The word for today is - Timing!

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Timing!

God's timing is just as important as God's will. In fact, the Bible talks a lot about timing. We must start by agreeing with Solomon (the author of the book of Ecclesiastes) that everything in life has a proper time and season. Read Ecclesiastes 3:1 it says, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."Timing” is defined as the ability to perform movements and actions at the most effective moment. Look at Ecclesiastes 8:5 it says, Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.“ Because to every purpose there is time and judgment...” It’s not enough to know what to do; you also need to know “when to do it” and “how to get it done.” If you get anyone of those three concepts wrong (the what, the when, and the how) you stand the risk of interfering with God’s perfect plan for your life and living out of balance. Now the bible tells us that a wise man will not move before He knows he will seek to understand the right season and the proper timing. Lets read Psalms 1:3,it tells us that a “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."A “blessed” man prospers in everything that he does because he has learned to flow with the seasons that have been uniquely designed for his life. Therefore, it is of vital importance that each one of us recognizes that we all have “due” seasons in the Spirit; and, if we act accordingly, we will reap a harvest of blessing. And everything we put our hands to,  will prosper. The question is can you miss God's timing? Yes !  The Bible says that Abraham and Sarah could have missed their season of blessing by being mindful of their past. By, not moving forward! An undisciplined and wandering mind will prevent you from flowing with the seasons of the Spirit. Timing is everything when it comes to following the Lord. Every Word of God has a unique season tied to it’s fulfillment. And nothing can stop God’s Word from coming to pass in it’s season. Now lets look at the word from the Lord, read Psalms 31:15 it says, “My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me." We need the Lord all the time, every hour of every day. Why? Because we are in the end times we know that according to prophecy it will be a time of great tribulation and trouble. Read 2 Timothy 3:1 it says, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.." One of the greatest fears people are fighting at this time is fear of financial loss and fear of the future since many of the prophets of God are declaring times of trouble and tribulation in the world. The Lord know the hour we would be living in and we can rest assured He has a plan of protection and provision for all that believe in Him. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Pray !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Pray !

Lets look at Romans 8:26-27,Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Now the bible tells us to pray for one another always. Also lets read about a rich and a poor man in Luke 16:19-25,There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.  Wow, did you get that? The rich man look good in His own eye sight, but not  in God's eye's. You see it's not in your big house or the car you drive, or how much money you have in your bank account, it's all about your Spirit, now the poor man was rich in Spirit. This is greater then anything else, having the Spirit of love.  Amen ! Read Ephesians 6:18,Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. It says, praying always first, then always pray in the Spirit by God's word, pray for all the saints. It says all! We all need prayer. We must bear one another’s burdens as we see these pressures escalating. We can and must do it by regular, specific prayer. So much of our praying is limited to just, “Lord, bless..,” or, “Lord, meet the need of ...” We are admonished in Galatians 6:2 to bear one another’s burdens. Some burdens are too heavy to be borne alone. We need others to pray for us and with us. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Entangled !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Entangled !

Now what does entangled mean? The meanning is: Twisted together; interwoven in a confused manner; intricate; perplexed; involved; embarrassed; insnared. The brief story of Cain reveals several of his character weaknesses. When Cain faced disappointment, rather than turning to God for encouragement, he responded with anger and jealousy. When given a clear choice to correct his mistake, Cain chose to disobey and further entangle himself. He let sin become his master and committed murder. God always offers us a choice, a way of escape and an opportunity to make things right. God warned Cain that sin was crouching at his door, ready to destroy him. God continues to warn his children always. Now we know that, we live in a world full of suffering, pain, and sorrow, but the question is why?  We always asking, "why God have you done this or that"? When hearing bad news we broke down and cried: "God, why did you let this happen to me"? "Why do bad things happen to good people"? That is one of the most puzzling questions of all for mankind. Maybe it is the hardest question of life. How is it that a God who loves us so much would allow suffering to come into our life. We must remember that suffering does not defeat or thwart the purposes of God. Hold on to Romans 8:28," And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". Tragedy, disaster, sorrow, and calamity do not frustrate God's purposes. Our problem is that we look at things from the wrong side. God did not send Paul's "thorn in the flesh,"Satan did,  but God used it for Paul's good.  Paul was a better man because of it. No matter what happens, God has arrange matters so that it fits into His plan.  Since, God knows the end from the beginning, read Isaiah 46:10,Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. We can trust Him in all things, even those which we cannot understand. Read John:13:7, "Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter." God has a purpose and plan in regard to human affairs. Just know that I AM God, I have a plan! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Build-Up !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Build-Up !

