The word for today is - Gates !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Gates !

The very first gate mentioned is the sheep gate. It was called the sheep gate because this was the gate which the sheep and lambs used in the sacrifice were bought through. Knowing that this speaks of the very first experience we come into in our Christian life that is, a realisation that Jesus was the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. The sheep gate then speaks to us of the cross and the sacrifice that was made for our sins. It is the starting point of everything but you will also notice that the sheep gate is also mentioned at the very end once we have come full circle. That is because everything starts and ends with Jesus' death on the cross. We are all in a battle whether we know it or not. We're in a Spiritual battle the sheep! Let's study the last three gates. The last three gates are also prophetic of the end times return of Jesus Christ. You will notice that all three gates are very close together and so are the events which they symbolise. Prophetically, the horse gate speaks of the day of the Lord and the end time judgement as recorded in the book of Revelation. Let's look at the East Gate. The east gate has been set aside especially by God and was known by Jews for one particular event, the coming of the Messiah! Ezekiel 44:1-3 '… the gate that looked toward the east, and it was shut. The Lord said to me, 'This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it, for the Lord God of Israel has entered by it.' The east gate opens and looks toward the Mount of Olives and we know that when Jesus returns He will return to this mount. Read Zechariah 14:4. He will then enter Jerusalem by the east gate. The east gate then speaks of the return of Jesus Christ. For our Christian life is shows us of our need to live with this hope and to long for His return. A specific crown is even given to those who do this 2 Timothy 4:8. Prophetically this gate is very close to the horse gate because the day of God's wrath ends with the coming of the Lord Jesus as described in Revelation 19. Let's look at Isaiah 62:10 ,Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Read Matthew 7:14, Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The final gate is the inspection gate, this gate also speaks of the judgement of the nations that takes place when Jesus returns. This is recorded in Matthew chapter 25, the sheep and the goats judgement. Let's look at verse 32, And before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats; And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. What side are you sitting on? Jesus says to the ones sitting on the right side,Come ye are blessed of my Father thy inherit the kingdom, but then the ones on the left Jesus says depart from me, read Matthew chapter 25:31-46 .And all who hear the word of the gospel, ought to bring forth the fruit of the gospel, obey it, and have their principles and lives formed according to it.The gospel is the word of truth. Who will stand on my word? Some people don't want the truth, the word from God says "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples, then and only when you do this.....Read John 8:31-32,....If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.It isn't just the truth that sets you free, it is knowing the truth and then applying it that sets you free.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Whatsoever!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Whatsoever !

One reason people love the Psalms is that we can each usually identify the Psalms with our own experiences.Let's get understand of the book, Psalms it stands as a kind of introduction to the rest of the Psalms. Its subject matter is very general and basic, but it touches on two subjects that continually occur throughout the Psalms. It declares the blessedness of the righteous and the misery and future of the wicked. Man’s spiritual life is set forth negatively and positively, inwardly and externally, figuratively and literally. However, the key subject is the centrality of God’s Word to the life and fruitfulness of the righteous who truly loves God's Word. God says there are two ways of life open to us: one means blessedness, happiness, and fruitfulness, but the other means cursedness, unhappiness, and judgment. The choice is ours! Blessedness is a choice, but to be blessed, one must by faith obey the conditions; he must pursue the way of blessedness as described in the book of Psalms. Read Psalms chapter 1,How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!  But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Blessing comes from growth in the plan of God through fellowship with Him and through the Word of God. The word from God tells us, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” The man of blessedness is one who has determined to walk by the whole counsel of the Word, not by his emotions, experience, tradition, by popular opinion or by what is politically correct. From thinking like the world you begin to act like the world, that means your unstable in all your ways. This refers to those who are guided and controlled by their own desires, emotions, impulses of the mind and flesh rather than by the Word and the Holy Spirit. How do people scoff at the Word of God?  By blatant ridicule or rejection. But there are other ways. By indifference. Some people think they have better things to do with there time. By substituting one’s own ideas, experiences, emotions, feelings, or traditions for the Word and its principles.By listening to the Word proclaimed, but then ignoring it. In essence you can scoff at the Word when you fail to obey it. It takes time to grow and mature in the Word.  True spiritual strength comes from a long-term, establishing a relationship with God in his Word  read Hebrew chapter 5. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Respect !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Respect !

A good starting point is to respect others because God said to. This is a command from God! Some people will say things like this, "He or she hasn't earned my respect." The Bible tells us that we need to maintain an attitude of respect for everybody. Peter wrote that we should show respect to everyone and honor the king, although the king in those days was an evil person.Read1 Peter 2:17,Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.Show proper respect to everyone ! The Bible says, "For in the image of God has God made man,"Whether or not someone is a Christian, honor him or her as God’s creation". Read Genesis 9:6," Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man". Let's look at children; The Bible says: "Children are an inheritance from the Lord; the fruit of the womb a reward from him". "Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." Psalm 127:3 Lo,children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Children are God's; we "inherit" them from him, to bring up and hold in trust. They are gifts, rewards; our lives are filled by being poured out for them. Set the example for the people and children around you. Show them what submitting to authority for the right reasons is supposed to look like. When you are in relationship with God, he provides you with protection and favor. But as you belittle and criticize those people he has placed in authority over you, that protection and favor is lifted from you. Read Luke 6:27-36, But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. But if we are thoroughly grounded in the faith of Christ's love, this will make his commands easy to us. Let's read Luke 6:36-37,Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Let us then aim to be merciful and forgiven. Let's do things God's way! Read the word in 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Study the word. When the vessels of dishonour are cast out to be destroyed, the others will be filled with all the fulness of God. We must see to it that we respect all people. The keys John 13:34-35,"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." Read Galatians 6:10,"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Also read Philippians 2:4, "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - People!

