The word for today is - Conversation !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Conversation !

Let's read Amos 3:3,Can two walk together, except they be agreed? No !!You must agree, or nothing come from the conversation good.  We need to listen first an know that the conversation is of good and not evil. An ordinary conversation, we speak, then listen for the response of the other person. It's the same with God! Once we've prepared our hearts to listen through prayer, we're more likely to hear the voice of God. Have you ever tried to carry on a conversation of any depth with a person you did not know? It doesn't usually go very far.Read 2 John 1:10,If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed. Look at Romans 16:17,Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Many call Christ, Master and Lord, who are far from serving him. But they serve their carnal, sensual, worldly interests. The two most important types of communication are between man and God and between human beings. Communication is more than just our ability to talk, but also to listen. As we communicate with God, the first part of that communication is listening. In order to fully understand God’s communication with us, we must be diligent to read, study, memorize and meditate on His Word. Trying to shortcut this process by seeking extra-biblical revelations or “hearing” God’s voice is not only unscriptural, but opens us up to the deception of our own fallen nature read,Jeremiah 17:9; Proverbs 3:5 or worse, the deception of demons who are always looking for ways into our minds read 1 Peter 5:8. Who are you have conversation with? Are you having conversation with people who are talking about the goodness of Jesus?or talking about the things of the world? Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Abide!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Abide!

The first thing is Jesus is talking John 15: 1, I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.. Let's read John 15:4,"Abide in me, and I in you. As the brand cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me".
Can you hear the sound of God?   Also read John 15:7 says, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." This is a powerful promise of God, but it is conditional as we notice two "if" in this Scripture. These are if, His words are abiding in us, and if, we are abiding in Him. He states we can ask anything and it will be done if, these two things are existent in us. Let's study the word "abiding"To wait ;to pause; to delay;to endure; to sustain; to submit to; to remain stable or fixed in some state or condition. Read chapter 15 of St. John. Jesus is the one and only true vine and it is the job of the Father to take care of and defend the branches on the vine so they will produce the best fruit. The vine, or main stalk, yields the proper juice and nourishment to all the branches, whether large or small, but all the nourishment must pass through the vine first. Some of the branches might be very large but not producing much fruit and sheltering other smaller branches so they cannot grow well. These large branches still receive nourishment even though they don't produce much fruit, but they absorb a lot of energy from the rest of the vine that smaller branches could use that are already producing fruit. For this reason God must prune as much as is necessary and needful in order to keep the vine healthy, even if it means cutting off some large branchesLet's look at John15:10-11, "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love"."These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full".Let's look at Colossians 3:1-2," If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God"."Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth".This means your mind should be on things above, not on earthy things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ. We must seek to know the whole truth and be completely surrendered to the will of God for us to be victorious and successful believers. Jesus is the Rock. He is solid and stable and will not change. For this reason we can trust Him and believe the Words He has spoken to us. If He said it, then that settles it. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Storm!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Storm!

Everyone needs a bit of encouragement from time to time. Thankfully we have the Bible as our ultimate source of encouraging words. The more we soak up the truth of God’s Word, the more assured we become that He really is going to take care of us. Let's read Luke 8:23-25,But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. Did you not know that without Jesus there is no relief for your storms in life? Even the storms have to obey him,so is there anything too hard for God? No ! Read the book of Genesis, chapter 18. Also read Jeremiah 32:17, Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Did you get that ? There is nothing ! Let's look at John 10:27-41,My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. Did you get that? His sheep knows His voice and they depend on Him (they follow Him). Do you not know that the favor of God is with thee? Read Luke 2:52,And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Path !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Path !