Lets start with Ephesians 4:29,Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Paul gave a good guideline when he wrote that everything we say should build up the one or ones who is listening. The book of Proverbs sums up the impact encouraging words read Proverbs chapter 18, verses 20- 21, "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Your words have an impact on ours life.  Lets follow God's example, Be an encourager! Life is full of problems, and we need to deal with them, but God has giving us a way out. Look to Jesus, when we wake up in the morning, we should be asking God to help us to look for and focus on the positive side of life. The positive side is He woke us up this morning, and gave as brand new mercy for this day. So,lets read Romans 14:19, Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Choose to specialize in encouraging words. Read Proverbs 10:11, The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Speak life! Look at Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things Always, talk about the good things in life. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Endure !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Endure !

Now lets look at Isaiah 26:8,Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. Some believers have caused themselves great harm because they were not willing to wait upon the Lord Jesus Christ. That is one of the reasons that Jesus said, “He that endureth to the end shall be saved.” There are some things that we must endure for a while until God brings us out from under them.Read Acts 4:9-13,If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Look at Acts 10:42-43,And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive life. The Bible says in Isaiah 26:3-4, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.” Now, read Isaiah 26:3, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. It's a great verse to memorize, it's talking about the peace that a believer can have in his heart day in and day out on this earth. Jesus did say to His believers in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." You are saved by His grace,Amen ! Read Isaiah 26:3 talks about the life of faith. It is a verse of the Bible that tells us one of the benefits of trusting in God, and it explains an important piece of information about what it means to trust in God. One of the benefits is “peace.” There are many people in the world who do not have peace. Money cannot buy peace of mind or peace of heart. One of the reasons that people have no peace is because of worry and fear. Another reason is because of wickedness. The Bible says in Psalms 10:4, “The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.” It also says in Isaiah 48:22, “There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked. The first spiritual principle necessary to understand in order to have peace in your heart is to recognize the truth that you must first turn to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Only then will you obtain peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Romans 5:1,“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. The word tells us that the steadfast mind, He ( Jesus)will keep in perfect peace. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Yoke !

The word for today is - Yoke !

Let's read Deuteronomy28: 1-4, And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. Jesus has set us free from the yoke, we just need to come to him and cast our heavy burden on him. And he will give the rest for our souls. When he said his Yoke was Easy and his Burden Light? Yes, it's from everything that is heavy. The good news is that Jesus promises to all that come to him that he will give them rest. Rest from what? Rest from the heavy burden of trying to earn one’s way into heaven. Rest from the oppressive yoke of self-righteousness and legalism. Jesus encourages those who are “heavy laden” to take his yoke upon them and in so doing they will find rest for their souls. The yoke of Jesus is the yoke of repentance and faith followed by a singular commitment to follow him. As the Apostle John says, “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome” read 1 John chapter 5. What makes Jesus’ yoke easy and his burden light is that in Jesus’ active obedience ( his perfect fulfillment of the Law of God), he carried the burden that we were meant to carry. His perfect obedience is applied (imputed) to us through faith. Our obedience to Jesus then becomes our “spiritual worship.” Furthermore, we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit who works in our lives to make us into the image of Christ, if this doesn’t make the yoke of Jesus easy and his burden light, I don’t know what else does. The life lived by faith is a much lighter yoke, a much easier burden, to carry than the heavy and burdensome yoke of self-righteousness. Jesus thanks God our Father for hiding these things from the way of the worldly ways of seeing and thinking, that may seem like an odd thing to be thankful for; especially seeing as Jesus came to “seek and save the lost” read Luke chapter19. It’s almost as if Jesus is ok with people remaining lost. Not true, the bible reveals God's plan is to reconcile all things to himself and to bring all things together in unity under one head, the God Head. Furthermore, the bible says God desires and will is for all people to be saved, and the bible also says God does everything He desires and His will shall not be thwarted. You have to understand this first,He doesn't force anyone to spend eternity with Him. So, all must freely make the choice to seek after Him or reject Him.Now, He knows your choice before you make it. God wants all people to be saved and none to perish. Read Matthew 26:52,Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? Also read, Matthew 11:28-30,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Because Israel would not serve God, He judged them and they became slaves to men. God brought them into having the yoke of slavery on them again. They would then be obligated to serve their enemies in hunger, and thirst, and nakedness, wearing an iron yoke” read Deuteronomy 28:48-51, Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Happy!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Happy!