Good morning,
The word for today is - People!

Let's first look at the beginning in Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. This verse says that he created everything that exists.Okay! When Jesus got angry at the moneychangers in the temple or the self-serving Pharisees it was because they were exploiting religion instead of using it to bring people closer to God. Jesus taught the truth but they refused to listen. The Bible states that leaders are accountable for leading God's people in the right direction. They are accountable for warning others when they are going the wrong way.Sometimes people who are living in a way that is contrary to God's plan need someone to warn them about the consequences of their choices. God holds teachers, leaders and believers who knows the true word accountable for the ways in which they lead God's people. The Bible warns people in James 3:1, My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. Do you not know that teachers are leaders of God's people? Do you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly? Read in Ezekiel 33:8-9, "When I say unto the wicked, 'O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked (speak out to dissuade him) from his ways, that wicked man shall die in his  iniquity (sin); but his blood will I (Lord) require at thine hand. This means the Lord will hold you accountable for his blood.  In verse 9, Nevertheless,if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity(sin); but thou hast delivered thy soul. We need to tell God's people what the word says, We need to be able to tell other people what ( the word or Spirit) is telling us.What we need to do is reintroduce people to Jesus, his story, his life and his teachings. Not by forcing people to agree with us, but by giving them adequate examples and reasons to believe in Christ.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Spirit !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Spirit !

First, Do you know that God is a Spirit? Read John 4:24,God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.Do you not know who you are? Do you not know that you are a Body, Soul and Spirit? Read Joel 2:28,And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Read Proverbs 16:19,Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. Galatians 5:18-23, But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. Because if we are lovers of God we do not keep sinning willfully! Yes, we will stumble, but we will not continue to practice the sin of our youth! When we stumble, we go to the Father Repent, and Receive Forgiveness. As we grow in our understanding of who God is and we begin to fall in love with Him, we want to do right, because we love Him and we want to live a life that is pleasing to Him! Amen ! The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness. I ( Jesus), warn you that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God that dwells within a person providing God consciousness and power to live up to God’s standards through grace. In order for us to be truly saved, we must have the Spirit of God living within us. This is the word from God! There are some scripturals references to these facts; the New Testament is full of them because our salvation depends on it.  Without the Spirit of God, or the Holy Spirit, you cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven read John 3:5, Romans 8:9, you cannot possess the revelation of God read 1Corinthians 2:9-10, Ephesians 1:17, 3:5, 2Peter 1:21, and you have no hope in this present world read Romans 15:13, 2Corinthians 1:22, Galatians 5:5, Ephesians 1:13. Everyone who is saved has the Spirit read Acts 2:38-40, 5:32, 19:2-6; Romans 8:9, 1Corinthians 12:12-13, Ephesians 4:30, Titus 3:5 and the Spirit confirms his presence within a person read John 3:3-6, 14:26; Acts: 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-47; Romans 8:15-16, Hebrews 10:15-16, 1John 5:6-13. Are you walking by the Spirit of God? Since, we are living by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit, by reading the word, by praying or prayer, by keeping our minds fixed on the things of God, being filled everyday with His Spirit. By being transformed by the renewing of our minds, being transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. Ask God to transform you Read Psalms 51:10,Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Restore!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Restore !

God will restore you, if you seek Him.The word tells us in Psalms 23:1-3, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. This is the work of the Lord, He does the work in us,he will guide you, if you let Him. He is the one who leads us, do you hear the sound or voice of God? We can not walk on the path of righteousness with out the Lord.  Let's look at the work He does, read Psalms 51:10-13, Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Did you understand that, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from you. He is working on that stone heart, working to renew your way of thinking and doing somethings. Read James 4:8,Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. He has made a way back for you, just turn to Him read Jeremiah 3,Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God., I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners. 'Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart. "I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," Says the Lord, "And I will heal him."  Did you get that the Lord will heal you,you are one of His sheep, you will return to Him. Read Jeremiah 31:16-18, Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God.Christ set us an example of meekness in sufferings, and a pattern of submission to God's will in every thing that concerns us. Let's look at John 18:1-9,When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none? Not one will be lost! Do you not know who you are? Your blessed! Your light! Your the salt of the world! Your a sheep, that is not lost ! Jesus, tells us in Matthew 5:1-14,And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Jesus is telling us what we should seek for, we will not find happiness in this world or the next with out Him! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Foundation !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Foundation  !
We must have a strong foundation.Let's read  2 Timothy 2:19,Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Did you get that? God has chosen us. Your seal, Amen ! Read Romans 15:20,Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation. Paul preached to them; but what made them sacrifices to God  was their sanctification  not his work, but the work of the Holy Ghost, unholy things can never be pleasing to the holy God. When ever we do good it's to the glory of God.Look at Luke 6:48,He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.Who is the Rock ?The rock is God! Read Revelation 21:1-4,And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Nothing unclean will ever enter in the kingdom of God. Is your foundation standing on the rock? The word from God. We must speak, and act according to the word of God. Whatever you speak from your mouth comes from your heart. Read 2 Timothy 3:16,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness..A strong foundation comes from the word,to get true learning, one must get it out of the Scriptures. The Bible is a sure guide to eternal life. A foundation that will stand forever more..Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Bread !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Bread !