Do you not know that first wisdom comes from God, not man? Let's read the Father's Wise Instruction. The Father tells us,get wisdom, get insight,do not forget and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Read that again, do not turn from my (His) words. Now, that is a very wise chose don't turn from Him. Read 2 Peter 1:20-21,Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Let's look at Psalm 119:105,Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. The commandment is a lamp kept burning with the oil of the Spirit, as a light to direct us in the choice of our way, and the steps we take in that way. What path are you taking? Ask yourself do you swerve to the right or to the left?  Turn your foot and look directly forward, now start walking straight. The word from God says that the Holy Spirit will direct us. Allow Him to direct you path in everything. Let's look at Proverbs 4:1-7,Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Ask yourself, if the decisions of yours involves a moral or non-moral area (think first). It's actually a little easier to discern the will of God in moral areas because most of the time you will find clear direction in God's Word. God has already revealed his will in Scripture, your only response is to obey. Non-moral areas still require the application of biblical principles, however, sometimes the direction is harder to distinguish. The problem is that most people don't know how to figure out exactly what God's will is in every decision they face. Go to the Lord in prayer and keep praying intil you hear from the Lord. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Thirsty !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Thirsty !

Let's look at John 7: 37-38,In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. To be spiritually thirsty is something different then water,it means that people who want righteousness thirst for it like water. To thirst after righteousness means wanting to live according to God's will instead of the world's way of living. Read Matthew 5:6, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled .God will quench the thirst of those who desire him as a man walking in the desert with a dry canteen craves water. There's nothing casual about this kind of thirst.  Ask yourself this question, Where are you looking to satisfy your "deepest desires" or your "satifaction"? Let's look at it the way David says it in Psalm 63:1,O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Do you know that God should be enough for you ? What are people so desperate about, they are wanting something more.  It causes people to search, hard, for something that is right there within reach, it's in Jesus (God’s Presence). Some people are walking around an around looking and looking, then they say I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Why? Because, Your looking for it in a man or woman, or something that can not keep you well satisfied, this goes on and on in an endless cycle (for years). But, you still dissatisfied why? Because your not looking for Jesus. There is no need for anyone to ever be hungry or thirsty, His word tells all people in Isaiah 55:1-2,Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. This is the abundance! Do you want to be full? Look to Jesus read it for yourself; Psalm 107:9, " For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness". Then Jesus declared in John 6:35, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst". Here I am ! Revelation 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me ". The truth is the only reason you are desperate, hungry, thirsty, empty and dissatisfied is because you left your first love, Jesus ! Who is The Hope of Glory, The Bread of Life,The Living Water  and the Prince of Peace. Return to Your First love Jesus ! Drink of His living water, and you will never be thirsty! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Peace!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Peace!

God promises to give us peace. Can we look toward the future with hope, regardless of life and the world's circumstances? Yes ! The world around us is forever changing, but God does not change. He is steady, reliable. God says, "Is there any God besides me? No! there is no other Rock; I know not one. For I, the Lord, do not change." God is always there. He can be counted on. He is "the same yesterday and today, and forever." And God can make himself known, giving us a peace of mind through him. God has said, "My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." Did you get that?We have to learn that no matter what happens in this life, it's not "the end of the world" because this world isn't the end. Many people wait until times get really rough before they turn to God.That's okay, because God says, turn to me and be saved. If you don't have peace ask youself why? And how many times have you when shopping, or dated a person or visited a place and walked away feeling more empty than when you began? Most often lack of peace results simply from the absence of God in our lives. No matter what the future holds, we can place our hope in God. He's waiting ! If you will turn to him and seek him, you will find him. It is shaky ground to put our hope and faith in ourselves, in other people, or in anything this world offers. Instead, he wants us to trust in him. He says, Everyone who hears these words of mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine, and does not act upon them, will be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and it fell, and great was its fall. Do you not know that there is someone who would never leave you or forsake you? And that someone is Jesus! Read Hebrews 13:5 and Psalms 68:5 which says, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee and ( I AM ) is a father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, this is God in his holy habitation. No matter what happens in the world around us, there is peace of mind knowing that God is always with us. That should give you peace! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Trouble !

Good morning,
The word for today is -Trouble !