The first question is this, how can anyone be happy? Lets see what the word from God says about being happy, read Romans8:1-2, it says, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Now, that's powerful it says, who walk not according to the flesh ,but according to the Spirit. The next question for some people is where does this power come from? It comes from God, through His Son Jesus, Who died for us and left us a comforter which is the Holy Spirit. Now, get this God has done what the law of weakened by the flesh, could not do.How, by sending his own Son .Read Romans 3-16,For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. With all that said, we do not live according to the flesh, we live according to the word by the Spirit of God. Read Romans 8 verse 30-31, it says, Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? This is called God's Everlasting Love, So why are you sad? The word tells us we are loved by Christ Jesus, nothing can separate us from God's love. Read Romans 8:35-39,Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. God's word tells us to be happy read John 3:16,For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Wow, He says believe my word. Then He says in John 16:33,These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Did you get that? He says again I spoken unto you ( my word) be of good cheer (Be Happy). Then, He also tells us in Titus 1:2,"God cannot lie.” It is saying My Word is true! Also, read Isaiah 46:11,“Yes, I have spoken it. I will also bring it to Pass. I have purposed it. I will also do it.” You must get this, His word, read Ezekiel 12:25,“I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass". Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The words for today is- Almighty!

Good morning,
The words for today is- Almighty!

Lets look at the three O"s. The question? is God Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient? Yes! Now what does this mean, it means that God is" everywhere and having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or understanding; perceiving all things.” It is God who ultimately reigns in the universe, and all legitimate authority must derive from Him. The word says clearly that “with God all things are possible”, Matthew 19:26.Ask yourself,is there any physical location in this universe where we can hide from the presence of God?  According to Scripture, No!Lets read Psalm 139:7–10, about King David "s question directly, asking Jesus, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell [the grave], behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me”. Did you get that? You can hide from people, but the almighty one you can not. There is no place where you can hide from His presence. Now,the most troublesome of the “Three ‘O’s is  His omniscience. Is God omniscient? Yes! The Bible tells us that God does perceive all things, which means that no fact can be hidden from His knowledge. As King David recognized: “Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You” read Psalm 139:12. God sees all things, and nothing can be hidden from His knowledge, not even the secret intentions of the heart, Psalm 44:21. In fact, He understands our own intentions better than we do ,Jeremiah 17:9-10; Hebrews 4:12! As Paul explains, “there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account”,Hebrews 4:13. Now as Human beings, there are limits to what the senses let us perceive and understand. But God’s senses are not limited like ours! His Spirit searches all things, 1 Corinthians 2:10, and nothing is beyond God’s ability to perceive it. In this sense, He is omniscient. Nothing can escape His gaze and His knowledge. If it can be known, He knows it! Now, God tells us in His word, “Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, "My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure",Isaiah 46:9–10. As we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, let us be motivated by our high calling and our ultimate destiny! We should never forget that God has called us to become His sons and daughters, to share His level of existence with us for all eternity. A mystery that is difficult for humans to understand. By the word of His mouth, God created all that we see and all that is. Who can hide from or question the One who made him? No one! Who is equal to God? No one! Not one, He is almighty by Himself! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Walk !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Walk !