Who is the Bread of Life? I am ! First pray that the Lord reveals His Word to you from these scriptures and that you may grow spiritually. Grow in your faith, closer to Him as you're learning His Word. Success in your spiritual walk is so much more important than your physical walk.  Your spirit will live for eternity in Heaven or Hell, but your physical fleshy body will die and pass away.In Luke 4:4,Jesus replied, “It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'" Read John 6:48-51  "I am the bread of life.  Your fathers did eat  manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if  any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the  world." What is "manna" that Jesus is referring to? Read  Exodus 16:4 reads "Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you;"Read Exodus chapter 16, It tells us about this bread from Heaven. This wonderful bread would only keep for one day. They would gather delicate manna every morning and bake it into warm sweet bread. Did you get that? Manna came by the will of God. It came from God everyday,He loved His  people and took care of them with this food. Jesus, tells us in verse 44, No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: I will raise him up at the last day. Also, verse 47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.Your body  needs energy to keep moving throughout the day.  Food gives you energy. Without a daily feeding for your  flesh, your body gets tired and weak.  Well the same goes with feeding your spiritual man. It gets weak, it needs food also. The Word of God ,If we want to live spiritually and go to Heaven, we have to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  We have to  seriously accept "the bread of life which is Jesus Christ."Read John 6.35,And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that  cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst."  We can see then that the hunger here is referred to, is a spiritual hunger and a spiritual
thirsting. Read Matthew 26.26, Here is a well known scripture from the account of the Last Supper. "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body." Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Walking !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Walking !

God is looking for an army of believers who are consistently walking in the Word. Think about it? Many people miss out on experiencing God’s mighty power because they will not act unless they can see how everything will work out. They want to walk by sight but God has called us to walk by faith.God says clearly in His Word, that we have to make the choice every day to walk by faith, not by sight. In order to overcome today’s pressures, this is the only way; by walking in faith. Faith is the supernatural force that gives you the help and endurance you need to go through life at a strong and steady pace. The power of choice has been given to us. Do we live by faith or do we live by our own circumstances? Do we only say “we have faith” or do we use our faith to get the supernatural force in our life to remove burdens and destroy yokes, remove mountains in the lives of others and in our own life? True faith in God has substance.  When a person steps out in this type of faith, he will be standing on solid rock.  The substance is faith in God's eternal, unchanging word.Your evidence for what you believe is your faith in God’s Word.  How Do We Get Faith? The best way to get faith is to hear the Word of God.  It is important for you not  only to hear it with your ears but also with your heart.  To hear God’s Word in your heart requires openness and hunger for God’s message. Read Romans 10:17,So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith will grow as you are continually hearing God’s Word. Problems arise when the feelings and emotions change. Feelings are influenced by what you see, what you read, and what you hear.Your faith must be controlled by God’s Word, not by what you feel, not by what circumstances look like, and not by what others tell you, only by God's word.  Read 2 Corinthians 5:7,The apostle Paul said,For we walk by faith, not by sight. While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things  which are not seen.  For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.God’s Word is eternal. Let's look at Jesus and Peter, the example Christ and the disciples in Matthew 14:22-32,Jesus instructed His disciples to go ahead to the other side of the lake or sea of Galilee, by boat. Jesus then went alone to a nearby hill or mountain to pray. By this time the boat had drifted far out into the sea, tossed about by great waves, because it was windy . Early in the morning, between 3 and 6 a.m. Jesus went to them, by walking on the sea. The sight of someone walking on the sea terrified the disciples, who thought it was a ghost, Jesus reassured them. Jesus spake unto them saying, Be of good cheer it is I be not afraid. Peter responded, And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water to go to Jesus. For a while Peter was able to walk on the water, but when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried saying, Lord save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? As long as Peter was focused on Christ, he was able to walk on the water. But when he saw the strong wind churning up dangerous waves around him, he began to doubt and sink. This is very much like our life. We are fine while things are going well, but when storm comes our way, we tend to get discouraged. Faced with impossible situation we find ourselves helpless. Like Peter we begin to doubt and sink. What is the stormy sea of your life? Is it financial problem? Sickness? Loss of a job? Whatever it is, we have all the reason to trust in Him. Now, walking by faith is not walking in blind faith. When we walk by faith we walk with assurance of God’s promises.  Walking by faith is only possible if we are growing in awareness that God is reliable that He will perform as He promised. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Hope!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Hope !

Let's read  Romans 5:5,And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Did you get that? It is a gift !  Read Romans 15:13,Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Without hope, life loses its meaning  and in death there is no hope. Read Lamentations 3:18,And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the Lord.  Job 7:6, My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and are spent without hope.  Let's read Isaiah 38:18,For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. Read Job 17:15, And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it ? Where is your hope? Is your hope in Lord ? The word from God tells us in Jeremiah 17: 7-8, Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Do you not know that God search the heart of everyone? Read Jeremiah 17:9-10, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Our hope is in Him alone! Read Psalm 146,  Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Put not your  trust in princes, nor in the son of man,in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.  Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Which made heaven and earth, the sea and all that therein is: which keepeth truth forever: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed:which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners . The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:the Lord loveth the righteous: the Lord preserveth the strangers; he  relieveth (supports) the fatherless and the widow: but  the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God,  O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Water!

