Good morning,
The word for today is - Awake !

Lets start with Ephesians 5:14,Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. A person who is asleep have no knowledge of God,and is incapable of performing anything worthy. This means in a state of complete spiritual torpor. Torpor means numbness; inactivity; loss of motion, or of the power of motion. Torpor may amount to a total loss of sensation, or complete insensibility. It may however be applied to the state of a living body which has not lost all power of feeling and motion. So, don't let this Spirit over take you, have no cares of this life, keep your mind on the things of the kingdom of God, it's about the Spiritual things in our life. It is the awakening of the mind and the heart; it is also the awakening of our physical self. You see Spiritual awakening is waking up to the truth of God's word. Spiritual awakening is usually a slow process because people are divided into two groups ordinarily, intellectual and emotional people, some are both. The word awakening literally means to be aware or conscious. When you are awake, you are self aware, and when you are aware of yourself you are aware of everything around you. If you are asking yourself "does awakening mean being aware"? Yes! You see, when you are awake you will realize and acknowledge that the Lord is God and it is he who made us, and we are his. Read Psalm 100:3,Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. So, awake and know this is the work of the Lord, in other words the hand of God the Creator. Read Psalm 119:73, Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments. The word from God tells us to get understanding, the idea that we have been formed or moulded by God is awsome, then He fitted us; shaped us, and formed us, not one of us is alike. Lets look at David's prayer for understanding. He is saying,I need to learn other things, I need to have my mind enlarged. When your mind is enlarged, then the Holy Spirit is at work. Read Deuteronomy 4:35, Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him. Lets look at Psalm 46:10,Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Get this, those who are awake and seeking him with all their heart shall find Him (God).Read Luke 21:36,Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Pray this verse Lord let me stay awake at all times and give me the strength to overcome the things that are not like you. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Wept !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Wept !

Why would Jesus cry and what would make Jesus cry? Do you know? I believe that His children or His friends would make Him cry, think about that, it is the same thing for us. Sometimes we cry also. Now read John 11:32-36,Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! Now read that again, it says Jesus wept. Wow!  Get this,"Jesus wept" is the shortest verse in the Holy Bible, found in John 11:35. He was also aware of the thoughts of all the mourners around Him. Over and over in scripture, we are told that Jesus perceived the thoughts of those who were near Him read Luke 5:22; 6:8. He wept over the impact that death had on his friends and the people there. You have see this, even after He told them that He would bring him back to life they did not believe Him. All His friends had heard and seen things that Jesus had done in the past, but they still had doubted His power. How about you, do you doubted His power? This is why Jesus wept. They didn't believe His word. Now get this, Jesus conquered death through His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary. The resurrection and eternal life in heaven are promises for all who believe in Him.  Read John 11:25-26,Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? It says, the believers will never die. So, we walk by faith not by sight. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Kindness!

Good morning,
The word for today is -Kindness!

Can we walk in kindness today? God’s lovingkindness is our daily guide. Let us pray daily for grace to know and live according to God’s lovingkindness revealed in Christ. This is a daily walk, you see we have to ask the Lord to help us daily, read Psalm 143:8-10, Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me. Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. Those who seek to mold and govern their lives by God’s lovingkindness will be well-governed. Their lives have been cast by the right mold. "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart." Now read  Proverbs 3:5-6,Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Thank you Lord for your word and help. Amen !

The word for today is - Fruit !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fruit !

We should study and understand the attributes of the ninefold fruit.Where do we find them in Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  These nine fruits are being given to us by the Lord. The fruit of the Spirit is a wonderful study for the believer, it's a manifestation of a believers transformed life. You see these are the fruits that all believers should be producing in their new walk in Christ, this is a visible growth. God wants all of us to enter into a true sanctification process with Him so that He can begin the process of molding, shaping, and transforming us into the express image of His Son Jesus Christ. He wants to make us into a better and more holy people. He wants to transform us by the renewing of our minds. Jesus has already told us that He is the vine and we are the branches. The branches draw their life from the vine.So how can we walk in the fruit of the Spirit? It is only when the love of the Holy Spirit starts to flow and enter into our Spirit can we even begin to love God, love ourselves, and love one another to the degree that God would like to see from each one of His children. Jesus is coming back for a Bride that will be without spot or blemish. He is calling His Children to clean up their act and allow His Spirit to begin a new work in them. Will you let Him in?  He will not force Himself on you. The first and most important fruit of the Spirit is love. Love is the virtue of brotherly and sacrificial love. It is a love that seeks the good of others. The word tells us that the greatest of the fruit is Love. Peter emphasize love as one of the greatest features of the kingdom of God. Love is a spiritual anchor of truth in relationship with God and one another. This love finds its source from God alone. Because of this kind of love God sent his only Son to die for us( the believers). The Holy Spirit is hard at work to reproduce this kind of love in each of the believers. We are to show this kind of love to one another and to the world. Thank you God for loving us. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Be still !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Be still !