Lets start today by asking God to touch us with His Spirit. As we go through this day we need the touch of Jesus, why? because the evil one is and will be testing us all day long. Amen ! What do you need ? you will need the Spirit of God. Read Galatians 5:16, This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. This means you will not have the  desires of the flesh. Now read a little more Galatians 5:17-25,For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Read that again, the Spirit of God is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance. How about putting on the Spirit of God when you get dress this morning. Now the word from the Lord tells us, let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Read Colossians 3:16,Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Now, He (Jesus) knows your heart! Are you thankful? for all that the Lord has done for you? Do you not know that God the Father of your life is the light of your life. Read Psalm 119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.Read Ephesians 1:17,That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: It's time to pray, pray that God may give you his Holy Spirit, by whom his will is revealed to you, that he may teach and make you wise unto salvation, that you may continue to acknowledge him, Christ Jesus, as your only Lord and Savior. It's the word of God that we need in our daily walk. Read Matthew 4:4,But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Washing !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Washing !
Lets start with Acts 2:38, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is a gift from God, now think about that ? It's the greatest gift of all !!!! The question is this, do you want it? The word from God tells us in John 3:3,Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. He can not come in ! Now, let's look at the foot washing ceremony, recorded in John chapter 13, it allows us a window into the character of our Savior. So,read John chapter 13, as you read it you will notice that Christ performs a menial task generally done by the lowliest servant in the household. Did you get that? The question is, did Jesus want to be served or to serve? How can we demonstrate love for God? Our love for God will be expressed in our love for others. Read 2 Corinthians 4:5, For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. Also understand that Servanthood is an attitude exemplified by Christ read,Philippians 2:6-7,Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: How does Jesus approached His relationship with God the Father. He was always submissive to the Father in everything. Beyond this, God the Father is the greatest servant in the universe. In the thirteenth chapter of his gospel John , the apostle John records a ceremony that Christ performed and instituted on the very last night of His life. It may at first seem strange that the other three gospel writers did not address this act at all. We must remember that John, as the last of the gospel writers, fills in some of Jesus' acts and statements that the others left out of their gospels. Who better to describe it than "the disciple whom Jesus loved," John! So, lets read about Peter's reaction, "Master, You shouldn't be washing our feet like this! Jesus answered and said unto him," What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter". (verse 7 in John 13). Then"Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.( verse 8 in John 13). We need to understand that Jesus shows us by His actions, He made it very clear that He would not expect anything from us that He was not willing to do Himself. The common explanation for this is that it teaches us to learn humility by doing good for others, by doing acts of service or kindness for our brethren. This is certainly a good lesson for the believers. Now understand that we are saved by grace read Ephesians 2:8-10, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Therefore, the command of Mathew 28:19 effectively declares that we are to teach the Word of God so that through the Word there will be those who will be baptized (that is, their sins will be washed away). Additionally, this very significant verse teaches that those who become saved are washed into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. God is teaching that salvation brings us into a most intimate union with God in every aspect of His being. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Humble !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Humble !

Let's look at the word from God in Exodus 20:12, Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Now, this commandment is mentioned not once, not twice, but a total of eight times in the Bible, twice in the Old Testament and six times in the New Testament. The commandment itself is repeated. The word don't say  to honor if he did an outstanding job as a dad or a bad job as a dad. It just says "Honor your father and your mother." So, go humble yourself before your heavenly father first, and tell him you're sorry for your bad attitude, then go humble yourself an ask your earthly father to forgive you. There is Only One  perfect Father, our Heavenly Father!  Some people need to start today by humbling themself with your parents, then somethings may turn around someday. We have to have a desire to love, to forgive, to honor, and to respect one another. Now, what does humble mean? it means, not proud or haughty : not arrogant or assertive : reflecting, expressing, or offered in a spirit of deference or submission.Learning to be humble is of paramount importance in most religions and spiritual traditions, and humility can also help you develop as a person and enjoy richer relationships with others. The bible tells the believers, we are taught that we should live just as Jesus Himself lived. Jesus's life on earth began humbly, in a stable in Bethlehem. In Matthew 11:29, Jesus says, "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek(gentle) and lowly(humble) in heart." He goes on to say that "ye shall find rest unto your souls" by doing this. Most importantly, Jesus humbled himself to the will of his Father. Every time you say the Lord's Prayer, which Jesus taught us, you humble yourself before God ("Thy will be done") that's the will of God in your Spirit.  Jesus humbled himself again in the Garden of Gethsemane, when he again submitted to the will of the Father. As Phillipians 2:8 states, "And being found in fashion as a man,he humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross." In short, Christ is the ultimate example of a person being humble. The Bible is very straightforward when discussing those who are filled with pride.Read Proverbs 3:34, which states that " Surely he (God) scorneth the scorners: but  he giveth  grace unto the lowly (humble)." Proverbs 16:18 goes even more in depth, saying that "Pride goeth before destruction; an a haughty spirit before a fall (stumbling). Are you being obedient, by being humble to others.Read 1 Peter it tells us to, "humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may life you up in due time." Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Father !

Good morning,Happy Father's Day to all the Father's!
The word for today is - Father !

Let me start with saying, Happy Father's Day to our Heavenly Father!  He is the great I AM! Amen ! Now lets read Psalm 103:13,Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.You see,God often compares himself with a father, and it is by carrying out our ideas of what enters into the parental character that we get our best conceptions of the character of God. So, a father should not allow your emotions to hinder your ability to properly love your children. They should not have to seek out love in all the wrong places, or feel there is something missing in their lives because they lack your love. You have to understand that a father's love is always willing to do good for His children. Lets read about the Lost Son in Luke 15:11-30,And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. Did you get that? Everything that the Father had was and is the Son's. It's the same thing for the believers everything that our Heavenly Father has is ours.We were by nature the children of wrath, but God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love, he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace we are saved . Now, lets look at the lost sheep, what a father should do!  Read Luke 15:1-7,Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Now that is true love from our Heavenly Father, He will find His sheep. What great love is this, that Jesus layed down His life for us. Then, He says I am always with thy, just pray to me. The Savior again counseled man on how to pray",Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name".“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.....etc.We should pray to our Father in Heaven with a hallowed heart; we should pray for his kingdom to come, and by so we commit ourselves to help build the kingdom of God on this earth.Thank you our Heavenly Father for loving us so. Thank you Lord for your word, Amen !