Good morning,
The word for today is-  Water!

In the natural we see water all around us.  We drink it and we wash with it. But the word "water" is also used quite often when speaking of the "spiritual things" in life. Running water, in the Bible water always represents the Word of God. Running water is active and moving, just as the Word of God needs to be active and working in our lives. Paul tells us that it is by the washing of the water of the Word that the Church is cleansed in its daily walk. John 19:34 ,But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. So, hLet's look,of the following verse written about our Lord's crucifixion. Read ere on the cross we see the blood and the water pouring from our Lord's side thereby inaugurating the Word of God and making provision for eternal righteousness and cleansing in our daily walk. It was with His shed blood at Calvary that Christ, the Word of God incarnate, validated the new testament portion of the Word read, Matthew 26:28-29, For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. Each individual is a vessel for "water" if it's good water or bad water. Read Jeremiah 2:13,For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. The word from God tells us it is done. Read Revelation 21:6, And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. This fountain is Christ.  Christ Himself is the Fountain we all need. The word from God tells us in John7:37-38,In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. He that acknowledges me as the Messiah, and trusts in me for salvation shall have the living water. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Partaker !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Partaker !

Let's read Colossians 1:12-13 says, "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son. We have a king and live in a new kingdom, we must understand "kingdom principles" if we are to be victorious. The Lord never meant for us to wait until we die to experience heaven, but purposed for us to bring heaven to the earth through the power of His Spirit. Read Ephesians 5:3-7 ,But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as  becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore, do not be partakers with them. The Holy Spirit separates us from the world, we are design to be pleasing to God. If we are to receive God's blessings in His Son, we must be "partakers of the divine nature." Read 2 Peter 1:4, Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. The "divine nature" is simply God-likeness. Read Genesis 1:27, So, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them. Our character must become like the very moral nature of God, that we might be fit to dwell with Him throughout eternity. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Voice !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Voice !

You may hear people say that the Bible is just a book written by men, but the Bible is God's Word! Can we rely on it? Yes! The Bible itself declares,in John 1:1,"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" In another place, we read in  2 Timothy 3:16."All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness".This is the word from God and it is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man( or woman) of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. There are many occasions recorded in the Bible in which the direct voice of God, or a specific message from God is recorded. There are other passages such as 2 Peter 1:21, which speak of God's inspiration .  Jesus said, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." Read Matthew chapter 28:18-19,And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The Bible was written that we might have a clearer picture of God, who He is and His desire for us to know Him.Not all information or signs given supernaturally are from God. The evil one, through signs, wonders and lying spirits speaks deceptive words. Ignorant and uninformed people are amazed and readily accept the information spoken or signs given. But as believers, we are not to accept the information given if it does not meet the Biblical test ( God's word). God's people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Read Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Change!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Change!

How can we change? The renewing of the mind. The Bible tells us how to change and improve our selves to become what God wants. We must first remove old habits and develop new ones.Change does not come easily.Read  Romans 12:1,2, I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Believers are transformed, changed by renewing their minds. Also read Ephesians 4:23, And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. To live differently, we must think differently. We must not seek to be like the world but to use our bodies and our way of mind (thinking) in the  service of the Lord.We should desire to be like someone we admire and love. Who? Jesus ! As we face each decision in life, we should ask, "What would Jesus do?" This will give us strong motivation to change our lives. Read Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. To change your habits you must study the word from God. To succeed in God's work, meditate on God's word.  The Bible gives us reasons why we should change.Read Joshua 1:8 ,This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. To change your life, you need a specific, practical checklist of steps you will take to change. Read Proverbs 14:22, Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.Pray for God's help.Tell God exactly what your problem is. Pray often and regularly,God has promised that, if you ask FOR His help, He will hear and answer. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Forward !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Forward !

Let's read Philippians 3:12-14,Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. When you need to make a decision it's a smart move to seek God's will on the matter. After all, God is infinitely wise, knows the future perfectly, and loves you beyond comprehension. Where better to go for advice? Let's look at Proverbs 3:5-6,Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.Let's look at Lord talking to Moses,Then the Lord said to Moses, ``Quit praying and get the people moving! Go Forward!"Read Exodus 14:15, And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward. Are you at a stand still in your life? Move forward! Moving forward isn’t possible unless we trust God. The word from God tells us to pray and move out of the way and let God move on your behave.Read Romans 8.28-29, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. It does NOT say, "All things are good". Why? Because many things in this sinful world are absolutely NOT good. What it says is that God will make all things "work together for good." Thus God ensures that even the bad things will work for your ultimate good in God's good time. Read Exodus chapter 15!  The Lord is always working to take His people forward into greater revelation of who He is, that we might share in the experience of His presence, discover the joy of committed, loving relationships, and find the inner fulfillment of living with purpose. God’s provision is well able to meet our need with abundance if we will only move forward with Him.  The enemy uses many schemes that work to destroy our walk with God and keep us from moving forward. The temptation to attack others when we are frustrated and disappointed is a divisive tactic of the enemy that tends to reoccur with each new trial in life. Moving forward in our walk with God depends on our learning to believe in and trust Him day by day. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Help !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Help !