A true friend will stand by, even in times of trouble. The Bible says in Proverbs 17: 17, A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.True friendship is one of the greatest gifts of life. Let's look at Job 14:1, Man that is born of woman is of few days, and full of trouble. Is it possible to endure trouble (affliction) with patience and faithfulness? Yes ! God has promised to help us endure, but we must make use of the help He provides, sometimes it's people, and other times it's prayer, talking to Him. Read Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. How do you get an answer for your trouble? Read James 5:13, Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. These passages do not promise that God will remove our trouble(problem), but  He will provide the strength we need to be faithful despite the trouble (problem). Jesus and Paul both prayed about troubles (problems), and God answered their prayers, but the trouble (problem) was not removed. Instead, God gave them strength to endure read Matthew 26:36-46; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. We should never allow another believer to suffer alone through serious troubles (problems), if there is anyway we can help. The Bible tells us that we will go through tribulation, sometimes the death of love ones or someone close, or financial problems, or the stress of life. The trouble (trials) we go through are small, the suffering we go through is for an moment. But, let's look at Jesus surrounding us when we are in trouble, in Psalm 32:7, Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. So what happens when we go through these trials? We do what Job did we worship God,and praise his name, and trust Him. We have nothing to worry about. God is our guide, and he is always with us. God promised us in several places in the Bible, that He will never leave us nor forsake us in Hebrews 13:5-6, He promised that He will always be with us in Matthew 28:20. One of the things that should excite us is in the goodness on God is the fact that not only is God for us,but He is with us and in us ( the Holy Spirit) and will never leave us alone. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Remembrance !

Good morning,
The word for today is -Remembrance !

Let's look at 1 Corinthians 11:26,For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Let's look at Paul, He is giving instructions detailing the observance of communion just as he had received instruction from the Lord. Communion was instituted by our Lord on the eve of His crucifixion. Communion is an ordinance (command) uniquely entrusted to the local church, as the preceding context displays. Let's read 1Corinthians 11:24-25, And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take eat this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.Similarly we observe that it is “the Lord’s Supper” meaning He is the Master of the table and the Provider of the feast. The bread is symbolic of our Lord’s body given for the redeemed (“this is my body” our Lord stated, while he held what was obviously bread in His hand, and can only be taken symbolically). He took the place of judgment which we justly deserved. He died as the innocent on behalf of the guilty. The grape juice or wine symbolic our Lord’s blood offered in ransom for the redeemed. He calls that which is symbolized, His blood the purchase price of the “new covenant.” “Without the shedding of blood there is no remission,” the Scriptures teach. In fact apart from this supper, nothing else is said in the Bible to be done in Christ's remembrance. Read John 1:1-7, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Unity!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Unity!

Let's look at Psalm 133:1,Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Did you get that? this is pleasant to God ( enjoyment or satisfaction).. Who or what is the body of Christ? The body of Christ is the believers, made up of all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Each believer then, is a part of the body of Christ. The Body of Christ, like all bodies, is comprised of many parts and various members that, when left alone, are useless. That is why the word tells us in Ephesians 4:11-13, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up),Till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ . Read 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 describe it like this: For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body:so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many, (a unit though it is made up of many parts they form one body). Every believer possesses a gift and is called to use it in service within the body to build up the body of Christ, to strengthen the body and to carry out its purpose within the world. Are you contributing to peace and unity within the body? We are called to promote truth and unity read Ephesians 4:25, Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:  for we are all members one of another. Let's read  Philippians 2:2, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. This is the order for us ! This is the plan of God, read 2 Corinthians 13:11,Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. This makes it complete ! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Forward !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Forward !

Let's look at Philippians 3:12-14,Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We have to forget about the things which are behind us, and stretch forward towards the mark in Christ Jesus.Don't let the things of the past steal your present time. Some people seem to be going through a period of  thinking yesterday was better than today. Let's look at something ,Alexander Graham Bell wrote this, When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us. Let's look at something ,Abraham Lincoln wrote,The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time. It is true that man has a plan, but God orders our steps.Read 1 Corinthians 9:24,Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. Run !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can only reflect on somethings we feel were done right to bless others and there we can find satisfaction in knowing that the Lord is pleased. There are many personal goals that all of us did not fulfill, so it is best to thank God for the positives and not dwell on the negative. We must understand that the Bible tells us to press on towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. We are in a race and we can’t go back and retrieve any time lost from the previous year.We are constantly to be moving forward, growing and doing all we can to get the message of God’s word to others. We must make sure that we are living a life that reflects Christ’s nature to attract others to Him. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Vain !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Vain !