The word for today is - Loyalty !

Good mornring,
The word for today is - Loyalty !

Read 1 John 2:27, But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. This anointing comes from God, man didn't give it and man can not take it away. Thank you Holy Spirit! Let's read a little about the story of Ruth, this book of the bible has blessed me, it talks about love, loyalty, and walking in oneness, One Spirit (the Spirit of God). First read Ruth 1:1,Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons. Then the sons later had wives. Let's look at Ruth's Loyalty to Naomi, the husband of Naomi died, and she was left with her two sons, Mahlon and Chilion, and two daughter-in-laws, Orpah and Ruth, then her two sons died. Naomi said to her two daughter-in-laws, Go, she says, may the Lord be kind to you and give you rest, then she says, return to your people, she is crying. Orpah kissed her mother-in-law,and went back to her people and to her gods.  But Ruth says chapter 1:16, And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Think about that, what Spirit do you know is always with us? What Spirit do you follow? Now, something is going on in Ruth, she says, Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. The book of Ruth is a part of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven. An inconspicuous believer- a peasant woman, a convert like Ruth can achieve the status of royalty. God allows strange circumstances and a resolute obedience of faith combine to make Ruth the great-grandmother of Israel's famous king David. Ruth thus becomes an ancestress to the king of kings. The anointing is the Holy Spirit, and He  is the Spirit of Truth and anyone who has the Spirit of Truth will never run away from God, but always moving forward to meet Him (God). Now, that's Loyalty! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Armor !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Armor !

God has reveal everything to the believers. God's revelation of all that He is to us, all that He has done for us, and all that He promises to do for us in the days ahead. This wonderful, everlasting truth is written in the Bible, it's revealed by the Holy Spirit, and realized through Jesus Christ. Read Hebrews 4:16 ,Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy (compassion), and find grace to help in time of need. Let's start with Philippians 4:6-7,Do not worry about anything; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. So, read Ephesians 6:10-18, "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one."And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.  Then pray in the Spirit on all occasions and may your request known to God. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. To the Christian armed for defense in battle, the apostle recommends only one weapon of attack; but it is enough, the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. It subdues and mortifies evil desires and blasphemous thoughts as they rise within; and answers unbelief and error as they assault from without. Dressed in this armor daily, we are prepared to enter the world. Think about each piece as you put it on. So, hold up the sword of the spirit, the Word of God and go. Thank God for supplying us with His armor to protect us. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Labor !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Labor !

Now read 1 Corinthians 15:58,Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. The Lord tells us to teach one way, His way only. Read Titus 2:1-2,But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine. That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. We have to understand that, we have work to do. The bible tells us that there is great work to be done, read Luke 10.2,“The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. ” Now, lets look at if you follow Jesus, you have to do something.  What must I do? It's in Matthew 16.24-25,If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it”. Even if we are driven by the Holy Spirit to further God's Kingdom on earth, we still have to struggle to achieve our spiritual goals at the expense of our worldy ones. Spiritual work requires the dedication and sacrifice of our time and efforts away from worldy pursuits. We need to understand what the bible means when it says that we are saved by faith and not by works. Faith in Christ is the foundation and root through which eternal life springs, read John 3.15 , “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” there is no inherent righteousness or purity in man through which he can earn redemption. It is only by God’s grace that the slate can be wiped clean, and one can become a new creature in Christ, having a true relationship with the Lord. Read Ephesians 2.8-9 ,“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches. Unless we are connected to the vine through faith, we can’t bear any useful fruit. However, Jesus also tells us that the fruitless branches are taken away, so that they wither and die apart from the vine. So we must push forward in faith. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Leader !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Leader !