Let's start here in John 15:12,This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. He (Jesus) loved his disciples, who were unworthy. Did you get that? Jesus loves us and His love is in us, so why is it that you can't show love towards others in need? Are you one of His disciples? This will certainly make you stop and think. Ask yourself is your living in vain? The scripture says in 1 Corinthians 15:58 forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. You never know what a kind word, a phone call, or an visit will do for someone else. Also, just giving someone a bottle of water or something to eat can be a blessing. Read Hebrews 13:16, But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Also,The word tells us in Hebrews 13:21,Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen! He is watching." What we call “making an impact” God calls “serving a generation.” My question is this, how will we serve our generation? What change will we create? What impact will we make? The time to make an impact is now! People are in need today, nations are in need. How can you help? The time to respond to the call of greatness is now! As we decide to go forward and serve our generation, regardless of who or where we come from, we’ll be able to join in and sing in the words of the songwriter:Words to a song;"If I can help somebody as I pass along. If I can cheer somebody with words or song. If I can show somebody that he's traveling wrong. Then my living shall not be in vain. If I can do my duty, as a good man ought, If I can bring back beauty, to a world up wrought, If I can spread love's message, as the Master taught, Then my living shall not be in vain.  In the middle of the garden of Eden was the tree of life, the tree of knowledge of good and evil. A simple choice, Life or Death in the Spirit. God is merciful and not willing that any should perish. Jesus tells us about  famines, pestilences and earthquakes. Read in Matthew 24:7,8, For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. What's in my Spirit this morning is a question?, if I was homeless, if I had no water, and no money, who would walk by me ? gasped and whispering and made faces? Read James 2:14-17,What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Would a believer do this?_! True believing is not an act of the understanding only, but a work of the whole heart. I have been sending shoes for Orphan Souls children. My goal was one thousand pair of New Shoes or Socks for Orphan Souls,( a thousand children ) kids only . I had a date, it was 01/01/11, but God's plan is for my life to help people. But the Spirit of God has put in my heart to do this has long has I am here on earth. The Spirit from God says in Matthew 26:11,For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. Our Lord's words also show, that there will always be poor people in the world, that believers would always have opportunities of showing kindness and respect to others (a helping hand). Let's look at 1 John 3:17,But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? Read Proverbs 22:9,He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.Read this John 15:13,Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Power !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Power !
My people have not truly comprehended the power that is in my blood". So many of my people are living beneath their means because they have not applied my blood to their situations. The enemy knows that there is power in my blood because without the shedding of my blood there would have been no remission for the sins of the world. Think about it? We serve a mighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Yahweh, who created the heavens and the earth, the sea and its creatures- he hung the moon, the sun, the stars and the clouds, which are the very dust of his feet. Why are you allowing your past disappointments or failures to keep you in bondage? Apply my blood to the doorpost of your souls and watch death pass over you. Stop walking in defeat when I have given you victory! Stop, allowing yourselves to go into retreat when I given you power to advance in my KINGDOM! Stop, allowing failed relationships to prevent you from receiving the good ones that I have ordained for your lives! Stop, speaking words of negativity in your lives and bring forth words that will build and produce fruit. Stop, saying what you can't do when I have given you my Spirit, which gives you the power to do all things, for as I AM IN THIS WORLD SO ARE YOU! Stop, I say and walk in the liberty that I have given you by MY BLOOD! Apply it to your hearts, minds, and souls. Smear is over your eyes, mouths, and ears. Saturate your bodies in my Blood and utilize the keys I placed in your hands! No more are you to allow yourselves to be taken for granted. No more are you to retreat when the enemy rears his head. No more are you to allow fear to stop you in your tracks, for I have not given you a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind. Who's report will you believe? When man says no, I have said yes? Who's threat will you believe when I represent your VICTORY! This day have an ear to hear what the spirit of the Lord says to His Church... love me and live in victory...apply the powerful blood of Jesus to your lives and watch death pass over you. Thank you God for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Presence !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Presence !

The psalmist writes, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” in Psalms 100:4 in the NKJV.The Bible says that God inhabits in the praises of His people in Psalms 22:3. Read Psalms 16:11, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Read Exodus 33:14 NKJV, And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."Also read Psalms 34:18-19 NKJV,The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers out of them all. The Bible story begins with the unjust arrest of Paul and Silas. Because they had cast a spirit of divination out of a girl, the local Philippian authorities beat them and then threw them into a jail cell. According to the standards of that day, a prison was more like the resemblance of a dungeon.Yet, in spite of the throbbing pain in their bodies and the disheartening atmosphere, at midnight Paul and Silas were heard praying and singing praises to God! What a strange sound this must have been to the other prisoners, who were used to only hearing the groans or cursings of those who had been beaten. Then suddenly, there was an earthquake that shook the prison. The doors flung open, and amazingly, the bonds of Paul, Silas, and every other prisoner were released. What caused this mighty discharge of power?Paul and Silas knew the secret of how to lift their hearts above their troubles and enter into God’s presence and power. Do you? Through praise and worship their hearts were raised into the joyous presence and peace of God, and provided God a channel for his power to operate in their circumstances. praise should be a part of a believers lifestyle, inter-mingled as a part of their daily prayer life. At work, in the car, at home in bed, or anywhere; praise to the Lord brings the refreshing of the Lord’s presence, along with His power and anointing. “...I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” in Psalms 34:1. Begin to praise His name, it sends the enemy running. Being in the presence of God should be a meaningful and momentous experience. Bible consistently points to David as an example of what God wants us to be like. David did not care about appearances. He loved the Lord deeply, and when he worshiped God, he did it with his whole heart. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Draw !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Draw !