What does it mean to take the Lord’s name in vain? Let's look at  Exodus 20:7,Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. When we misrepresent Christ, either intentionally or through ignorance of the word as proclaimed in Scripture, we take the Lord’s name in vain. When we say we love Him, but do not do what He commands read Luke 6:46,And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? we take His name in vain and are in danger of hearing Him say read Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, “I never knew you depart from me , ye that work iniquity.”  God’s name plays an important and unique role in the Bible. God’s nature and attributes, the totality of His being, and especially His glory are reflected in His name read Psalm 8:1, O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens..We are to honor His name !!!The name of the Lord is holy, as He is holy. The name of the Lord is a representation of His glory, His majesty, and His supreme deity. Let's look at John 17:6, I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - People !

Good morning,
The word for today is - People !

Let's look at 1 Peter 5:6,Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. To be humble, and subject to our reconciled God, will bring greater comfort to the soul than the gratification of pride and ambition. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14,If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Let's look at the story of two men in Luke 18:9-14, And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. Did you get that? the condition of those who come short of the righteousness like this Pharisee, yet he was not accepted; and why not? He went up to the temple to pray, but was full of himself and his own goodness. The publican's address to God was full of humility, and of repentance for sin, and desire toward God. His prayer was short, but to the purpose; God be merciful to me a sinner.  Justification is of God in Christ; therefore the self-condemned, and not the self-righteous, are justified before God. And God's glory is to resist the proud, and give grace to the humble.  Let's look at two men Jesus and Moses; These men were two of the greatest characters who ever lived. Both were chosen by God to be givers of His law. Jesus was the Divine Son of God. Surely we should seek to be like these men. Read Matthew 11, Jesus said, "I am meek and lowly in heart " and Numbers 12, Moses was very meek, above all men on face of the earth. The best way to know the meaning of a word is to study passages where it is used. As we do, we will see meekness is an attitude or quality of heart in( 1 Peter 3:4 read it !) whereby a person willingly accepts and submits without resistance to the will and desires of someone else. The meek person is not self-willed - not continually concerned with self, his own ways, ideas, and wishes. He is willing to put himself in second place and submit himself to achieve what is good for others. Meekness is the opposite of self-will, self-interest, and self-assertiveness.  Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Day!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Day!

Let's look at this day in Psalm 118:24,This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Did you get that ? No matter what is going on in your life, at this very moment we could praise God for His new day.Don't let anything get in the way of acknowledging and enjoying the day that is given to you my the Lord. The Lord did not grant us another day on earth to worry and stew about what was going to happen next. He gave it to us to enjoy and share and be productive in what ever we do.Thank God for His day, why? Because each day is a gift from God. The next time your day is not going well think about this,Psalm 118:23,This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. In the morning, nothing can be more appropriate when we have been preserved through the night, and when we are about to enter upon the duties and dangers of another day.. If you need encouragement  to overcome your fears, go to the word from the Lord . It's okay,  Jesus depended upon it to face challenges in His life.Go read the Bible or go to the Lord in prayer.Read  Joshua 1, I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you ... No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Yoke !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Yoke !

Let's read Matthew 11:29-30, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. When we come to God  our Father, we must remember that he is Lord of heaven and earth, which obliges us to come to him with reverence as to the sovereign Lord of all; yet with confidence, as one able to defend us from evil, and to supply us with all good. The Lord is saying to us, you should embrace me and obey me ( my word). The weight, weary and overload of the world is hard, in order to be at eased and find rest you must take the yoke of the Lord upon you.The way out from the burdens of the world is in Psalm 55:22, Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. The Lord is telling us whatever it may be lay them upon me (give it to Jesus)! God will carry both you and your very heavy load. Let's look at John 8:36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Everlasting !

Happy Valentine’s Day!
The word for today is - Everlasting !