Whether your prefer quiet time outside walking or studying God’s Word in your house, spending time with God is how you draw closer to Him.  So, when you quiet yourself down and think about God and all He has done for us, you will thank Him ( the believers).  Read Psalm 46:10,Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord is telling us to wait, and you will see the power of God. We do know to be still and not move around it's hard to quiet yourself down at first, especially when you’re not used to it. You might find your mind racing through a list of all the things you need to get done. You see it's the mind a distraction. Distractions are things that attract your attention and take your mind away from whatever you are trying to do. Every Spirit that speaks to you is not of or from God! You must know the Spirit by the Spirit, if it's of God,read 1 John 4:1,Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Read  Psalm 37:7,Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Now, lets look at Exodus 14:13,And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. Now get this, Moses says, stand still and you will see the mighty hand of God work for us.Why? you have see that the hand of God is on you and with you. Read Isaiah 61:1,The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. This is the favor of God for your life, you must trust Him. The word from God says in 1 Peter 5:6-7,Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Wow, it says, not some but all your anxiety. So, I say be still! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Knock !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Knock !

Lord, we are knocking at your door, we need to hear from you, how do we get an answer from you? Read Matthews 7:7-11, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?  Now, we need to know who to ask. The bible tells us in Luke chapter 11, One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.” Now, this was a very wise question! You need to understand some people pray amiss. Read James 4:1-3,From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. You have to understand something it's in Mark 11:21-26,it says, And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Did you get that? Our Father in Heaven will not answer your prayers, why? Because your heart is not right, YOU MUST HAVE THE SPIRIT OF LOVE!  It's in John 5:19,Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. LOVE,THAT'S THE SPIRIT OF GOD!  Read John 5:30, I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. Wow,thats powerful the will of the Father, not His will, did you get that? So,how do we get this door open? We have to pray to the Father,it's in Luke 11:2-4,And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Get in a place with God and ask Him to forgive you first, then ask for direction, knock and the door will be open to you. Where do you go to have your problems solved and questions answered? The answer is to go to the source of all wisdom, God Himself.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Born !

The word for today is - Born !

The first thing is you must be born again. Some people are thinking ,What? I'm a live!  Yes, you are a live, but Spiritual Dead. Now read John 3:3,Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Then,Jesus tells us if, any man be in Him they are a new creature, the old man died. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17,Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Wow! Now, some people are sleep walking, I call them living dead, how can someone come alive spiritual, how can this happen?  Read Romans 10:9,That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. You have to understand that the Lord does not want us to be ignorant people. Jesus tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18,But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Lets read Romans 6:3-9,Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Now get this it says no more! Do you not know that all of us( the believers), who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him or us! Now, get this part of the message, that's the power of God, it's done! A done deal, no more!!!!! Check this out, the Lord tells us in Joel 2:28-32,And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. Some people will rejected Him. Read Luke 7:30,But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him. Get this now, something takes place when you are born of the Spirit of God. Read Luke 1:35,And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. When you are born of the Spirit nothing can over take you. Read Matthew 16:18-19,And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Speak over youself encourage yourself in the Lord.  Encouraging words make a difference, Say Encouraging Words Daily to yourself and others. Why? because we are born of the Spirit and  Words of Encouragement Changes People. Read Proverbs 10:11,The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. This means a man or woman born of the Spirit of God speaks Streams of living water (like the "fountain of living waters" of Jeremiah 2:13; Jeremiah 17:13, and the "living water" of John 4:10), flow from the mouth of the righteous. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Fire !!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Fire !!

