The word for today is -Trust!

Good morning,
The word for today is  -Trust!

Im back, after the storm, the Lord is asking, did you trust me through it all? The Spirit from the Lord is asking? Did you trust me, before the storm? Did you trust me in the storm? And do you trust me after the storm? You have to get understanding first, God said you must trust Him in all His ways. Lets look at the story of Abraham,God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here am I.” He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son.Read the story Genesis chapter 22. It's easy to trust in things we can see. That's where we mess up. We want to trust in anything rather than the Lord. We'll trust in our own abilities, in our boss's judgment of us, in our money, our doctor, even in an airline pilot, and the chair your sitting in. But, when it comes to the Lord some people have a hard time with that. How do you trust in the Lord instead of the world or yourself? Now get this, God has made a way for you, the secret lives within you. Its the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God within you. Wow! It requires that you accept the truth that God knows what's best for you.The Holy Spirit knows you better than you know yourself, he'll give you exactly what you need to make this change. Now read this, Of course, as God pointed out to Job, you were not there when God created all things, yet if you believe in Him and trust Him you also know and understad that the world was created by God, who is invisible. Of course, we cannot scientifically prove that God is there, and that He created the world. Yet, we can see the results of His creation, and from the things we observe we can deduce some of the ways in which He created it all. Yet, without faith we are unable to understand how the things we see (those things that can be observed and measured through the physical data we have available) does not come from a source that can also be observed and measured, but rather from God who cannot be seen. So, then, faith is whatever enables us to understand that the universe was created by the word of God, you see that same word by which He gave us His promises. This is the key read Matthew 19:26,But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. This is what Job said in Job 13:15,Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Weather Alert !!!!

Hello, my brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, I will check back in after the storm pass over.Weather Alert for the next three days.So what happens when we go through these trials? We do what Job did, we worship God, praise his name, and trust Him. God says that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without God not noticing. Read Matthew 10:29, Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. So, we have nothing to worry about. God is our guide, and he is always with us. There is no reason for us to fear anything. Read Romans 8:31-34, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. God, commands us to give thanks in every circumstance. Understand this, it is an act of faith. When things are tough it takes faith to thank God for our circumstances. We must know that God has a plan we do not see yet. We must understand that His wisdom is beyond our own. I pray that the Spirit of our Lord and Savior be with you all.

The word for today is - Together !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Together !

What would Jesus do? He would always go to the Father and pray.Read, Mark 1:35, And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.Lets read 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Did you get that, He says if you humble yourself and pray and seek Him, then something will take place. Also read,Matthew 16:19; 18:18,I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. As we look at these words about binding and loosing, we can see that though we do not understand all about them, nevertheless it is apparent that prayer is authority: an authority which operates in mystery. It is the link to that invisible world which is the control center of all human life. We stand on the frontier between two worlds when we pray. Therefore, as James  5:16,says,Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Now not only is it true that prayer is an authority that works in mystery, but it is also an authority which is expressed in unity. Get this,God wants us to pray together with other believers and to pray for others. Now lets look at Matthew 18:19-20, Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.  God also wants us to pray alone and in secret, read Matthew 6:6,But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The words for today is - Well done !

Good morning,
The words for today is - Well done !

When you stand before our Lord and Savior, will you hear from Him, Well done my good and faithful servant?   Read Matthew chapter 25:19-21,After a long time the lord of those servants cometh , and reckoneth with them.  And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying , Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability. Then they went on there journey. The word says get understanding, you see the master divided the money among his servants according to their abilities. No one received more or less than he could handle. If he failed in his assignment, his excuse could not be that he was overwhelmed. Failure would indicate only laziness or hatred for the master. The bags of gold represent the resources God has given us. God has given us time, talents and other gifts to do the work He has set out for us to do. These are given according to the abilities that God has also given us. Nothing is of ourselves, we only use the things God has given us. We are also expected to increase what He has given us before He returns. The issue is not how much you have, but it is how well you use what you have. Are you using your gifts to help others and further the Kingdom of God?  How well you used the gifts that He gave you under His direction and through His power, that is being a good servant. You are merely a vessel that God works through. We should carefully note the outcome of faithful service, and of unfaithful service. Faithful service led to increased responsibilities in the kingdom of heaven, and eternal joy in the presence of the Master, Jesus Christ. Now get this, one person is no better or more important than the other, though one may have greater natural ability. God clearly shows that the greater the capacity, the greater the responsibility. But we also find that though there is an equality in opportunity, there are differences in talent. With God's gifts it is the same, it is not how much talent one has, but how one uses it that is important to God. It is not how many gifts that God gives to a person, it is what one does with them. Unfaithful service led to condemnation, the removal of one’s stewardship, and an eternity of weeping and gnashing of teeth in outer darkness, away from the presence of our Lord. Wow, that is something to think about ! We must always appreciate all of Christ's gifts. "For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have." It is better to have a low position in God's service with faithfulness than a high position with unfaithfulness.Thank you Lord for you word. Amen !