As a pastor, or leader of a ministry you know what the Bible has to say about leadership.Let's start with learning the essence of good leadership. The first thing is in 1 Corinthians chapter 11, the order from God, who is always first.  Read 1 Corinthians 11:1-16, Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. That's the order from God,if you do anything other then follow this order, your out of the order of God. It's the word. Let's read 1 Timothy 4:12,Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. The word tells us to be an example of the word of God. Now let's read Ezekiel 34: 1- 31, And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them. Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats. Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet. Therefore thus saith the Lord God unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad; Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it. And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God. And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God. Now, let's look at verses 22-23,Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. This is the work of the Lord , He is the one who sets up the leaders, now good leaders must be followers of Christ. Qualities Of A Good Leader it's in Psalm 27:1,The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? You must know that everything comes from the Lord first, it's nothing that you did, it's giving to you from God.The Lord is your strength in him you must trust only. Now read John 14:27,Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Wow! God tells us that, everything He gives is not of this world.  Amen ! Now that's awesome to me, that means if's Spiritual and man can not take it away from you. When we give Jesus Christ His rightful place as Lord of our lives, His lordship will be expressed in the way we serve others .True leadership is servanthood, and the greatest leader of all time is Jesus Christ. The great, I AM is the greatest ,the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” read Mark 10:45. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Judge !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Judge !

Let's start with who should Judge you. Too often we hear believers and unbelievers say, "Judge not" then they say, I don’t want to judge anybody, but..." The Lord tells us to judge not, and He also says judge righteously? Scripture clearly states that some form of judgement is not just acceptable, but necessary because Jesus says that we are to judge righteously. That being the case, it seem important for us to study scripture further to better understand under what conditions we are to judge and what if any situations exist where we are not judge..  Let's look at Matthew 7:1-5,Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.  We are to judge righteously. Jesus commands in John 7:24, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."Judge by the Word of God and Its principles, not by someone’s skin color, whether they are tall or short (inherited physical traits), etc. You may also misjudge a situation because it may "appear" to be different than what it is; for example, you may not have all the details of a situation to make a righteous judgment. If you must err, it is best to err towards mercy... give someone the benefit of the doubt. We are to judge without hypocrisy. "And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?" Romans 2:3,Judge yourself first to see if you are guilty of that sin. Live what you preach. Only after you get your life cleaned up by turning from your own sins and receiving pardon through repentance and faith in Jesus (i.e. you get saved) you can go and help others to be saved too. If your life has been transformed by the love of Christ, by all means, go and help your brother. Now, let's read 1 Corinthians chapter 4: 1- 21,Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness? Did you get that?  but he that judgeth me is the Lord, no one can judge but the Lord. I do not write these things to make anyone ashamed, but to give understaning.  Now understand this you are chosen by God. Read1 Peter 2:9,But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Read Proverbs 16:21,The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. Remember to always bring everything back to the Bible and in a Spirit of Love.  So, you could always speak in truth and Love, that is the Spirit of God! Thank you Lord for always seeing the best in me. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Resist!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Resist !

Now, let's start with some people in the Bible that didn't resist the devil, Eve ate forbidden fruit, Abraham lies about Sarah, that displeased God, there are many more. Everybody has impure thoughts of one type or another. That's part of being alive, ( flesh). Having an impure thought come into your mind is not a sin by itself; choosing to entertain the thought is a sin. The key is not to allow yourself to consider or dwell on anything God would not want you to do. Don't allow yourself to think about sinning or ways you could go about sinning. Read Romans 13:14, But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.  Now, read verse 13:13, Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. This means,Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. To resist temptation, we must first know what temptation is.  Temptation starts with a harmless thought or desire that entices us to do something that we are not supposed to do. Next the initial thought is then entertained and explored.   And then after entertaining the thought, we commit the act of sin to fulfill our cravings and desires.  We also entertain tempting thoughts so that we can justify or rationalize committing the sinful act. Once you identify what motivates you to sin, pray about it, talk to the Lord. Also ask him to help you resist and reject these thoughts. Resist it with God's help. For example, if you feel unloved, pray to enjoy God’s love instead of looking for love in someone or something, the fulfillment is in Christ Jesus. Amen ! We have a way out, how? By asking the Lord for help, he said in His word that He is our helper in the time of trouble, He is the way and the truth.Take a few minutes to ask God to reveal any areas in your life that need to change. You can resist the devil's ways, how? by keeping your mind stay of Him (the Lord), not on a man, a woman or anything of this world ! The Bible tells us to aim for perfection read 2 Corinthians 13:11, Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. You have to have oneness in the Spirit, how? with Jesus! This way being, with God your complete! However, we all come short, and God's Word encourages us not to give up! When we ask the Lord to help us, he does. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Less !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Less !