Understand God called Jeremiah at a young age. Jeremiah’s life tells us something of the divine operation of God’s will. God had a master plan for Jeremiah before the prophet was conceived in his mother’ womb. God’s call to the prophetic office was effectual; Jeremiah responded to the sovereign call. God gave Jeremiah all he needed to fulfill his ministry.God had spoken some great words to Jeremiah. He did this at the beginning of the prophet’s work. Jeremiah’s job was going to be very hard. But God encouraged him. Read Jeremiah 15:20,And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Jeremiah is one of the great prophets of the Old Testament. At times, Jeremiah was referred to as the “weeping prophet,” because of the heartfelt messages he proclaimed.  Jeremiah could not help but proclaim God’s word because of the fire burning within him. God’s word in Jeremiah was like a fire burning it just wouldn’t stay in. Now get this,we have or should have this fire in us ( the believers). It is a tremendous burden to have to tell people what they don’t want to hear, the truth. Jeremiah’s preaching, informs us that he was trying to keep God’s word to himself to ease his woes, but found that the woes within him only increased. Read Jeremiah 20:9,Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.  What was he referring to when he said "it?" What was it that he couldn’t hold in? What he couldn’t hold in was his knowledge of God’s word. That’s the way it is with the word of God in some men’s lives. "Is not my word like fire?" God says in Jeremiah 23:29. There is something about the word of God living in certain men’s hearts that simply cannot be held in. Read Luke 3:16,John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Then, He ask us a question? Read Jeremiah 23:28-29,The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? God has charged his shepherds today, with the same charge he gave to the Prophet Ezekiel, saying, Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the whole house of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say, and warn them for me. Jesus said that anyone who enters the fold any other way than through the door, was only a thief and a robber. And the thief only comes but for to steal, kill, and destroy. How much do you care for the lost? How concerned are we about the lost souls Paul fearlessly declared, in Romans 1:16,“For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation…” In light of this great power, should not the fire of God’s word be burning within us? Look at Paul and his companions went from city to city they met with two kinds of people,  those who heard their preaching and accepted it and those who heard their preaching and rejected it.The thing about Jeremiah is that he was faithful to what God told him to preach. You must be faithful to God and finish your course. God will reward you. Stay the course. Don’t quit! to God and finish your course. God will reward you. Stay the course. Don’t quit. Thank you Lord for your word !

The word for today is - Us !!!!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Us !!!!

The first thing each believer must know is exactly what it is that God wants to change about us. It's our Mind! The mind has to be transformed. The second question is why does the mind need to be renewed or transformed? You have to understand that the mind has been programmed. How? By books, teachers, television, the enternet,  movies, co-workers, friends, your boss, sometimes by your family. You see some people believe that they have the answer for our lives. But, the answer for anything that we need to know is in the book of life!   There is only one Book that will tell us, exactly what it is that God wants to do with us  and for us,from the inside and out to change us for the better for life.  And that Book is the Holy Bible.  Its the book of life! King David tells us in the Old Testament that we are to meditate on the Word of God.  When? Day and night!  Read  Joshua 1:8,This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Also, read Psalm 1:1-3,Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  The central point of this psalm is made in verse 2,delights! The person who delights in God's law so much that he meditates on it day and night is delivered from the ways of the wicked and sinners and scoffers, and is made fruitful and durable and prosperous. Wow! That's the point. Delighting in the law of God is the central issue. You have to learn how to develop “the right way of thinking” in the Lord, but you cannot develop the right thinking in the Lord unless you first know exactly what it is that you should be thinking about. The word tells us to set our mind on the things that are above. Read Colossians 3:2,Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  You have see that the mind needs to be renewed with the things of God. The word tells us to have the same mind that's in Christ Jesus. Read  Philippians 2:5, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: also read  Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.Wow! Lets look at Romans 12:2,And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. You have to know exactly what it is that you have to “set your mind on."Now get this, God knows our every thought. How? It's in the book of  Jeremiah 17:10, I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. also read Jeremiah 20:12 , But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause. The Lord says in Proverbs 23:7, For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. Also read 1 John 2:15, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Thank you Lord for your love for Us! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Blessed or Blessing!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Blessed or Blessing!
Lets start with in the beginning of creation "He blessed the seventh day.." Read Gensis 2:3,And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Also,God blessed people from the beginning of time read  Genesis 1:28, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Wow, from the beginning we are blessed! We have to understand that a blessing is a way for God to work through someone, and for someone. God can and will do more amazing things than anyone can hope to do on their own.Read Ephesians 3:20, Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. You see every good gift and every perfect gift comes from God. Read James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.Get this, God has prepared blessings for us. Read Isaiah 64:4,For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. There is so much more, that God has for us ( the believers). God said in His word that a man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked is blessed. Read Psalm 1:1,Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Who blessed us? Read Ephesians 2:8,For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Wow, it's a gift from God! Now this is the key, read Psalm 82:6,I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. Thats it, we are His children, so the Father always takes care of His own. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Salt !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Salt !