The word for today is - Signs !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Signs !

When Jesus' disciples asked about the end of the age ,He responded by listing several warning signs. The first would be massive religious deception, including religious teachers who, while claiming to represent Him, would not follow His teachings, but would deceive many through a counterfeit Christianity. Some people are asking the question, what was that yesterday? That was the power of God, showing us that He can shake up the east coast anytime. People from many walks of life have expressed concern about the possibility of the end of the world as mankind knows it. But God has spoken in His word. The best way to find out what the "signs of the end times" are, is to read the Bible. Don't try to find hidden meanings or interpretations.Read Matthew chapter 24, Christ is answering the disciples the same question and says that there will be "wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in divers places...famines, pestilence...false prophets...people will betray one another...and the gospel will be preached around the world." Did you get that? The bible tells us everything we need to know about signs of  time,"Wars and rumors of war",it also goes on to say that "kingdom will rise against kingdom and nation against nation.Wow! So, what is on your mind today? Do you need answers? All that you need is understanding, the understanding is the word from God. Although, we do not know the time, one thing we know for sure is that the Bible prophesies the end of time. Now get this,in the Old Testament that dose foretell the coming age of the Messiah. But our present time, the time of human rule on earth under the deceptive sway of Satan. But, we are of God,read 1 John 5:19,And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. It is described by the apostle Paul as "this present evil age" but for the believers, read Galatians 1:4,Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:  Now get this, scripture proclaims that the present age, the civilization and societies we know today will terminate in a cascade of unimaginable destruction and violence that will climax at the return of Christ. Paul and the other apostles understood that, at the end of this age, man's corrupt civilization will be swept away and a new era will dawn at the return of Christ. Peter described this change as one in which "times of refreshing" will come from God the Father through Jesus, who will return from heaven when "the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets" Read Acts 3:19-21, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Jesus teach and preached to us. Now read 2 Corinthians 2:14,Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. You have the Holy Spirit with you. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Vision !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Vision !

Do you have a vision for others. I'm talking about Souls! "Where there is no vision, the people perish." The word "vision" used here has to do with the Word of God. Where there is no Word of God, where there is no message of life, the people perish. Read Proverbs 29:18, "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. " Now in Acts 2:17 God speaks of the kind of vision that I have on my heart, the vision that I could wish every man and every woman and every boy and girl who is saved and who knows the Lord Jesus Christ could have. In Acts 2:17 read, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams." Now that is the kind of vision that I am talking about this morning. God said the work of the Spirit shall be that "your young men shall see visions." Paul spoke of visions. Paul said in Acts 26:19, "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision." It is the "heavenly vision," seeing things God wants us to see, that I am tremendously interested in. "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision." How many believers today do you hear talking about missionary work? How many believers today do you hear talking about visitation work? How many believers today do you hear talking about revival? How many believers do you hear today in the average church praising the Lord for souls that are being saved? The lack of all this is an indication that we need a vision of lost souls. Read Acts chapter 16, a vision appeared to Paul in the night. God gave that vision to Paul. Acts 16 is one of the most dramatic chapters in the Bible. Things happened, people were saved. Families were baptized. Cities were stirred. Earthquakes happened. Prayers were answered. Jails were destroyed. And the work of God went on. This is the answer for the body of Christ, it's the message for the people on earth. Chapter 16 of the book of Acts is a great chapter, read it.  Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Search !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Search !

Do you hear the Spirit calling you?  Will your heart and spirit say yes, to the call? You have to get this, God search the heart of every mankind. But, He is so awesome that He tells us, I know the thoughts that I have toward you. Read Jeremiah 29:11-13, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. God will not turn His back on those who diligently seek after Him and His will for their lives. Are you seaching for God and His will for your life with your whole heart? Put on the garment of praise. Praise God continually for all of the wonderful things that He has done for you thus far and for all of the things that He is doing in your life right now and for all of the wonderful things that He has planned for you and is going to do in the future. Ask the Lord to give you wisdom and teach you the things that you need to know. Read James 1:5 says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. If you have pain from someone or something, read Revelation 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. He search the heart!  Now lets read  Psalm 55:22, Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Seek God with your whole heart, as you do, you will become more aware of what His special plan for your life is. Then , you will learn to walk in that plan for your life. There is no need of you going through life lost, hurt, or confused any longer. The word tells us that, God knows all things,God knows what is in our heart and thoughts. Lets read what the Lord said to Samuel, read Samuel 16:7, But the Lord said unto Samuel, look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. You have to get understanding, actions done with bad motives are despised by God read Proverbs 11:20,They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.  Lets look at the other side actions done with good motives are pleasing to God read Proverbs 16:2, All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. Also,God tests us to display what the intent of our heart is read Proverbs 17:3, The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord trieth the hearts. God has giving us an command, read Matthew 22:37 – 40, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Loving God with your whole heart is the key to everything in life; because your relationship with God affects everything and everyone in your life.  Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fullness !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fullness !

