost from the previous day or year. Keep going, keep running, keep moving forward, and keep praying, everything will get better. Read Psalm 84:11, For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Heavenly Father, let us your children move forward in the things of the Kingdom of God. For we know that you will not withhold any good thing from your children. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Stand on the promises of God !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Stand on the promises of God !

One of the disciples asked Jesus a question. Read John 14:5-6, Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Understand God's word it is truth , it is a promise, that He will fulfill, He can not lie. Read Numbers 23:19-20, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. It may be difficult to understand sometimes, but we have to trust God's timing and word. God's word,"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” God has promised to supply every need that we have. The Bible says in Phillipians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now notice, God has obligated Himself only to the extent of our needs. That would include food, clothing, shelter, companionship, love, and salvation thru Jesus Christ. It would not include the multiplicity of luxuries that we have come to think of as needs. Read Galatians 6:6-9, Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. So many people stubbornly want to witness miracles or see Jesus in person before they will believe in him, but God says, in His word to come to him as you are, in faith. So, start walking by faith not by sight on the promises of God. Ask yourself are you like the disciple Thomas ? Is your faith based solely on what you can touch and see? Understand that all the disciples, deserted Jesus during the crucifixion, except one John. But the Apostle Thomas is singled out in the gospels for His words of doubt. He was not with them when Jesus came and stood among them and said to them,“Peace be with you,” this was after the crucifixion. The other disciples told Thomas, “We have seen the Lord.” Thomas said, I will not believe,“Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.” Eight days later, Jesus came and stood among them again, this time Thomas was there. Jesus started talking to Thomas, Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. What was so awesome to me is, Jesus knew that Thomas had doubted His word. Jesus is saying, to us today, Stop doubting, and believe my word, you are a blessed people. Read John 20:27-29,Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Heavenly Father, we thank you for giving us hope. We understand that all things work together for the good to those who love and serve you faithfully. It may be difficult for us to see and understand sometimes, but you Lord has promised it, and you will fulfill your promises to us your children. We stand on the promises of your word. For your word is everlasting, and eternal life. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - A Time for Everything !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - A Time for Everything !
The bible is very clear, it says that there is a time for everything under the sun. Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-10,To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. Understand that God is in control of everything. God has a purpose in what He does even if we have a heard time understanding what that purpose is. We must trust Him and His plan, we must acknowledge him in everything, daily, even when things look bad. Jesus says in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Just trust Him, He will direct you, if you move yourself aside. Read Proverbs 3:5-6,Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. God's ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. Read Isaiah 55:8, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. We know that everything will be okay, God has started a good work in us, He has a plan. We know that everything will work out for our good. Read Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Heavenly Father, let us not lean on our own understanding, but to acknowledge you in everything. For we know that your thoughts are higher then the earth. We seek you Lord for directions, we walk by faith not by sight. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Perseverance !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Perseverance !
Read James 1:12, Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trials, when your in the will of God, you will have peace. Do you know what Perseverance mean? It means steadfastness in doing something despite the delay or difficulty in achieving success. The quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult. Read Romans 5:1-5, Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Nelson Mandela, the revered South African anti-apartheid icon who spent 27 years in prison, led his country, He was the first black president, in South Africa. A man that spoke up for what was right for the people and the nation of South Africa. He had a voice of power and wisdom. Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith of God. Read Galatians 6:8-10,For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. You would be wise to be careful and not raise a hand or voice against a true man or woman of God, they are called by God for His purpose. Heavenly Father we thank you for calling us for your purpose. Thank you Lord for loving us. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God -Having a Vision !

The message for the beloved children of God -Having a Vision !

The world has lost a beloved friend and mentor to the nations and the people; Nelson Mandela, thousands throng to Soweto stadium to celebrate the life of "Tata Madiba." Tens of thousands of South Africans have joined dozens of world leaders for the national memorial service for former President Nelson Mandela. The sounds of horns and cheering filled the stadium ahead of the ceremony,in South Africa. Rain sent those who arrived early into the stadium's covered the upper deck, in South Africa rain means a blessing. For the Lord does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants. Understand, Nelson Mandela lived a life like no other human being, He had a vision and power from within to stand for a nation and the people. The Bible says, without a vision the people will perish, thank God for His vision and strength. I’m convinced that God has given us the believers a mission also.Through His word, He will give you insight into your spiritual destiny. I believe God wants us to use our hearts and spirit in determining how to best fulfill the mission that is assigned to us. An assignment is a mission or position to which a person is assigned. We can say that wisdom for our assignment is the God-given ability to make a stand on God's word. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Life knocks us down again and again; it’s easy to lose hope. But it is often not the flashiest or most gifted people who succeed. It is often the humble, dependable ones who tenaciously refuse to give up. In some ways, we can say that wisdom is the God-given ability to see the true nature of things. In addition to everlasting life with him, God gives us a new way of looking at things in the here and now. Paul was given a vision from God, a vision that enabled him to withstand trials and temptations without giving up. President Jacob Zuma said, the former President Nelson Mandela "was one of a kind, a fearless freedom fighter who refused to allow the brutality of the apartheid state to stand in way of the struggle for the liberation of his people." Ask yourself can you stand without giving up? Can you put others before yourself ? Heavenly Father, let us walk wisely and fulfill your God given assignments. Let us discover your assignment that you have placed within us. God has given everyone an assignment, just like President Nelson Mandela. President Barack Obama said, President Nelson Mandela embodied the spirit of "uBuntu", which means "I am because you are". He added that Mandela showed us the power of the possible, the power of taking action. Thank you Lord for the life of "Tata Madiba" for your people and your glory. Thank you Lord for your word.