What is Salt? Salt is one of the oldest, most ubiquitous food seasonings an important method of food preservation. Salt, also known as table salt, or rock salt  is a mineral that is composed primarily of sodium chloride , a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of ionic salts. Salt is involved in regulating the water content (fluid balance) of the body. Now lets look at Salt from the word from God.  What did Jesus mean when he told his disciples they were the Salt of the earth? Read Matthew 5:13, Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. What is Jesus telling us when he says, "You are the salt of the earth?" He is saying that those who follow Him are like salt: They are called to make a difference in the world. Read Matthew 5:14-16, Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  Are you making a difference in the world?  You see salt makes a big difference, "Salt is good, but if salt has lost its strength it's good for nothing. Read Luke 14: 34-35,Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  In the Hebrew Bible, thirty-five verses mention salt, one of which being the story of Lot s wife, who, according to the legend, was turned into a pillar of salt when she looked back at the cities of Sodom and Gomorra , it's in Genesis 19:26,But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt, as they were destroyed. When King Abimelech destroyed the city of Shechem  he is said to have "sown salt on it," probably as a curse on anyone who would re-inhabit it. Read Judges 9:44, And Abimelech fought against the city all that day; and he took the city, and slew the people that was therein, and beat down the city, and sowed it with salt. The Book of Job contains the first mention of salt in all literature, read Job 6:6, Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg? In the New Testament, six verses mention salt. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus referred to his followers as the "salt of the earth". The apostle Paul also encouraged Christians to "let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt" read Colossians 4:6,Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Jesus emphasises to the disciples that they have both the calling and the responsibility to be influencers in the world. So, don't hide your light. · We hide our light when we stay silent in the face of discussion which is contrary to that which we believe. We hide our light when we fail to accept and conform with behaviours that are not in line with Jesus' teaching. We hide our light when we don't care for the needs of others, and walk by on the other side : since we have missed an opportunity to let the light of Jesus' compassion shine out in acts of kindness.  If we let the light of the Holy Spirit at work in us shine through, then we bring glory to God, and there can be no greater joy than being able to give glory to the Father as we go through our daily lives. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - You !

Good morning,
The word for today is - You !

The Lord spoke to me  as I was walking around my house  yesterday morning. A word for my people ( the believers). The Spirit said, It's not about You, I (the Lord) chosen you, you did not choose me.This means He chose very carefully.  It's in John 15:16,Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Get this, He chose you,He ordained you, He filled you with the Holy Ghost, He created you in His own image. In His image, He is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and We are Spirit, Soul, and Body. Do you understand that everything starts with God the Father? Read Gensis chapter 1 everything comes from God. There is something we must do in order to hear from the Lord. What? The word from God says, to humble yourself, its not about You. If, my people would humble themselves, then something would take places. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Only then, the Lord will speak to you.You see, He is always there waiting for you to speak with an open heart. Read Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. You have to understand that Jesus came to bring us back to the Father, understand this, we have another Spirit that's after us also.  Read John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. It's a  mystery raed Ephesians 3:7-10,  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. Get this, it's not by my power, but by the Spirit of the living God in us!  It's  a mystery that is difficult for humans to understand, but by the word of His mouth, God created all that we see.Read Gensis 1:1-2,In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. You can read Gensis chapter 1; Acts17:24; John 1:1; Hebrews 1:10, 11:3; Psalms 124:8; Revelation 4:11...etc. Do you understand the power of God? He is, the great "I AM"in Exodus 3:14, John 8:58; " The Beginning" in Revelation 21:6 ; ' The Word" in John 1:1; "A Teacher "in John 13:13 ; "Mighty", in Genesis 17:1; a "Leader"in Isaiah 55:4; "The Way"John 14:6; and"The End " in Revelation 21:6.  You have to open yourself to the things of God, to get understanding in John 4:34,Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Did you get that, its not about Him , but the one who sent Him. Now, read John 7:33,Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.He is telling us something here, what? It's in John 13:16,Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Build !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Build !

Lets start with 1 Corinthians 14:40, Let all things be done decently and in order. Ministers of the gospel should not aim to be admired, but to win souls to Christ that is the order giving to us by God. You see He gets all the glory when He is lift up. Look at Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Also, read Ephesians 2:8-9,For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.Read Hebrews 11:1-6,Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. You see, you must believe in whom your seeking, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists. The problem many people and many Churches have is that they attempt to do a lot of things without Christ. They should seek to build up the people of God in there faith walk and to present truth so that it can change there way of thinking.  It says in Philippians 2:5,Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.  No work is so important, and so serious in its nature and results, as the ministry of the gospel. You have to understand that people are seeking a way out, they are asking questions, what?, why?,and who? can help us? You see, He is your helper!Read John 17:1-10, These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. Also, read Colossians 3:22-24,Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Did you get that? We are servants of Christ Jesus, not of ourselves. Read 2 Corinthians 3:1-6,Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Understanding the word it's sharper then anything, read Hebrews 4:12,For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It's the order from God to build up the people,His word, it's life!Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Disciples !

The word for today is - Disciples !