Lets read Psalm 16:11, Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Now look at Ephesians 3:19, And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Wow, joy and love!  Get this, the word used for to know means to “know absolutely”, to feel, perceive, and experience. This means that we are not to just know about God’s love we are to experience it. This kind of love is the most awesome experience we can have; it is the very presence of God in us. This is the greatest pleasure that you are created to experience. As we continue to walk in this kind of love, we become filled with all the fullness of God. Love creates an atmosphere where God can dwell. Also read,Colossians 1:19, For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;and 2:9, For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Did you get that? It's speaking of the fullness of God in Christ. God desires to fill us with the fullness of Himself. The command of Jesus Christ, written down by Paul the Apostle in the book of Ephesians, "Be filled with the Spirit" the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit in you is proof of God’s love for you. Read 1 John 4:13,Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. Your faith is proof of your love for God. However, faith with out works is dead. Lets look at the power of the Holy Ghost. Remember this promise in Acts 2:39, For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Now that says the gift of the Holy Ghost is a promise to everybody who will ever be saved. That is a promise to the believers. It is the same thing that Jesus said to His disciples in Luke 24:49, And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you:"The promise"! And Peter says at Pentecost, The promise is to you, too. It was promised to us apostles. The same promise is to you.' "Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem," Jesus said, "until ye be endued with power from on high." That promise of power from on high, the promise of the gift of the Holy Ghost, is to you, to your children, and to everybody whom God ever calls. In Ephesians 1:13, Paul says,In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Now, it is sealed, the Holy Ghost that God promised you, you may have it now, whose power you may have now, whose fullness you may have for soul-winning effort now. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Light!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Light!

In the beginning the Spirit of God moved over the land. You see in the beginning there was no light. Read Chapter one of Genesis 1: 2-4, And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  In the beginning,Separation of Light from Darkness took placed. God outstretched His word separating the light from the darkness, this means dividing the light from the darkness, it's the separation of the one from the other. Did you get that? In order for man to see and not stumble, for mankind to have away out of darkness.  Understsand that a man can stumble with no light in Him. Read John 11:9-10, Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. What did God do for us? He gave us His one and only Son Jesus ! Lets look at  John 12:46, I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Lets look at 1 John 2:9-11, He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. Wow, your the walking died ( Spiritual). Now get this, you can count on the light! Read Matthew  chapter 10,Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. Also read Mark 4:22, For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. Do you not know who you are? Read Ephesians 5:8-11, For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. As a believer, you belong to the day light, read 1 Thessalonians 5:5-8, Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. Then, the word tells us that He is the light of the world read John 8:12, Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. So, that means everything that is in the dark, He will reveal it in the light, you see God knows what is hidden in the dark. Understanding that the light of God will bring hidden things to light, you have to get this, with the light on, everything would be exposed. When the light comes on do you run to "clean things up" or "do you turn the light off "? When the light comes on, do we welcome the truth or rush to "turn it off"; do we receive it, even though it may hurt?  God is light, when we move into the light, it means that our deeds will be exposed. We must count the cost. He already knows everything about us, but He sees the good in us. Read Romans 13:12, The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. You should be walking with a brightness, you are of the light. Read John 1:5,And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Darkness can not overtake light, so walk as in the light, for Jesus is the light of the world. So, the word says in Matthew 5:14, Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. So, get stepping! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Children !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Children !

I would like to start by telling you a little story about my oldest granddaughter. In the morning, I always text my first granddaughter. I always say good morning Cheyenne how are you feeling this morning? She will tell me how she feels or she may say grandmom, I need to talk to you. So, I will say call me when you can or she may say good morning grandmom. Then, I always say, I love you my first grandbaby have a great day. She always say, I love you too. Two days ago, she was feeling sick, so I told her that I would come by to see her, so I did that, then I prayed for her, and gave her a kiss and said I love you. Yesterday morning, I did the same thing that I do, but Cheyenne reply back to me, grandmom I'm better, I prayed last night to God. Her words touch my heart,my soul and my spirit, ALL I COULD SAY IS THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR WORD.The word from God is this teach them. What do you teach them? You teach them, that God has all power, that God is your father and a father always takes care of His children. You teach them, that I can pray for you, but you have a sound that your Heavenly Father needs to hear from you. Teach them that, God is your source and this is true. Now get this,God often uses people as a resource to help answer our prayers to Him in whatever area it may be you see, God works through people everyday, and everyone is important to God.  We can see how important everyone is in Ephesians 4:16, it says,From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Wow, thats true love! So,These words that I command to you today to teach your children my way. Now the word from God tells us to train up a child, by His word. Lets look at Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Also, read Hebrews 12:2,Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.And read John 15:5,I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Wow! Are you standing on the rock ? The rock is the word from God. Read Psalm 18:2,The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. So, Friends and family, we need to help each other and bear one another's burdens and learn to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, but we can only be a resource of the One Source and that's GOD. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Clapping !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Clapping !