The message for the beloved children of God - Thought for today !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Thought for today !

What are you thinking about everyday, things above or the things of this world? Your way of thinking can and will change the outcome of your life. The question, what is in your heart? Whatever is in your heart will lead you, nothing is hidden from God.Do not think only about things down here on earth. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Read Colossians 3:2-4,Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. In order to have victory, we need the right mental focus.Read Matthew 6:33,But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Prepare for Eternity. Heavenly Father, help us to keep our minds on things above. We walk by faith not by sight. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Honour !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Honour !
Unity we stand together and give honor to South Africa's late President Nelson Mandela. We are told by God to give honour to whom honour is due. Read Romans 13:7, Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. The Bible gives us a command to honor one another. We give honour to President Nelson Mandela the most inspiring leader of the 20th century. His successful life and leadership, His ability to motivate millions with his words. May His soul rest in peace, He has done His mission. His words to leaders; “It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.” Nelson Mandela,Inspirational Words of Truth.
Here is a collection of quotes that personify his spirit: 1) "Difficulties break some men but make others. No axe is sharp enough to cut the soul of a sinner who keeps on trying, one armed with the hope that he will rise even in the end." 2) "Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do." 3)" Real leaders must be ready to sacrifice all for the freedom of their people." 4)"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." 5) "A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination."
Muhammad Ali's poignant statement on former South African President Nelson Mandela, who died Thursday at the age of 95: "I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Mandela. His was a life filled with purpose and hope; hope for himself, his country and the world. He inspired others to reach for what appeared to be impossible and moved them to break through the barriers that held them hostage mentally, physically, socially and economically. He made us realize, we are our brothers' keeper and that our brothers come in all colors. What I will remember most about Mr.Mandela is that he was a man whose heart, soul and spirit could not be contained or restrained by racial and economic injustices, metal bars or the burden of hate and revenge. He taught us forgiveness on a grand scale. His was a spirit born free, destined to soar above the rainbows. Today his spirit is soaring through the heavens. He is now forever free."
" We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” I know many of you have heard United we stand, divided we fall. This adage has been with us since generations after generations. Understand in union there is strength.Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. How good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters dwell in unity. Read Psalm 133:1, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Genuine Brotherhood: "Let the strivings of us all prove Martin Luther King Jr. to have been correct, when he said that humanity can no longer be tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war. Let the efforts of us all prove that he was not a mere dreamer when he spoke of the beauty of genuine brotherhood and peace being more precious than diamonds or silver or gold. Let a new age dawn."
--December 1993, Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech
Heavenly Father, help us to love one another and set a good example. Help us to stand together by your word in unity. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Knowing God's Voice !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Knowing God's Voice !
Read Revelation 3:22, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Do you believe God speaks__? Are you hearing God’s voice on a regular basis___? The first thing we must learn is the voice of God. Can we really hear God's voice? Yes, we can, if we learn to listen. In order to actually "hear" from God, we have to know some things about God's character. We have to develop an understanding of who God is, and the way he does things. I was working in my yard one day and I heard the voice of God speak to me. He said, do you trust me? I said, Yes Lord, I trust you. Then, He said it again, do you trust me? I said, Yes Lord, I trust you. I just kept working in the yard, and then He called out my name, Sheila do you really trust me? I stood up and looked around, and sayed, Heavenly Father I trust you with my life, for my life is not my own. Sometimes you will hear a tiny small voice from within you, it is the Holy Spirit. Sometimes in dreams while you are sleeping, or a vivid image that comes to mind while praying, God does use visuals to speak to us and gives us the wisdom to interpret what He is saying. He sometimes speak to us through other people. Some people have asked this question, why hasn't God ever spoken to me? The answer to the question is easy, are you listening? Read John 16:13, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Heavenly Father, we are your sheep and we know your voice. Trusting in You Lord, means that you're not relying upon yourself, but on Christ to get you through. We cannot get into the Kingdom, by doing good deeds, things that we think will make us acceptable to God. Jesus said, If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The message for the beloved children of God - Where is your Faith ?