Let's read James4:7-8,But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. This means draw nigh in worship and institutions, and in every duty he requires of you. Also, Cleanse your hands. He who comes unto God must have clean hands. Read 1 Timothy 2:8,Paul therefore directs to lift up holy hands without wrath and doubting. Hands free from blood, and bribes, and everything that is unjust or cruel, and free from every defilement of sin: he is not subject to God who is a servant of sin. The hands must be cleansed by faith, repentance, and reformation, or it will be in vain for us to draw nigh to God in prayer, or in any of the exercises of devotion.  The hearts of the double-minded must be purified. Those who halt between God and the world are here meant by the double-minded. To purify the heart is to be sincere, and to act upon this single aim and principle, rather to please God than to seek after anything in this world. A man may have a competent portion of the good things of this life, and yet may keep himself in the love of God; but he who sets his heart upon the world, who places his happiness in it, and will conform himself to it, and do anything rather than lose its friendship with the things of the world, he is an enemy to God; it is constructive treason and rebellion against God to set the world's ways upon our hearts. Whosoever therefore is the friend of the world is the enemy of God.There is something we have to do.  Resist the devil ( your way of thinking and doing things) your mind, and he will flee from you ( doing things God's way) by the Holy Spirit. This is a promise to us from God. If we resist the adversary, He will compel him to flee, and will give us the victory. We are taught to abandon the friendship of this world, so as to submit and subject ourselves entirely to God. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? It is impossible for two to walk together when in disagreement. Here is the point, it doesn't matter if you agree with me or not.  There is only one God and he only made One Way, I am the way!! So if you disagree with Jesus and the Word of God, you cannot walk with Him. If anyone reading this is lost or seeking more knowledge of you, I pray that they might come to the knowledge of you and your word and decide to walk with you in agreement.Thank you God for your word.Amen!

The word for today is - World!

Good morning,
The word for today is - World!

God requires the whole heart, and will not share it with the worldly things or anyone. The word from God tells us what to do first. Read Matthew 6:33,But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. First this is the will and command of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also read Galatians 2:20,I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. This is telling us that the old man is crucified read Romans 6:6, Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin, but the( believer)new man is living in Christ. What is the principle of your walk; the flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? The old man's will is unable to keep any commandments fully. Read Romans 8:5,For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. We may know our real state and character by inquiring whether we have the Spirit of God or the Spirit of the world. Having the Spirit of Christ is having the mind that is in Christ Jesus. The word tells us that in Matthew 6:24,No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. This means being worldly minded is not of God.The worldly man is wrong in his first principle; therefore all his reasonings and actions therefore must be wrong. When two masters oppose each other, No man can serve both. He who holds to the world and loves it is not of the Spirit of God, but he who loves God gives up the worldly things. Read Matthew 6:30-,Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.Read Proverbs 10:3,The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”  The Lord tells us to Love Him only,The Greatest Commandment ! Read Mark 12,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. " Who is your first Love? Read Revelation 2:4-5,Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. The “first love” to which the Bible is talking about whether your love for Jesus has first place in your life. Thank you God for your word. My first Love!!!!Amen !

The word for today is- Stress!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Stress!

In today's world it is virtually impossible to avoid stress, people are seeking relief for their problems. The first thing we must do to be free from our stress and our worry is to come unto Jesus. Without Him, our life has no real purpose or depth. We simply run from one activity to another, seeking to fill our lives with purpose, peace, and happiness.Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  If you need God's Word to overcome anything in your life, then go to the word from God ( the Bible) His word. The hard times in life will either make us full of faith in God, or angry and brittle, full of doubt and unbelief. The spoken Word of God is a living, powerful sword. Read Hebrews 4:12,For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart and if Jesus depended upon it to face challenges in life, so can we. Study this Book ( the Bible) of Instruction continually, meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is a command  be strong in the Lord.  Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord our God is with us wherever we go.There are only two motivating factors in life,  fear or faith. The Bible says that when everything else is stripped away, only three things remain: faith, hope, and love, and that love is the greatest of the three. Read John 14:27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Read Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things will be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow will take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."  If you don't know Him, ask Him into your heart. If you do know Him tell Him that you want to know Him better. Overcoming Insecurity, read Philippians 4:6-9 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Way!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Way!