We have so much to thank the Lord for, why would you not clap your hands and praise His Holy Name? Read Psalm 47:1-5, O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.Did you get that? It says that, God is King over all the earth, not some part of the earth, but all the earth. So, get this ,we need to understanding, that His word says He will meet all our needs. Read Philippians 4:19,But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. So, you should be make a joyful sound everyday. The word tells us to Praise the Lord, why? Because, He has all the power in His hands.Read Psalm 150 :1-2, Praise ye the Lord Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. The word says in Psalm 150:6, Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Now, the question in some people mind is this, how long should I praise Him? Read Psalm 63:4,Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. It says, as long as you live! Now read this,Matthew 6:31-32,Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. You see those who live without God run after all the stuff the world has to offer. But with God it's done. Now get this, Our Father knows what we need and we need not worry, he will supply those things. But more importantly, our Father knows what we need for eternity, and he supplied that by sending his Son to die on the cross for our sins.Wow! Father, thank you for the promise of providing all we need. And thank you that those provisions don’t stop with food, water, and clothing. You provide for our eternity through your Son, Jesus Christ. And, I lift up my hands to thy, and say thank you, I clap my hands an give you all the praise! Thank you for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Victory !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Victory !

The first thing is that the victorious life is a gift from God, it cannot be earned. The Bible says, in I Corinthians 15:57,"Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Wow, thats an awsome gift ! Now get this, we were "spiritual dead", but God had a plan for us, in order for us to live again. I don't know where you are in your walk with the Lord, but the word says, It is God's power working in us that made us alive spiritually. Read Ephesians 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Just as there is a right way and a wrong way to seek salvation, so there is a right way and a wrong way to seek victory. The wrong way is to try to do it yourself. The right way is to let the Lord do it for you. The word from God says, in Matthew 11:28, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest".The Bible teaches that faith is the victory that overcomes the World. Read 1John 5:4-5,For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Do you need to hear from the Lord? Here it is, God saved you for a reason, read Titus2:14,Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. If you are willing to let God have His way with your life, then you will have the Victory ! Read Philippians 4:13,I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Did you get that? Its the power of God thats in you that makes you victorious. Read Deuteronomy 20:4,For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies,to save you. You see,He is with thy,and nothing or anyone can over power God. So,with Him you have the victory. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The words for today is - Thank you !

Good morning,
The words for today is - Thank you !

Why would you not thank the Lord for all He has done for us? Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins by laying down His life for us on the cross as the Scriptures says. Read Romans 5:8,But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Now read 2 Timothy 1:3, I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day. In your prayers you should be thanking Him for all He has giving you first, not asking for things, but giving Him thanks. Is there anything you need to thank the Lord for? _________! Also read 1 Corinthians 1:4,I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ. Now, you must thank the Lord for others also, your mother, your father, and you fill it in ___________. You didn't order people to come in your life, it is the order from the Lord, He said, I will give you what you need. The Bible tells us that God created mankind and that He loves us very much. In fact, God loves you more than you could ever imagine. The Scriptures go on and on about how great the love of God is and about how deeply He cares for each one of us individually. Lets look at 1 Corinthians 15:1-6,Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.  Then, He is so awesome He gives us away to the Father. Read John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Now get this, read Psalm 118:24,This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. This is a day to be thankful, rejoice in it.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fasting !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fasting !

The question is how to fast ? The Scripture tells us that the Lord drank water but did not eat food, for it says that after forty days he was hungry. Jesus set an example that we might follow in His steps, read Matthew 4:1-4, Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Now get understanding first, you see, the body can go for a number of days without food, but cannot go for long periods without water. Therefore, the Bible does not record any absolute fasts that go beyond three days, except the account of Moses spending forty days and nights on top of Mount Sinai, without food or water. This was a supernatural encounter with God and he was sustained during that time, because otherwise he would have died, as the human body cannot go without water that long. Prayer and fasting often go hand in hand, but this is not always the case. You can pray without fasting, and fast without prayer. It is when these two activities are combined and dedicated to God's glory that they reach their full effectiveness. The Lord said He would give us the "keys to the kingdom."Read Matthew 16:19, And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. What did He mean by that statement? You have to understand that we are transform from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.  Now that we have a New King and live in a New Kingdom, we must understand "kingdom principles" if we are to be victorious Believers. We cannot overcome anything until we have the keys that unlock the kingdom of heaven. The Lord never meant for us to wait until we die to experience heaven but purposed for us to bring heaven to the earth through the power of His Spirit. Read Colossians 1:12-13, Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Fasting can be done for one meal, one day, one month or for however long God leads you. It depends on how the Holy Spirit speaks to you. Shorter fasts are easier to endure for your first fast for a month or two. You will find that talking to the Lord is the greatest conversion in life, you can be spiritually cleansed by fasting so that you can receive more of the Lord's Spirit and have your spiritual eyes and mind opened to new dimensions. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fullness !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fullness !