The question is, Who are you? Are you one of my disciples? Yes ! Who is a disciple? A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ. You see the disciples were the students of Jesus during his ministry. The word disciple is used today as a way of self-identification for those who seek to learn from the teachings of Jesus. A definition for who is a disciple ,read John 13:34-35, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.Jesus told the disciples to give up their wealth and their familial ties. You have to understand that a disciple will say, and go, and do what ever the Spirit leads them to do. Read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Understanding this, there was a command giving to the original twelve disciples of Jesus, by God, go and speak the good news (the gospel) to the people. It's the same for His disciples today! So, check this out,In Matthew chapter 18 the disciples argue over which of themselves will be the greatest when Jesus' kingdom comes into full effect. Jesus responds, to explain their  misunderstanding of the humble and self-sacrificial nature of his teaching, "whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave." Did you get that? Here it is, you must be a servant to others and you must put others needs before you. Wow! That's want Jesus did, He came not to be served, but to serve. It's in Mark 10:45,For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Now, read it in the NIV Bible it says, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”  Understanding the word from God, I have chosen you to be my disciple, read John 15:16-21, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you". These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. He told them everything, the beginning and the end! You see,Jesus met His disciples privately on the Mount of Olives and instructed them concerning the sign of His coming. Jesus didn't tell His disciples they would be raptured into heaven, but they will see Him appear "after the tribulation." And then,He will send His angels with a loud trumpet to gather the elect.  And the disciples were instructed by Jesus before His ascension: Being a disciple of Jesus Christ requires a mindset that forsakes the individual will for the will of God. Anytime we choose God's will, it requires action. Action requires focus ,when a person sets his mind "on things above and not on the Earth beneath." In fact, when a person pursues God and seeks to be a disciple, his friendships actually tend to develop richer meaning and feel more fulfilling than friendships ever did before. Why,because the Spirit of Love is all around you, not sometimes but all the time. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Believers !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Believers !

Now, we have to understand that everything that Jesus said was for our good. Lets read John 14:6 it says,Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. You must see that He is telling us in order for us to live, you must believe in Him first. Also, He is telling us that, He is the only way in, He is the open door. The word from God is speaking to the believers and the non-believers. Lets look at John 3:36,He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Then He tells us, read John 1:12,But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. He is our Father! Read Mark 9:23,Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Now,John 3:18, He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.He is saying you have not believed in the Son of life. Understand this, in the first Adam we died, then, the second Adam ( Jesus) restore us back to the Father. How Awesome is that? Thank you Lord, for loving us somuch, that you send your one and only Son in order for us to live! Read 1 Corinthians 15:50-53, Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Season !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Season !

Lets look at Acts 1:6-7,When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Now, the word from God tells us that seasons change, what does this mean? It means that a period of the year there is special events or activities in the earth realm, but understand that there is a season in the Spiritual realm also. We have many seasons, holiday season (a time when many people take holidays), high season or peak season (the season when travel is most active and rates are highest), off-season (the season when travel is least active and rates are lowest),fishing season  (the season during which it is legal to catch fish), football season (the season when football is played), hunting season (the season during which it is legal to kill a particular species) ,growing season (the season during which a crop grows best),and seedtime (the time during which seeds should be planted). So, this means that there is a season for everything under the sun,the bible do not say somethings, but a time for everything! Lets read Ecclesiastes 3. 1-8, To Every thing there is a Season;to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. So,ask yourself what Season are you Walking in Now? Is it of the world or by the Spirit, you see the Lord says your footsteps are order by me.As a man or woman of faith your steps are ordained and ordered by God. God now has a perfect divine plan and destiny set up for your life, and He will now be the One to guide you every step of the way into the fulfillment of that divine plan! Wow! Read Psalm 37:23,The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Read Daniel 2:21-22,And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. You have to understand that this is done by the hand of God. He has all power, we do not have control over the circumstances and therefore we should be looking to the Lord for help.  When we let the Lord have His way everything always work out for our good. We will grow in the things of God, then and only then can we go forward.Read  Psalm 1:3, And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Transform !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Transform !

Psalm 46:1,God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.God has saved each one that comes to Him for a work that He has pre-determined for each one of His children, the believers. He has given each one of His children a gift or gifts and we are to use these gifts and talents, for His glory. The believers are to be different. God has called His people to serve Him and to serve others. In the Bible the word "servant, servants, serve" appears a little over one thousand times. In the New Testament, the concept of service and servanthood is found on practically every page. Read Matthew 20:28 “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." The Bible says all believers are called to serve God and one another ( Others)! You have to understand that it's not about me or you, it's always about our Lord and Savior. It's in Ephesians 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." God has prepared a work for us before we knew Him, before we even existed. In Ephesians 4:11 "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." The very purpose of God-chosen leadership in the Church is to serve God and others. We should dedicate ourselves fully unto God and His calling, this means to serve Him and others. We are not to conform any longer to the pattern of this world,we have to be transform. How? It's in Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."You see Paul tells us how this transformation is to take place, by "be transformed by the renewing of your mind." So you must understand this, everything begins with our thoughts we need to get into the word, and away from those things that draw us into ungodly behaviour and allow our minds to be transformed with Christ-like behaviours. We must feed our mind with the things of God and allow the Spirit of God to work in us. Understand this, living a transformed life is not easy, as a matter of fact it is a daily and ongoing process for the rest of your life . You have to understand this, God knows your heart, He never said that it would be easy. The word tells us that we will begin to exhibit the Fruit of the Spirit as found in Galatians5: 22-25,But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !.