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Where is your Faith ?
One thing that every disciple (believer) needs to do is, Examine yourselves, this is the word of God. Read 2 Corinthians 13:5-6, Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. Have you past the test or failed the test___? Jesus asked His disciples, where is your faith one day on a ship? Read Luke 8:22-25, Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. Children of God ask yourself, where is your Faith__? Why are you worrying about tomorrow? Don't wasted your time on earthly things, spend your time more wisely on things above. Where will your faith be when you go through the storms of life? Understand, God doesn’t work or think the way we do! The disciples had forgotten what Jesus had said before they got into the boat to go across the lake. Look again what he said in verse 22, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” This means that Jesus had planned to take them to the other side. Jesus had no plan to let his disciples drown because he had a purpose for them and a plan for them to be his instruments, Jesus was with them in the boat, the whole time. We often forget that Jesus is right here with us, as we journey through life. We try to use all our experience, knowledge, wisdom and skills in order to change things, we can not do it without Jesus's power. Read Matthew 28:20,Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. The journey of faith, is what we walk by, trusting God's word. Just like the disciples on the boat. Sometimes it is smooth sailing, other times it becomes very stormy. But no matter what may happen in our journey of faith, Jesus is surely with us and will take us over to the other side. This other side is the Kingdom of Heaven that God promises to all who have put their faith in Jesus. It is clear that through this storm that the disciples came to know something about Jesus, His power and His authority. You may not know and you may not understand your storm, but one thing we can understand: God is a sovereign God, and He is bigger than any of us. Isaiah tells us that Jesus, thoughts are not our thoughts, and that His ways are higher than our ways. Read Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Something to think about. In 2 Corinthians 5:7 it says, (For we walk by faith, not by sight:). Amen. Heavenly Father, My faith has found a resting place in you Lord. We will seek to grow in positive spiritual attributes to reach beyond what is acceptable to you Lord. We seek first the Kingdom of God and your righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto us. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - The Storms of Life!

Good morning,
The word for today is - The Storms of Life!
Understand that the storms of life come to make us strong. Everyone is going through something. The question is, who is controlling your storm____? We can not control everything around us, but God is in control of everything! Maybe you’re going through one of life’s storms and you just can not understand why. God does not expect you to understand it all. But, He wants you to trust in His goodness and greatness and believe that He can cause something good to happen out of a bad situation. The storms of life also serve to remind us of ,Who is in control. We have to trust God in everything. Trying to be in control and relinquishing control at the same time just doesn’t work, they can’t co-exist inside the same heart. When life isn’t going how we’d like, and we don’t trust God, it’s easy to try and take the wheel from Him, and try and force Him to do things our way. Sadly, this will land even the best person in an emotional and spiritual ditch. Why not let God drive your life instead? I challenge you to let God take the wheel, and you just go for the ride. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this day and your love for us. Lord for you are in control of everything in my life and I can say thank you. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen.

The message for the beloved children of God - Everything !

Good morning,
The message for the beloved children of God - Everything !
The word of God says, Give Thanks for everything good or bad. We need to get some understanding of the word of God concerning our lives. The Bible doesn’t say that everything that happens to us is something God has designed for us. It says that in everything and through everything, and beyond everything we see, that He (God) will work it out for us. So, thank Him for always being there and always being on time. "In everything give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you." What’s the will of God concerning you? That in everything we give thanks. That’s the will of God concerning you ! We can see that finding God's will for our lives is found in the Bible. We know that God desires for us to not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind by the Holy Spirit. We need to transform our minds and then we can know the will of God. Read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. When you learn to know God for yourself, you will seek His will for your life. When you have the desire to find Him, He will be found. The word of God says, He will give you the desires of your heart. Ask yourself this question, are you truly desiring His (God's) will or your will? Make a decision today, follow your heart ! Heavenly Father, help us your children to seek your face daily. Help us, we know that you don't look at the outward appearance Lord, you look at the heart of man. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed to you Lord, that is in our heart. There is no creature hidden from your sight. We cannot escape from you Lord, Your eye's are everywhere. In Proverbs 15:3 it says,The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Share the Good News!

Good morning,
The weekend message for the beloved children of God - Share the Good News!
Something to think about this morning, are you sharing the good news of Jesus Christ? The Lord does not just say to read the Scriptures, but to share the good news. Those who believe with their hearts that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world have to share the good news with others. It is important to share the gospel with other people, understand some people have never heard it before. Read Matthew 28:18-20, And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Now, go and do His will and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, help us to speak in love and truth of the Good News of the Gospel. Thank you Lord for you word. Amen