If you are seeking the fullness of God, you need to do somethings first. You need to understand the word "IF".  The word from God says, read 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Read that again, if my people (my sheep) which are called by my name only, not called by man, they will hear from heaven, now thats powerful.  God is telling us something, if your looking for the fullness of Christ, you must be looking for the truth. You may say you believe in the Bible, so that means that you are a doer of the Word and not a hearer only ,as found in James 1:25, But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.If you believe it, yet fail to do it, it looks like you do not believe it. The word from God says if you seek me you will find me. If we want to possess the Fullness of God, we must seek the Lord our God with all our heart. Read Jeremiah 29:13, And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Also,Read Isaiah 55:6, Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. If we desire to possess the Fullness of God, we should seek the Kingdom of God. Read Matthew 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. If we wish to possess the Fullness of God, we need to seek those things which are above. Read Colossians 3:1-4, If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. When we meet Him,we being a new creature in Christ, we will possess the fullness of God because we will become a partaker of the Divine Nature of God. We will become a partaker of the Spiritual Nature of God, read 1 Corinthians 15:24, Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. Remember, too, that the day He rose from the dead, He breathed on them read John 20:22,And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:  and they did receive the Holy Spirit to dwell in their bodies. Before Pentecost Jesus told His disciples, speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem." 'Do not start out to hold any revivals. Do not start out to take the gospel to all the world yet. You are not ready yet,' Jesus said. "But wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence."In Luke 11:13 Jesus, teaching His disciples,  "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" We find an emphasis there on the Holy Spirit as a soul-winning power about which we do not hear very much these days. Read Luke 24:49, where Jesus said, And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Now get this, read Matthew 17:20,And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.  Did you get that ? Nothing is impossible with the power from above. Read John 14:6,Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Get this, that all the disciples had received grace. Read John 1:16, And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.  You must get to know the fullness of God, and walk it out. You have power within you, the Spirit of the living God, is anything to hard for God? NO! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Study !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Study !

Reading or listening to the Bible is one thing but studying the Bible is much different. When you study the Bible, you slow down and dig deeper. The Bible is a source of Spiritual Riches that can never be exhausted. You can study it throughout your whole life and will still see something new everyday or everytime you study. The books of the Bible were written by prophets and disciples who served God. Now, did you get that? who served . Who did they serve? God not mankind. The Bible is "God's word" to mankind. The word comes from the greatest teacher of all, God himself. The word is a sound that speaks to your spiritual being. It teaches you how to treat other people and what is right and what is wrong.God also teaches you how to live through the Bible. If you have not read and studied God's word then you will just have your own opinions and your own thoughts about God that are not based on the truth that He has revealed in His word. As you study God's word you create a solid foundation for the things you believe that you can share with others. Lets start with 2 Timothy 2:15,Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. It says you need to study to rightly divide the word, not what you think. Now, read John 15:7, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Wow, if you abide in Him and His words abide in you, then you are His disciple. This is a powerful promise of God, but it is conditional as we notice two "if" in this Scripture. It says, if His words are abiding in us, and if we are abiding in Him. He states we can ask anything and it will be done if these two things are existent in us. We need understanding, you see God's word never changes, it is us who need to change.  If we are not receiving the answers to our prayers, we need to allow the Word of God to change us. The Word of God never changes; so if there is any changing to be done, it must be on our end, inside of us. "For I am the Lord, I change not". Jesus is the Rock. He is solid and stable and will not change. For this reason we can trust Him and believe the Words He has spoken to us. If He said it, then that settles it. We must seek to know the whole truth and be completely surrendered to the will of God for us to be victorious and successful in Him and our life. The word tells us to seek things that are above. Read Colossians 3:1-3,If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Casting!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Casting!

Now get this, you are never alone. Read Psalm 55:22,Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Wow! That means He is there with you always. Read 1 Peter 5:7, Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Now, thats true love, it says cast all your burdens on Him, not some. Now,read Psalm 1:1-, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Now get walking, by the word from God, and then you will be blessed. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Forward !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Forward !