The word for today is- Still !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Still !

First, we have to slow down and focus on what God's Word is saying to us, just be still and let God have His way.Lets read Zechariah 2:13, Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. So,be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Then the word tells us in Psalm 37:7-9,Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. Now lets look at Isaiah 40:31,But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. One of the best known stories in the Gospels is that of Jesus’ calming the storm on the lake. In the book of Matthew chapter 8:23-27, And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! It says, that the disciples cried out to Jesus “Lord, save us,We’re going to drown." Matthew says that Jesus said to them, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?”  The first thing that Jesus did in response to their request was to rebuke their weak faith. Then, after this Jesus rebuked the winds and the waves and they became calm. You have to see that, Jesus calmed the storm to encourage their faith. Here we see the power of His word over nature. He had already done miracles by His powerful word, and now here, He is demonstrating His power over the storm. You have to understand the power of God, the disciples was amazed at His power, you see they had never seen anything like this. The effect of Jesus’ powerful command was to calm the storm on the sea, but also to calm their fears. By taking care of the troubling circumstances of life Jesus was able to take away their fears and build their faith in Him. Now for us, there are so many things in life that threaten our lives and cause us to fear, the more we know the Lord and His power, the less we will be afraid. Do you understand that, yet the disciples were looking at a man, a human being, who had some special kind of authority over nature,He was demonstrating that He has the power!  Here was a man having dominion over the earth and the sea. Wow! We have to know for ourself that any of the dangers and troubles of this life that we face in the storms of life,God will overcome them all.  Nothing is impossible with Him.This is the outcome of being still, read Romans 15:4-6,For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are followers ( the believers) of Jesus, his disciples followed him,the Messiah, the Son of God. So, be still and know that, nothing is impossible for Him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Thanks!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Thanks!

Lets start with thank you Lord for waking us up this morning, thank you for the food on my table, thank you for the lights, water and roof above my head, I give you thanks. Lets read 1 Thessalonians 5:18,In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Did you get that? It says ,That in everything give thanks, this is the will of God. How many times do people say, about circumstances, "Well, this must be the will of God."The Bible doesn’t say that everything that happens to us is something He (the Lord) designed for our life.  It says that in it,and through it, He can and will work it out for our good. Understand this first, the word is only for the believers, you must believe in Him.The word says it in 1 Corinthians 2:14,But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. So,read Romans 8:28, "For we know that all things work together for good for them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." Now read 2 Timothy 1:3, I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day. Wow! Is this something you do everyday? It says, night and day, giving thanks. Lets look at the outcome of this read  2 Samuel 2:6, And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing. Also,Numbers 6:24-26, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Do you understand this? It's called true Love! Now, read Colossians 3:15-17,And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. The word says let the peace of God rule in your heart, what's in your heart? Are you thankful? Read Psalm 30:12,To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Do you see that the word from God says, to make a joyful sound. Read Psalm 95:2,Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. You must know for yourself that everything will work out for your good. If you need understanding read Psalm 23:1-6,The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. So, we know that the Lord is always with us, so give thanks, because there is nothing to hard for God, He will bring you through it. We give youThanks our Lord and Savior for loving us! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Good !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Good !

We need to get understanding first, the word from God says, in the book of Proverbs 4:7,Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Now thats a good thing, you need insight. So, that means we are lacking something.  Now, read James 1:5, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  The word tells us to Ask and Ye Shall Receive,( but)Ye Have Not, Because Ye Ask Not!! So, there is something we must do, we must ask the Father for wisdom. So,read Luke 11:9,And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Then read, John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.You, must come in Jesus's name. So, you must know Him,God does not answer the prayers of those that reject Him, also, we cannot expect God to answer prayer if, we are not doing His will. What is His will?  Lets read Matthew 6:33,But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Now it says, seek first and then, and only then, all these things will come or will be added into your life. You see every thing or person thats good comes from God. Read James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.Wow, thats powerful! It says, He (God) is the source of all good gifts. And, then read Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. You see, according to Him, read John 15:16,Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. ( It says good fruit). You have to understand that the Lord called you. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14,"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Only then!Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Vessels!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Vessels!