We know that the world is seeking love, but the love that they are seeking is in man. The world says I’ll love you if you are good to me but if you hurt me I will get you back.  This is evil for evil. The word from God say we are to have  His Love (Agape) in us. Let's look at God's love for mankind. God hates sin but let us never stray from the great Biblical doctrine of God's love for mankind, which allowed Christ to be nailed to the cross for our sins. However, the entire Bible is based upon the fact that God loves mankind, so much that God the Father sent His only begotten Son into the world to suffer and die for our sins.  Let's read John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Notice the words, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish! Let's also look at Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God in His foreknowledge knew how sinful and rotten mankind would be, but He looked beyond our faults and saw our need for redemption. Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again from the grave to take away our sins. Jesus did this by the shedding of His blood. Read 1 John 4:19 declares, "We love him, because He first loved us." The Bible teaches that God loved us before we loved Him.  Remember, we live in time but God lives in eternity where there is no time read Revelation 10:6. Even after being nailed to the cross, Jesus expressed forgiveness to the Roman soldiers who had stripped him naked, beat Him beyond recognition, placed a sharp crown of thorns upon His head, mocked Him, spit on Him and then nailed Him to a cross to bleed and die read Luke 23:34. Don't you ever say that God doesn't love us ! There is no depth of sin known to man which can prevent the arm of God from saving the sinner who seeks forgiveness, "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God..."   Jesus is the perfect example of Love. Love never fails. The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee "in Jeremiah 31:3. It's everlasting ! "Unending Love."  Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Showing!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Showing!

An day early. There's nothing wrong with showing your love and affection for the people you love. The question isn't, "How do you show your love on Valentine's Day?" The real question is, "How do you show your love all year?"A word for this kind of love  is, "agape". The Merriam-Webster Dictionary gives agape this definition, "self giving loyal concern that freely accepts another and seeks his or her good".   According to the Bible, true love is agape love it's consistent, it holds another person higher than oneself. In other words, love is humble and willing to put other people first.  Some view love as a feeling, but it is more than that, it's a decision followed by action. Read John 13:34-35, Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" and "A new command I give unto you, That ye Love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men  know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." The apostle Paul wrote in 1Corinthians 13:4,"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up" The greatest example of love was when Christ hung on the Cross. Read 1Corinthians 16:13-14, Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity. This is the order giving to us by the word of God.  Read Ephesians 4:23-24, And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. We need to put on the fruit of the Spirit of God everyday. When you get up first give thanks, then put of the Fruit of the Spirit of God, then get dress. Amen ! What Spirit is this read Galatians 5:22-23,But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Also read verse 25, If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. John also tells us in 1John 4: 7,Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. God expects us to show love towards each other every day, not just on Valentine's Day .Thank you God for your word.Amen !

The word for today is - Speak !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Speak !

The first thing is, Speak to me Lord, I need to hear from you! This morning, I was walking through my house asking the Lord to speak to my heart. When you want to have a conversation with someone, how do you begin? Do you stand in front of the person and hope they will talk to you? No! you must speak ( make a sound ).   We begin a conversation by opening our mouths and talking, engaging the other person's attention. Do you want to hear God's voice? If you do, it's possible you're hearing from Him already, for He is the one giving you the longing to hear from Him. We need the Lord to speak to us but we must speak also to Him. Let's talk to Him, Lord here's what's going on in my life, and I'd sure like Your thoughts on how to handle it. Would You please speak to me about this today? We speak, then listen for the response of the other person. It's the same with God! Once we've prepared our hearts to listen we're more likely to hear the voice of God. Are you asking the Lord to speak to your heart? He speaks to us in many ways. Here are some of them: God speaks through His Word ,God speaks through our thoughts ,God speaks through conversations with others ,God speaks through circumstances. How many words have you spoken today to encourage the listener? What have you said today that allowed another to see that you are ‘thankful’ for what God has given you? Have you used your tongue today to bless, or to curse? I believe it is wise to begin taking a hard look at what exactly we allow to come out of our mouths. Or, to dig a little deeper, to ask God to examine our hearts since it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. I don't  know everything, so I go to the Lord and ask Him. I ask the Holy Spirit  to make clear to me what purpose God has in mind for me today. My purpose is to open the minds of His people surrounding today’s issue to get someone else’s thoughts on the ‘words we speak’ ( good or bad). For me,"If I can help somebody as I travel along then my living will not be in vain".  I always speak of the goodness of Jesus. For, since we have to give an account of even our words, why aren’t we speaking of the goodness of Jesus? Thank you God for speaking through us and to us! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Return !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Return !