The first question? Is Jesus the only way? The answer is clear: Yes ! “Jesus did not say, "I am a way". He said, "I am the way.” Jesus is the way,To who? He is the way to the Father ,No one comes to the father except through Him. Read John 14:6-7,Jesus saith unto him "I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.” Let's look at John 13:16,Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. In your bible you can find where Jesus plainly says that he is sent by the father. Mathew 10:40, He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.If you are looking for the light, then open up your eyes and your heart. Read the word from God. Remember that the bible says ‘God is the light read Revelation 21:23, And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it : for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.   Read Mathew 23:13-39. In verse 39, For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. God has appointed him( Jesus) as our Mediator, and has ordained that all blessings shall descend to this world through him (Jesus). As being the perfect revelation of God the Father: combining in Himself and manifesting all divine reality,I am the way, the truth, and the life. Without the way there is no other way in ; without the truth there is no other true way in; without the life( the Spirit of God) there is no living. I am the way which thou shouldst pursue; the truth which thou shouldst believe. Not only life in the future world. He is "the principle and source of life in its temporal development and future consummation, so that whoever has not received Him into himself by faith, has become a prey to spiritual and eternal death" Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Friend !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Friend !

We were created to be friends right from the start. Friendship began in the Garden of Eden. God walked with them and God talked with them. But then the friendship was broken. Something or someone got in the way, a new friend that deceived the woman. But God wanted to restore that relationship. Let's look at Genesis 18:17-33, we read about God sharing His intentions with Abraham. Abraham responds by telling God his thoughts and feelings about the situation. God and Abraham are able to do this because they trust and respect each other. God's Word tells us that a friend sticks closer than a brother, and that in order for one to be a friend, one must show themselves friendly  in Proverbs 18:24.  True friendship is both challenging and exciting. It overlooks faults, and it loves unconditionally, but it also involves being truthful, even though it may hurt. Real friendship looks at the heart, friendship loves for love's sake, not just for what it can get in return. God wants us to have friends here on earth. Most of all, He wants us to be friends with Him!  We sometimes, offend a friend without meaning to, God's Word offers a solution. It's called forgiveness. There is no greater example than the love of God for us. It's so great that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, in order that our friendship with God might be restored. He did that in spite of the fact that we have offended Him deeply. We have disobeyed His commands, turned our backs on Him, and followed our own path. So the question remains, What type of friend do you desire to be? Who does Jesus tell us we are?  The Lord Jesus calls us His friends and He laid down His life for us . In John 15:9-17, Jesus tells us that we are his friends. This relationship with the disciples near the end of Jesus’ life in John’s gospel seems to become very intimate. Now he will become their Friend. Not slaves but companions. “I no longer call you servants because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. No one has greater love than to lay down their life for their friends." “You did not choose me, but I chose you” and “I have called you friends”. The word that Jesus used was “philos” which is the word we get for "Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love." This philos is a friendship love. Genuine friendship, also called "agape" love, comes from the Lord. When Jesus tested his friendship with Peter, Peter had denied him, Jesus asked Peter three times ,if Peter loved him. Like Peter and the disciples, we are being invited to go deeper in our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. You see what is more powerful than philos is agape. Friendships that are built upon the grace of Christ that calls us back into a relationship that might bear fruit for the kingdom of God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Hold

Good morning,
The word for today is -Hold !

Let's read Proverbs 11:12, He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace. The intelligent man remaineth silent. This is wisdom, If a person cannot speak anything good of another person, he or she will not speak evil of them, but will hold your peace. Whoever in a derisive or insulting manner, whether it be publicly or privately, degrades his neighbour, is unwise. Read Titus 1:9,Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. We must be a person who is firm in your belief of the doctrines of the faith, and a person who can be relied on to maintain and defend those doctrines in all circumstances. If the doctrine is not sound doctrine it is in vain. If it's not the word of God ,it's not good for anything. The doctrine of the Gospel is the word of truth, and truth itself, and contains nothing but truth. In the Scriptures is the sound doctrine which teach, instruct, and edify the minds of men. Sound doctrine is the faithful word, the wholesome words of our Lord Jesus,  it's the Spirit of God. Do you want it? Do you want the knowledge of it. Can you or will you hold it in your heart under any circumstance? Are you able to teach it to others?   How one is to live wisely. Read Proverbs 1:1-5, The Proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:  To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding, To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion; A wise man will hear and increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels. In verse 7,The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Inspired !

The word for today is - Inspired !

The word inspiration appears twice in the Bible,Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Also,2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. There are a few places in the Bible that clearly show the human authors were being guided by God as to what to write.Read Exodus 34:27, And the Lord said unto Moses, "Write thou these words; for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel." Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, recording what happened in that time period. Isaiah recorded what God told him to say to the Israelites. Jeremiah recorded all the events of speaking to the Israelites and their reaction to his messages. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote down details of Jesus' life and words. God guided them regarding what to say,and  write.Yes, we know that there is a time for this, and a time for that, even as King Solomon wrote but, the unaware people, who are eating and drinking and having a lot of fun are doomed for self-destruction: because of not listening to the voice of God, nor obeying his commandments.Read Joshua 1:8,"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.."Some people have never studied the Words of the Books of the Laws of God, which were revealed to Moses, who, according to the Bible, was the First Israelite leader with power from God, who talked with God.If we believe and obey those Words of Truth in the Books of the Laws of God, we will escape with good success. Yes then, this is how we will Prosper, in this World. Jesus said, Think not that I have come to Destroy the Laws, nor the Words of the Holy Prophets: because I have not come to Destroy them; but, to fulfill them, or to make them complete.  If you Love me, keep my Commandments, and then I will Love you, and will Come to visit with you, and will reveal myself to you, so that you might learn to be like me in all your ways: because the Servants do well to be like their Master in all thy ways. Therefore, be kind to one another, and Speak the Truth with one another, and do not say that these are not my Words: because the Holy Spirit has Inspired them, even as all Words of Truth have been Inspired since the Beginning of time. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Transformed!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Transformed!