It is true that man has a plan for there life, but God orders our footsteps by His word. There are many personal goals that all of us did not fulfill, so it is best to thank God for the positives and not dwell on the negative. We must understand that the Bible tells us to press on towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. We are in a race and we can’t go back and retrieve any time lost from the previous years. Read Philippians 3:14,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The question is,are you moving forward? Are you in the same place in your mind, asking why? You have to understand that God has power over your life, you have been called to do a good work. Now get this,we should constantly be moving forward, growing and doing all we can to get the message of God’s love to others. The question is, want do you do when someone has hurt you? You move forward, you pray first to the Father and ask Him to help you first, then pray for the other person. It's a natural desire to want someone to hurt like they made you hurt. But, instead of planning vengeance, pray for those who hurt you.In God's Kingdom, revenge is unacceptable behavior, as is insulting a person, no matter how indirectly it is done. Instead, Jesus says we should do good to those who wrong us. Our desire should not be to keep score, but, to love and forgive. This is not natural, but it is supernatural. Only God could give us the strength to love as he does. You can not move forward without forgiveness. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Knowledge!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Knowledge!

Define knowledge, the fact or state of knowing; the perception of fact or truth; clear and certain mental apprehension :
acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation; general erudition: knowledge of many things. If we do not plant  knowledge when young, it will give us no shade when we are old. Written by,Lord Chesterfield. Also read, If you have an hour, will you not improve that hour, instead of idling it away? This is also written by, Lord Chesterfield. Now read Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. The knowledge which the nation of Israel so desperately lacked was the knowledge of God. You see everybody does what is right in their own eyes, when having no knowledge of God's word. Also read Hosea 4:1-2, Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.Wow, having no knowledge of God!  People are being destroyed for a lack of knowledge, a lack of truth. Read Matthew 13:15, For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. The people need understanding of the word.  Now read 2 Thessalonians 2:10, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  Lets read Isaiah 13:11, And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. Did you get that? You must believe in your heart first, then the Holy Spirit will start a good work in you. You must ask yourself, who will you serve God or the Devil. Now get this, either receive the righteousness which comes from Christ, or you can try and earn your own righteousness. Did you get that? try on you own. Wrong!  Can you thank Him and praise God for the freedom which is ours in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Devoted !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Devoted !

Yes, it is true God desires a person after His own heart. He is looking for people who will choose to be pure and wholly devoted to Him. Lets look at 2 Corinthians 12:9,And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. The Lord is telling us that His word is true, that it is powerful and He has giving this to us. Do you have a desire to know Him? The message of salvation is to all, but you must be devoted or submitted to God. Read Romans 10: 1-9,Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Wow, you must believe in your heart, that God raised Him ( Jesus)from the grave.  We have to be devoted to His word, His word is life. The Bible says David was a man after God’s own heart. Why did God call him this? It was because David chose to follow God with all of his heart. David deliberately put God first above everything else. You see, David devoted himself to God. The word of God tells us to seek the kingdom of God first. Read Matthew 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Understand this you must die to your flesh and live my the Spirit of the living God, read Galatians 2:20,I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. We are required, not only to seek the kingdom of God, but also "his righteousness." Now get this, your Heavenly Father will take care of you, if you seek Him first. Read Matthew 6:26, Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Devoted yourself to Jesus, He is your first love. Read John 12:25-26, He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. You see people have forgotten there first love. So, God said, I have this against you, that you have abandoned me, your not devoted to me. Read Revelation 2:4,Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Dominion !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Dominion  !

Lets look at the power God has giving mankind, man has authority from the beginning of time. Read  Genesis 1:28, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. But without a special permission from God, we cannot exercise any lawful authority. The authority that we have comes from God. Read Genesis 1:26,And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Lets look at this authority. Authority in the church is very different to worldly authority. This authority is not giving to be puffed up with for yourself, and is not giving to do more hurt than good for others.  Leaders within the church must, first of all, be servants. You are to teach the subjects of the kingdom of God, to instruct and help them, to counsel and comfort them, to love with them, and suffer with them, not to exercise dominion or authority over them, but to build up the Spiritual man. Read Mat - 27,But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. Wow ! In the early church it was not Elders or Pastors that made the final decision on matters, but the whole body after prayer. Read Acts 15:22, Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:  You see the Lord said let all ( the believers) speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you all in the body of Christ. Also read Acts 13: 1-3, Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.  And read 1Corinthians 1:10, Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  We are commanded to seek the truth ourselves, test all teachings, prophecies, words. Why test every spirit? Read 1 John 4:1,Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Because there are many false prophets!  We do not want to be deceived.  The Bible expressly warns us that many will be deceived, even the elect.  The best way to ensure that we are not mislead is by testing all things personally.  We cannot afford to rely on a human authority figure to protect us or give us their “covering”.Which is also not biblical.  The word "covering" only appears once in the New Testament  and it is in connection with a woman’s head covering.  In the old Testament it is not used in a spiritual sense and never in connection with authority of one over another. We are to reject those who would set themselves up over us in authoritative powers in terms of our faith to submit to them, as we submit only to Christ. Now, we have to know that God is over all, but there is an order giving from God.  Read Ephesians

The word for today is - Written !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Written !