The question is this? How can I become more like Christ? First, you need to know who Christ is?  We can not grow like someone we don’t know. God's desire for all who know Him is for us to become more like Him. Then, we will make more room for Christ to come into our lifes. We do this by first growing in our knowledge of Christ. The knowledge we gain from God’s Word must impact our hearts and convict us of the need to obey what we have learned.Let's look at the book of John chapter 3, Jesus says in this chapter. His explanation to Nicodemus was so clear, and concise. He explains everything out clearly to Nicodemus, and leaves him without questions. Nicodemus is confused about being born again, and Jesus clearly tells him what it's all about, which is of the Spirit. We must truly learn to die to “self” more and more, day by day. Read John 3: 30, "He must increase, but I must decrease"."He must become greater; I must become less."God is the God  of more then enough. With God, we will never be in need.Read Psalm 23:1,The Lord is my  Shepherd, I shall not want. May there be more of Him , and less of me ( you can put your name there). Amen! The only way we can become more like Jesus is to surrender our whole being to him in complete, unreserved trust, and ask him to do a major makeover on us. As he removes those impurities in our character, we come closer and closer to the real us, the person God has always wanted us to be.We grow in our knowledge of God by reading the Bible daily, studying it, and being obedient to what it says. Now, Luke sums it up best when he describes what Jesus told His disciples, now this is Jesus talking. Read Luke 9:23-24,And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. The key is in John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Test !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Test !

Now, let's look at the word from God in Deuteronomy 6:16, Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah. This is telling us do not test the Lord. Now, lets look at the test of Jesus it's in Matthew. You can read Matthew chapter 4:1-11, and you will see that the devil tested Jesus, it says, Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Go back and read that again, look at verse7,it means,Jesus said to him, Again it is written,You shall not  put the Lord your God to the test. Now look at verses 10-11,Jesus says to Satan, Be gone,Satan! For it is written,You shall worship the Lord your God and him only, shall you serve. Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him. Now think about that, if Jesus was tested by Satan, do you think he is going to test you also? Jesus has giving us away out, His word, read Psalm 23: 1-6, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Do you want to past the test? If so, study my word said the Lord, read Psalm 32:8,I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Now that is awesome, to know that the Lord will guide thee, so that you can past with an A+! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Timing !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Timing !

Read Hebrews 6:12,That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. How about this, when God makes us wait for something or an answer, what do we do?  When one is under pressure, it is hard to remember that for God, a day is like a thousand years. Well, we are in 2011, so that means it's only 2 days for God. It is also easy to shake our heads when we read of believers in the Bible not being patient enough to wait for God's deliverance. When the heat is turned up, a day can seem like a thousand years, and we can find ourself tempted to say or ask, "How long, O Lord?" The Bible talks about a man of God who had really bad timing. Who is this man? Moses ! Although Moses was one of the greatest men of God, he also was a man who had some serious setbacks and committed sin. Moses is one of the men God used who actually was guilty of murder. First, he was the baby protected by God and adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. That means that,he was being raised as royalty, Moses' heart was in the right place, but his actions were foolish. You have to understand that, God wants us to do His will in His way in His timing. You see sometimes, we have to wait on God's timing.  Moses was a leader in training, but he wasn't ready yet. He had lost his people. He had lost his reputation. The key is this, but he had not lost God. What looked like the end was actually the beginning. Understand that, God still uses ordinary people, rich or poor today, even people who have made mistakes. God can still, and will use you. He gives second chances. Maybe you need one today, ask God for another chance to get right with Him. Look what He did for Moses, Forty years later, God appointed Moses to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. What Moses did not realize was that God had been preparing him during that time. How long? Forty years later! Now read Exodus 3:6, Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. Why? What was God saying? I am the God of ordinary men who have accomplished some extraordinary things. There is hope for you. I am not just the God of Abraham. I am not just the God of Isaac and Jacob. I am the God of Moses. I am calling you ( put your name there). I am giving you a second chance. Now, God's timing is in Isaiah 40:31,But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Help us Holy Spirit, read 2 Corinthians 12:9, And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. It's not about your timing, it's always about the Lord's timing. He is an on time God! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Wounded !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Wounded  !