The most common form of vessels were cups, bowls or jugs used for storage. These are earthly vessels.  Now we have to understand the word from God talks about vessels, but He is talking from the realm of the Spirit. There were routine household vessels and there were holy vessels used in the Tabernacle and the Temple. You have to understand we are "vessels," or "temples,"of the Holy Ghost. Read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Read 2 Timothy 2:20-21 ,"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." Also read 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 ,"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." Read Ephesians 2:10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.As God's clay, how do we become willing vessels of His grace? Read Colossians 3:5, Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Also, read Luke 16:13, No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Who do you serve? You can not serve both in your vessel. God is always looking for a willing mind and a perfect heart. He wants to use those who qualify, even as He used the great men and women of the Bible. We must choose and obey, even as Solomon did when he built the temple.Read I Chronicles 28:9-10,“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.” Healing of the Spirit, Soul and Body always begin with the choice to follow Jesus and to continue to walk with Him.To receive complete wholeness, we must make a complete commitment to the Lord.Read Matthew 22:37-40,Jesus said to him, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Hand !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Hand !

We must start with 1 Peter 5:6-7,Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.Lets look at Isaiah 41:13, For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Wow,Now that means He is teaching you, He is leading you, and He is keeping you from falling. Do you understand, He is a friend forever! You see you have some work to do for the kingdom. Read Isaiah 61:1-11,The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed. I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. This is the hand (work) of God, it says,  “He has anointed me” and “He has sent me.” For the purposes for declaring the good news is for the deliverance from bondage can take place.  God’s servants are appointed by God’s Spirit to proclaim God’s message. The proclamation of the Word of God transforms the lives of those who believe; good news is that there is hope for the hopeless. The good news is that there is liberty from bondage. The good news is that there is grace for the debtor. The good news is that there is joy in place of sorrow. Read Psalm 110:1,The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Wow, it says wait for the lord to work things out for you. Now, we need to understand that everything is created by the hand of God. Read Colossians 1:16-17,For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. The Hand of God is powerful!Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Blessing !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Blessing !

First thing is, what does blessing mean? Blessing is the infusion of something with holiness, divine will, or one's hope or approval.  So, we have to understand that words have power. Read Revelation 1:3, Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. The first blessing is grace. The word means “favor done by one to another.” It is spontaneous, generous and free, there is no expectation of return. Do you not know that God sent His sinless Son Jesus to bear on His shoulders our sins to the cross and there He died in our place so that we might live through faith. Get this, He ( Jesus) did it for you and me.  Now, that is a blessing! The second blessing is mercy, now this is giving to us everyday. Read  Deuteronomy 7:12-15, Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.According to the Bible, when a nation forsakes God, God has promised to forsake that nation. Israel is the greatest example of this principle. The Bible says that when Israel turned from God, God turned from Israel. If we use the example of Israel, we can say that as long as they walked in His ways, He was with them in blessing and protection. The third blessing is peace, the word says, read John 16:33 ,These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Also read Numbers 6:24-26, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Persecute !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Persecute !

First understand that, they persecute Jesus first. Now, think for an second do you think that your greater then, The Great I AM ? No ! Now read John chapter 15, verses 18-21,it says,If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.You see this persecute is because your one of His (Jesus) sheep. It's in John 10:27-28,My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. Wow! So, whenever someone persecute you or your name, you have to know what the word from God says about your life. Read John 5:16,And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. Lets look at Acts 7: 51-52,Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers. You see, Jesus looked at the multitudes of people who were pushing and straining to follow Him and said, “Unless you carry your cross daily, you cannot follow me, you cannot be my disciple.” Jesus was saying that if you want to be my disciple, you have to be loyal to me, love me and live for me.  If, you want to be my disciple and you don’t have a clear cut loyalty to me, you are inviting ridicule upon my name. If you are planning to be my disciple without a clear cut loyalty to me and what I stand for, the outcome in your spiritual battle will be without a doubt, defeat. What does your loyalty to Jesus look like? Only you can answer that. Is it only outward? Is it only when you are with other believers ? Is it only on occasions? Is it only when you need him? Or can you say to Jesus, Lord, I want to be your disciple, you have my complete loyalty, regardless of the cost. Just pray this prayer, Psalm 31:14-17, But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.  Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Freedom !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Freedom !