Let's look at Isaiah 55:11,So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. The Lord is telling us that His word, It shall not return to me (Jesus) without accomplishing that which I (Jesus) intend. It is never spoken in vain, and never fails to produce the effect which I ( Jesus) intends. We forgive, and cannot forget; but when God forgives, he remembers it no more. The power of his word in the kingdoms of providence and grace, is certain. So, no matter what problems people have : health, marital, financial, children, etc., etc., my counsel to them is always the same: Find two or three promises from the Word of God that cover your case. Begin worshipping God for these promises and begin saying them out of your mouth as if they were already manifested in your life. Quit speaking the negative circumstances ! Keep speaking about yourself what the Word says about you. The Holy Spirit will manifest those promises in your life if you believe the word from God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Search !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Search !
Each of us has five significant parts in our lives. We have the physical, the emotional, the mental, the social, and the spiritual. All five of these parts are designed to work together in harmony. In Jeremiah 17,, According to the Bible, a person's heart reveals his true nature and motivation. In Jeremiah 17:10, I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to  give every man according to his ways , and according to the fruit of his doings. The Bible says that God "searches the heart ; Jesus said that the widow woman gave more to the temple by giving two coins than those who put much more in the temple treasury because of what was in her heart (she gave all that she had). Read Psalm 139:23,Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: This is what we need to be asking the Lord for a clean Spirit. Read 1 Corinthians  2:10, But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. But the carnal man is a stranger to the principles, and pleasures, and actings of the Divine life. The spiritual man is the person to whom God gives the knowledge of his will.  We all have the power to choose between right and wrong.  We must search our hearts. We are losing brothers and sisters everyday because most of us forgot how to search our hearts. Let's look at one of  Mahalia Jackson songs, she was  asking the  Lord to constantly search her heart, to keep her honest . She said, Yes, while I’m down here living, Lord, search my heart. While I’m singing Your praises, Lord, please search my heart. Did you get that? Father help us to grow in you ( Holy Spirit) !  Let's look at 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24,Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. " Thank you God for your word. Amem!

The word for today is - New !

Good morning,
The word for today is - New !

Let's read Lamentations 3:23,They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Bad as things are in the world today, it 's the mercy of God that they are not worse.Thank God every morning first ! He is the begining of this day.  It's the work of the Lord, read Psalm 118:23,This is the Lord's doing: it is marvellous in our eyes. It is of the Lord's mercy we are not consumed. Wait for the salvation of the Lord. Why are you sad today, when the word from God says to rejoice and be glad in it? You have life giving to you by God. Amen ! Paul rejoiced in prison. David wrote psalms in the wilderness; Paul and Silas sang in jail; the Hebrew children remained resolute in the fiery furnace; John saw Heaven in his exile, and Jesus prayed in the garden of pain. You no longer have yesterday, it's gone! You don't yet have tomorrow, but you have this day.For the word tells us in Psalm 118:24,This is the day which  the Lord hath made; we (I) will rejoice and be glad in it. Do you not know how much God loves you? Yes, you the believer! Let's read John 13:34, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. It is called new, not because there was no command before which required people to love their fellow mankind, for one great precept of the law was that they should love their neighbor as themselves in Leviticus 19:18; but it was new because it had never before been made known by any class or body of people. All  believers, are to be attach to each other. Let's look at Jesus,he not only loved his neighbor as himself, but he loved them more than himself, for he laid down his life for mankind. In this he calls upon the disciples to imitate him; to be ready on all occasions to lay down their lives for each other. Also, Jesus tells us not just for the good people, but also for your enemies ( Love your enemies;  Lay down your lives for each other). Did you get that? all people! The Lord tells us to put on the new man ( that's the Spirit) read Genesis 1:27, that God created man in his own image. Read Ephesians 4:24,And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. For this is not by the power of man, but by the Spirit of God; this is God's work, and not man's; it is he who made us, not ourself. Thank you God for your word and your Love for us. Amen !

The word for today is - Awake!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Awake!