The death of Jesus Christ was the most horrible death ever experienced.  Read Isaiah 53:5 , "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Now, read 1 Peter 2:24, it gives us this truth about the wounds of Jesus which He took on Calvary for man: "Who His own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." Also read Isaiah 52:14 it states, "As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:" Jesus not only died for the sin of the world, He was brutally wounded on Calvary. Jesus took piercing in every area of His body that relates to the sin of man. We thank you! Let's look at Luke 23:34,Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.Jesus Himself said that a certain amount of tribulation and persecution would always come our way in this life. This is why the Bible tells us that we have to learn how to become good soldiers of Jesus Christ and learn how to put on the Full Armor of God. You can choose to rise up and make a fresh start with the Lord by choosing to fully surrender your entire life into His hands, then into the divine destiny that He has already planned out for you before you were even born into this world. Read Matthew 5:44-45, But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. He was wounded for us,He showed us true love. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Overcomers !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Overcomers !

Sometimes we are afraid, sometimes this “spirit of fear” overcomes us, and to overcome it we need to trust in and love God completely. No one is perfect, and God knows this. That is why He has liberally sprinkled encouragement against fear throughout the Bible. Beginning in the book of Genesis and continuing throughout the book of Revelation, God reminds us to “Fear not.” The only fear that we should have is the fear of the Lord. Now,The fear of the Lord is a total acknowledgement of who God is, which comes through knowing Him and His attributes. What can man do to me? This is an awesome testimony to the power of trusting in God. Regardless of what happens, we must trust in God . We must get in a place with God to know and understand the power of God. The key to overcoming fear, then is total and complete trust in God. Once we have learned to put our trust in God, we will no longer be afraid of the things that come against us. Read Romans 8:15, For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. We are overcomers !  Let’s being with an example from the story of David and Goliath, found in 1 Samuel 17:9, “If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.These are bold words David is speaking. The scriptures don’t record whether King Saul knew David was going to make such a bold statement.  He was not fighting this battle in his own strength, ( the power of God), he knew in his heart that God would give him the victory. As you fight the good fight , you got to know that God will give you the victory. God will protect you. Read Jeremiah 1:19, And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee. Now read Matthew 16:18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell  shall not prevail against it. ” Do you not know who you are? Your an overcomer! Now read 1 John 5:4,For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Now this is the outcome, read Isaiah 55:8-13, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Tree!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Tree !

Let's look at the first tree in the Bible, in Genesis 2:7-9, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Now, read Genesis 2:15, And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Adam was told not to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but he could eat freely of the fruit of any of the other trees. Adam had free choice to eat whatever other fruit he wanted and when he wanted to eat it. Adam had many other free choices as well. Adam was created to make free choices under God’s sovereign rule. Free choice does not mean that God allows us to do whatever we freely choose without him intervening nor does it mean that God allows us to do whatever we choose without consequences. God allows human beings free choice in many areas. Since he is in eternity and knows all things, he sees everything that we are going to freely choose. Now, let's look at what took place in the garden, there was an serpent in the garden. Read Genesis 3:1-14, Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: The first thing we must realize is that God gave Adam both a free will and the free choice to choose to live within the boundaries that God had set or not to. God did not control Adam’s will. Adam was to free to choose to eat of any of the other trees, but not the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God would not prevent Adam from exercising his freedom to freely follow God or not to follow him. Under God’s sovereign rule and within his sovereign will, he allows man to make free choices. Learning the wisdom of the Bible helps us discern good from evil and good teachings from evil teachings. Even when evil teachings are disguised as good, and argued shrewdly, we will not be easily fooled. There is no better application for the wisdom of the Bible than to be able to distinguish good from evil, and to practice good in our own lives. Read Proverbs 2:1-11,My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:The wisdom and knowledge of the Bible is a solid foundation on which we can base our attitudes and actions on. It is the key to making the best choices throughout our lives. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Communication !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Communication !

Can you talk to others or can other people talk to you? Have you ever ask yourself why not?  In order to fully understand God’s communication with us, we must be diligent to read, study, memorize and meditate on His Word. Communication is the key that unlocks the door to all things, this is how others can know what is in your heart. Let's read Proverbs 13:17, A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.Trying to over look this process by seeking extra-biblical revelations or “hearing” God’s voice is not only unscriptural, but opens us up to the deception of our own fallen nature, read Jeremiah 17:9,The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Also, read Proverbs 3:5, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. Why, because the Holy Spirit is the one that communicates for us. It's the Spirit that communicates with the Father on our behalf, interceding and praying for us before the throne, especially when we are weary and downhearted and unable to pray for ourselves. Look at Amos 3:7,Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Now, that's communication with the Lord. May question is? do you communicate with the Father in prayer?  Read Romans 8:26,Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Read James 1:19,Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. In others words,Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. When we speak in anger, we fail to show God’s love. Whether speaking to a family member or a stranger, our communication should always come forth in a loving manner. Thank you God for your word. Amen !