It is written, we ( the believers) go from glory to glory, read 2 Corinthians 3:18,But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Now get this it's the work of the Lord, it's His Spirit working in us. It is written not merely with the finger, but with the "Spirit of the living God"; it is not the "ministration of death" as the law, but of the "living Spirit" that "giveth life." Lets look at 2 Corinthians 3:3-6,Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Wow! The word of God need to be written in your heart, it's Spiritual. Lets look at the mission of Moses which was given by the Law engraved on tablets of stone, valuable and important as they were, yet they could not be compared with the testimonials which God had given to those who successfully preached the gospel. You need to understand no human can touch your heart like the Lord can. Get this,No hand but that of God could reach the heart, and inscribe these truths there. The Divine characters are not made with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God; for the gifts that constitute the mind that was in Christ Jesus are produced in you by the Holy Ghost. This shows us that the just shall live by faith. It is written, the Holy Spirit is in us (the believers). Thank you Lord for your Spirit and your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Desire !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Desire !

Lets read Psalm 37:4,Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. What's in your heart? Is it the things of God or the things of this world? Read 1 John 2:15, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. You must understand that, if you give place to the love of the world, the love of God cannot dwell in you. Those who desire to be great in God’s kingdom must be a servant to all. It would seem that the more we give to others, the poorer we become, but this is not true! Service to others brings meaning and fulfillment to our lives in a way that wealth, power, possessions and self-centered pursuits can never match.  Jesus said, in Luke 6:38, Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete with it shall be measured to you also. Our good deeds should be motivated by a sincere desire to help others. Public recognition should not be the goal. Read Matthew 6:1-5, Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Wow ! This can not be the desire of the believers, you see all glory is God's. Paul had a desire. Paul looked forward to the time he could leave this earthly life behind and be with Christ. Read Philippians 1:21-24, For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Paul, thought of these things, he was in between two choices; to go to heaven to be with Christ, for his own benefit and enjoyment; or to live here for Christ helping others, the lost to know Christ. Whether we like it or not, we make that decision everyday. Each day when we wake up, we decide whether or not to live for the Lord. Paul comes to the conclusion right away that his life is worth living, because his life is for Christ. In fact, his life is Christ. We as believers do not need to struggle with why we are here, and our purpose in life. God has answered that for us in His Word. Our purpose here is to serve God,and others, and to bring Him glory. You must have a desire to know Him. Read Proverbs 2:3-5,Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. Then read Matthew 5:5-7,Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Thank you Lord for your mercy! Now look at Proverbs 8:34, Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. It says, having a desire to watch and wait to hear from the Lord daily.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The words for today is - Who is calling

Good morning,
The words for today is - Who is calling?
The question yesterday was who is calling you? Define a question first, it's a problem for discussion or under discussion; a matter for investigation; a matter of some uncertainty or difficulty. The uncertainty is that a voice spoke to you and you believe the sound that you heard. The Bible speaks of the danger of ignorance, in God's people Hosea 4:6,My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. So,how risky it is even to bring things God classes as abomination into our homes. Read Deuteronomy 7:25-26,The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.Unfortunately, our generation is so ignorant of God's Word that it has been quite simple for Satan to attack them. But, the word of God says in John 10:27,My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. You need to read that again, it says My sheep hear my voice! That's Awesome to hear from God. How do you know when God is calling you? Anytime we want to hear from God and know it is His voice, the method is still and always the same by praying, by reading the Bible, and by meditating on the word. God equips each believer with unique Spiritual Gifts or a Gift to help them in there calling. Get this a good list is found in Romans 12:6-8,Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. God will reveal everything to you, all you need to do is walk by faith and not by sight. Read Romans 12:2,And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Read Proverbs 1:1-7,The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Read verses 23-28,Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. You must answer the call in order to live by our father’s instruction, or you will turn away from the knowledge from God. The word from God is living water. Your appointed mission in life stays with you until the moment you are called back to the Father. Are you living to your full potential, are you answering the right call? Read 1 John 4:1-4,Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. He is not walking on the outside, but He is in us!! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Calling !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Calling !

The question this morning in my Spirit is who is calling you? Is it the Spirit of the living God or is it the Spirit of the devil? The word of God says know the Spirit by the Spirit.  The only way to know if you are being deceived is to know the word of God (Scripture) and know it well. Test the Spirit to see if it is of God, or if you are being deceived by a lying spirit.  That's something to think about today. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Tongue !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Tongue !