As U.S. citizens we celebrate our freedom on Independence Day, thanking our founding fathers for giving us our liberty. As believers, we also celebrate our freedom in Christ and the sacrifice he made to set us free from sin and death. What does the Bible say about Freedom and Independence ? There are no verses with “Freedom” or “Independence” in them. There are 58 verses in the King James Bible, that talks about , being free or liberty. Here are two verses to look at, 1 Peter 2:15-16,For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.  Read Galatians 5:1, Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. As believers, we take so much for granted. We have freedom of speech. We have freedom to worship. We can attend the Church of our choice. God created us, he gave us freedom of choice.  We can choose to believe in him or not.  There is no gray area. When we continue to make bad choices or do evil against others, we choose to walk in the flesh.  But when we live for God, we become free from sin and our Spirit is renewed, by the Spirit of God. It says in the Bible, “For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of the Spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” It is the freedom that comes with being a disciple of Jesus Christ. “If you abide in my word,” our Lord declares, “you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”In the book of Exodus, God chose Moses to lead the Israel people out of Egypt as slaves of Pharaoh.  They had been slaves for hundreds of years and wanted to be set free.  God heard them and decided to answer their prayers. Read Exodus 6:6-7 it says, Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the LORD; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. We are free to praise you, Lord . For this I am very thankful ! We need to remind ourself of who have made the greatest sacrificed for our freedom, who is Jesus Christ. Speak to yorself, lets not take our freedom, both physical and spiritual, for granted. You see  Satan's job is to keep us enslaved, by not knowing the truth, we can receive through Jesus Christ. You must believe in Jesus, and know in your heart for yourself that, He has set you free. Jesus knew the whole truth.  He was speaking and doing the will of His Father, and yet His words only set those free who were ready to be set free. So, the word from God tells us that, Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Read Colossians 1:13-14,He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fire !

Happy 4th of July!
The word for today is - Fire !

You see, Jeremiah was called by God to be a Prophet to Judah, Jeremiah said, it's like fire shut up in my bones. You see this fire came by the direction of the Lord, it was sent from above, from heaven by God,"he rules over it"and "directs it". Now, that is powerful! That is the power of God!!! Read Jeremiah 1:4-5, Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Now, read Jeremiah 20:9,Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing (of holding back) , and I could not stay ( this means endure it) . And Jeremiah 20:10,For I heard the defaming (mocking or slander) of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. Now, Jeremiah 20:11, But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.   You have to understand this fire, it's "A Burning Fire"  it is the word of God and the Holy Ghost like a burning fire in your sanctified Soul, Heart, Mind and body. Wow! Now, Jeremiah cried out with Praise, unburdening his heart to God. He had faithfully proclaimed God's Word and had received nothing in return but persecution and sorrow. Yet when he withheld God's Word for a while, it became fire in his bones until he could hold it back no longer. When God's living message of love, salvation and forgiveness becomes fire in your bones, you also will feel compelled to share it with others, regardless of the results. You must do the will of God (speak His word) and know that the Lord is with me and you; this was the promise of God to this prophet Jeremiah. So, now read Luke 9:23-26, it says,And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. You never have to be ashamed of what you do for Christ. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Faith!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Faith!

Lets talk this morning about our faith walk. The word from God say, we must have faith in order to please God. Read Hebrews 11:6,But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.To know and experience what faith is and does, we must know and have faith: loyalty, belief and trust in God, now that's the key in your faith walk. It says with out it, it's impossible to please Him! So, without "confidence" in God, He cannot be pleased with the man who has no confidence in him; who doubts the truth of his declarations and promises; who does not believe that his ways are right, or that he is qualified to order your footsteps. This means that mankind thinks, that they have greater or more power then God. Wrong!!!!  Now, lets dig a little, if your Heavenly Father tells you something to do, but you believe you can do it better your way, then your out of the will of God. You see the will of God is doing it God's way only, now that's walking by faith not by sight. Can you identify yourself with those who are blind. It is so unnatural for us to walk without looking where we are going, yet that is precisely what Paul says we believers must do.  Read 2 Corinthians 5:7,"We walk by Faith, not by Sight."  Now,this principle has several applications. You see, those who "walk by sight" depend for authority upon what they experience, from man. But,those who "walk by faith" confide in revelation for authority, this means our faith and the revelation of God's word is the only way for the believers to walk as Scripture directs us.The problem is that the eyes of man are never satisfied read Proverbs 27:20,it says Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. The pursuit of wealth eventually becomes an obsession, a god read Matthew 6:24; Colossians 3:5, and man never reaches the point where he has enough. You see most people in this world are far more concerned with accumulating wealth than they are serving God. Read Deuteronomy 6:5, And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. It says with all your heart, this means Lord your my first love, your the first (in the morning, thanks for this day) and the last thing on our minds (thanks for seeing us through this day,at night). Also, the bible tells us, Either we will hate one and love the other. Read Matthew 6:24,No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Paul was no foolish visionary. With grim realism, he came to grips with all he had suffered read 2 Corinthians 11:24-28. But the reason he did not despair is found in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18,For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Paul was hopeful in the face of suffering because his sights were set on heaven, not on this world. So, read 1 John 1:6-7,If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. That means it is done, by the blood of Jesus, so walk by the light of Jesus Christ. Have no fear, for He is your light. Thank you God for your word. Amen !