What’s wrong with the human mind? Why does our mind need renewing? And what does this renewal look like? And how can we pursue and enjoy this renewal?  Do you understand this? Conversion and sanctification are the renewing of the mind; a change, not of the substance, but of the qualities of the soul.  Believers are to dedicate themselves to God.This is the work of the Holy Ghost  begin in the understanding, and is carried on to the will, affections, and conversation, till there is a change of the whole man into the likeness of God, in knowledge, righteousness, and true holiness. There are many who think that the only problem with the human mind is that it doesn’t have access to all the knowledge it needs. Some think that if people just get more education. No ! Read Romans 1:28, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;.” This is who we are by nature. The Bible has a far more profound analysis of the problem.  The mind has a “spirit.” In other words, our mind has what we call a “mindset.” It doesn’t just have a view, it has a viewpoint. It doesn’t just have the power to perceive and detect; it also has a posture, a demeanor, a bearing, an attitude, a bent. Read Ephesians 4:23, "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind." Also, read Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."  Let's look at 1 Corinthians 2:13,"Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."God has revealed true wisdom to us by his Spirit. The Holy Spirit knows all things, and he searches all things, even the deep things of God. No one knows the things of God but the Holy Spirit, for they are one.The carnal person is a stranger to the principles, and pleasures, and actings of the Holy Spirit. Are you bring forth good fruit or bad fruit? Do you have the mind of Christ? The word tells us in Philippians 2:5,Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.Do you not know the Bible is the word from God? We are to believe it, by the Spirit, He reveals everything to us. But first you must believe in Him. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and through choice we participate in accepting His transformation of our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit, we become a new creation. So transformation is a profound, blood-bought, Spirit-wrought change from the inside out. Read Hebrews 11:1-10,Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Thank you God for your word. Amen!

The word for today is- Course !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Course !

Let's look at  2 Thessalonians 3:1, Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.  I don’t believe there’s any distinction between men and women when it comes to their value to God and the accessibility of salvation. You have both men and women teaching and preaching in the Bible in the capacity of prophets and evangelists and giving Bible studies, like Priscilla and Aquilla. God is blessing us with the knowledge of his will in His word (the Bible). Read Ephesians 2:8-9,For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. All you need is in the word from God, you have know excuse. Read Ephesians 2:11-13,Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Let's read Romans 13:1,Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. All believers must not use any trick or fraud. The grace of the gospel teaches us to be at peace with God and in God. Let's read John 8:32, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. He encouraged them to attend his teaching, rely on his promises, and obey his commands, notwithstanding all temptations to evil. . You can then use these truths to build your faith since faith comes by hearing the word. Once you have a solid understanding of what God has to say about the issue, then you can boldly pray about anything in faith. This is the course from God.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Lie !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Lie !

What is a lie? A liar is a person who is lying, who has previously lied, or who tends by nature to lie repeatedly - even when not necessary. A deception trying to mislead another person or people. Let us first give a definition as to what a lie is according to Webster’s dictionary; To make a statement that one knows is false, especially with the intent to deceive;to give a false impression or action. To make a false statement in order to evade the truth,a false story or excuse in order to deceive. Also let's find out what deceive means; To cause one to believe what is not true; mislead. Since God cannot lie, He sets the example for all to follow. It is God's desire that we follow that example in all that we say and do. Read Exodus 20:16,Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. An example of lying and deceit is given in Acts 5:1-3,But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, "Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?" You can lie to others and yourself, but you can not lie to the Holy Ghost.Let's look at Proverbs11:3,The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. One who is “hasty in words or impulsive in thought” doesn’t take enough time to think about what they are saying. They usually don’t have too much thought behind their words. The point is that our words should mean something, our words should be well thought out. Jesus always kept His Word and His word is true. That is why He is reliable and we can trust His word. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7,Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Don't lie to others, walk in charity it never seeks its own to hurt others, or to neglect others. Read Hebrews 13:16, But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Keys !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Keys !

Let's look at Matthew 16:19,And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Did you get that, who gives you the keys? Jesus! Read 1 Peter 3:22, Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. Do you not know that the kingdom is at hand? Do you want the keys for freedom, from condemnation ? Let's look at Romans 8:5,For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. What is the principle of your walk; the flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? For which of these do you make provision, by which are you governed? Let's look at the Spirit,by the Spirit the law of love is written upon the heart, the flesh (unrenewed mind) is unable to keep God's word (commandments) fully. Let's read 1 Peter 4:12-16, Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. The only way to keep the soul well, is to commit it to God by prayer, and patient perseverance in well doing. He will overrule all to the final advantage of the believer.A key is an instrument for opening a door. The "power of the keys" was given, Peter was giving the keys of the kingdom of heaven. It means that Jesus make him the instrument of opening the door of faith to the world the first to preach the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles. We have the keys (knowledge )today did you unlock a door today? Do your keys unlock the doors of the kingdom?are you keys(the word) concerning his kingdom. Do you keys unlock life or death, this means the right interpretation of the word of God? Who is holding your keys? Through the natural of darkness you have no way in to the kingdom, but with Christ He is the way in. Thank you God for your word. Amen !