Do you realize that each of us go through life with a remarkable power right under our nose? It is a power so great that it is capable of producing life or death depending on how it's used. Why is the tongue so dangerous? The Bible tells us that our words are so powerful that they can bless or curse, encourage or discourage, hurt or heal, tear down or build up. Our words can even influence the way we act and feel as well as determine our attitude and outlook on life. It says in Proverbs 18:21, says that, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Two examples, lets look at bringing forth death and destruction it can be found in Mark 11:13-14, And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. Now lets look at an example of words bringing forth life it can be found in John 11:43-44:   The words of our mouth have control over our lives, whether we like it or not, or whether we believe it or not. What comes out of our mouth will determine our future. Now get this, your tongue controls the direction of your life, also like God, our words carry power. God gave us authority, the words we speak day after day carry the same degree of force behind them as the words God Himself speaks, for the believers. We must take up the sword of the Spirit and use it as a base on which we operate our minds. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:17, And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Jesus said in Luke 21:33, Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.   When reading the Gospels, you will notice that everything surrounding Jesus' entire life (His birth, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection) was a direct fulfillment of what God's prophets had spoken. We must get to a place of speaking under the anointing of God, not of ourselves. As we go through life, we will have several decisions to make. We must rely on God's Word when making these decisions. Jesus said to his disciples, read John 6:63, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  Also read Psalm 119:105,Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. The Bible encourages us in Hebrews 10:23,Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised). So here is the key, believe the Word, Pray the Word, Meditate on the Word, and Speak the Word. God's Word will not return to Himself void. Read Isaiah 55:11,So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. We need to get our minds thinking scripturally. We have to be very selective as thoughts continue to bombard our minds. Your mind will accept or reject thoughts according to what it knows about the Word of God. For when we read the Word of God, are minds will become transformed and renewed. Man was created in the likeness of God and given the right to choose his own words. We need to pay attention to every word and phrase that comes out of our mouth. We must guard the words we speak. The Bible tells us in Colossians 4:6, Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.The Spirit of God spoke to me an said read the book of Proverbs, it says in Proverbs 21:23,Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. That is a test sometimes for me, not all the time.  I thank God for He knows what's best for me. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Hand !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Hand !

So what happens when we go through these trials of life? This morning the Spirit of God is saying, hold to my hand, my unchanging hand.  Read 1 Peter 5:6,Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. If you humble yourselves then you will hear from the Lord. For the word of God is saying I change not.For I am with thy to the end, hold to my hand, my unchanging hand. How can we get through? We do what Job did, we worship God, praise his name, and trust Him. God has a bigger picture in mind.  It says in Matthew 6:27 that no one can help themselves or make anything better by worrying. God has the bigger picture. And although some of us are worrying about tomorrow, it just adds more stress. It says that we are more precious than the sparrows. Read Matthew 10:31-33,Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. And God says that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without God not noticing. Read Matthew 10:29,Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. So, we have nothing to worry about. God is our guide, and he is always with us. There is no reason for us to fear anything. Trust in God, and we have nothing else to lose.Read James 1:17,Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Now read Romans 8:30,Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. This is the work (hand) of the Lord.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Overcomer !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Overcomer !

You must understand that we are living in a time where mankind has become so disconnected from the word of God.Read Deuteronomy 20:4,For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Then the Lord has done something on our behalf, He has set us up. Read Deuteronomy 1:21,Behold, the Lord thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged. You are an overcomer, so get moving the land is yours. Whatever you put your mind to do move forward. Read Ephesians 4:22-24,That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. You need to have a renewed mind in order to overcome the things of this world. Lets look at the greatest overcomer of time, Jesus! Now, Jesus who had never sinned, chose to die as a substitute for sinners, read Hebrews 2:9,But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. . Jesus then showed His power over death and sin by rising from the dead on the third day read Matthew 28;18,And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Also, read Revelation 1:18, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.Because of Christ, death is a defeated foe. Read 1 Corinthians 15:54-55, So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  The grave is powerless over the power of God. Now look at Hosea 13:14,I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.Did you get that? It says, I will ransom them and I will redeem them from dead. This is Jesus talking, nothing can overtake me.The word tells us all that overcomes the trick of the evil one, will make it into the kingdom. Read Revelation 3:21,To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. How do we overcome Him, with the word from God. Read Revelation 12:11,And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. The first thing that God has provided in this life so that we can have victory over the wiles of the devil is the blood of the Lamb. Jesus gave His blood on the cross so that we could have the forgiveness of sins. It’s the work of the devil to tempt us to fall into sin so that we will fail God and become alienated from Him. We are accepted by God not because of our own accomplishments but because of the blood of Christ. It was important to Christ that His believers be testimonies on the earth. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." One of the last things that Jesus said to the disciples in the gospels was, "Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." There was also a very special promise made by Christ to those who bear witness of His name. In Luke 12:8 Jesus said, "Whosoever shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father which is in heaven." Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