We are told to fulfilling the law through Love! Love is a living, active principle of obedience to the whole law. Read Romans 13:8-14,Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Awake out of sleep! Today people are sleep walking (spiritually asleep), there is away out. Whether we like it or not, a true revival, an awakening up to living by the Holy Spirit today. What we really need is more of God's Spirit within us! The Savior is standing at the door, knocking to come in. Will we awake and let him into our hearts and minds? Read II Timothy 4:1-4. People are more concerned with protecting their "self image" than in conforming to God's image! It takes sacrifice to be revitalized by the Holy Spirit. We may have to give up our reputation, not giving heed to what others think about us, but being more concerned with what the Creator thinks. We may have to bear criticism, misunderstanding and rejection of long and dear friends. Under certain circumstances, for the sake of the Truth, we may have to give up our jobs, or our life savings. Daily, we must be like young Isaac, willing to lay down ourselves on the altar. Do we want the zeal of the Almighty? How badly do we want it? Are we willing to pay the price? Are you willing to go all the way? Are you wise or foolish? Read Matthew 25:1-5, "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. We need to awake out of sleep. Let's look at  Romans 13:11-12, "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." Dear Lord, Revive us again;Fill our hearts with thy love. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Demonstrate !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Demonstrate !

Read Colossians 3:10-11,And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. The word tells us in verses 12- 14,Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering: Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a guarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity ( love), which is the bond of perfectness. We are told to walk in the Spirit of love.  Also read, Ephesians 4:2-3,With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  Let's look at Matthew 4:2,And Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.. Jesus came preaching the gospel of the kingdom, He came on a three-pronged mission: to save sinners who are incapable of saving themselves."For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom. 6:23);" to shew us the Father" and "declare the Father’s love" (John 14:8-9; 17:26); and to “destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8). In order to accomplish this mission, "About my Father’s business” (Luke 2:49), Jesus first began to gain the people’s attention by working many miracles and healing many of diseases, illnesses, and physical ailments. Why did Jesus do this? To accomplish His mission. This was His mission statement: 1.) Demonstrate the Father’s love for those suffering 2.) Demonstrate heaven’s power over Satan’s realm by undoing the devil’s handiwork of causing sickness, disease, and suffering 3.) Demonstrate His ability to “save to the uttermost” those who came to Him by offering them a better way.But His real mission was to demonstrate that there is a better world coming! One day God’s kingdom will be established and then, and only then, shall there be no more pain. Read in Revelation 21:4,And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away . Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Knowledge!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Knowledge!

The word “knowledge” in the Bible denotes an understanding, a recognition, or an acknowledgment. To “know” something is to perceive it or to be aware of it. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. If people are ignorant of the word they are of no use to the Kingdom of God. For it is written in Proverbs 20:11,"Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure and whether it be right." Young people prepare themselves for life's responsibilities through the discipline they receive at home.  Let's look at Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.each time we renew our commitment to resolving conflicts nonviolently, we honor Dr. King's legacy. Dr. King was leading a major struggle to eliminate racial segregation and discrimination in the South. His workers felt proud that they could contain their violence and learn not to hate their enemies.  Dr. King was a Christian minister and his turn-the-other-cheek philosophy represented some of the best principles for creating harmony among all people, regardless of race or religion. Young people today can learn from King that nonviolent protest and participation in the democratic process are the best means of bringing about change. From Dr. King's teachings, many of us realize that nonviolence is the best approach to resolving conflict. Dr. King understood better than most people that violence only begets more violence. To honor this legacy of nonviolence today in our lives help our children avoid violence by acknowledging their anger. Help them learn constructive ways of dealing with strong emotions.Children learn methods of resolving differences from us, and how we manage conflict within our family.Celebrate Black History Month with your children this February, and spend some extra time learning about the extraordinary accomplishments of African-Americans.The 20th century saw some of the most profound changes in human history. We know from Scripture that knowledge is a gift from God. Read Proverbs 2:6,tells us that, For the Lord giveth wisdom out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.  Do you know that the knowledge of God is the most valuable knowledge a human being can possess. God’s desire is for all to know Him, appreciate Him, and have a relationship with Him; therefore, He grants to all who truly seek Him the wisdom that leads to knowledge. Increasing in the knowledge of God is part of Christian maturity and is something all believers are to experience read 2 Peter 3:18, But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and SaviourJesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever.Amen.If anyone attempts to take anything away from this unveiling of God, and thereby tries to change what has been given to us through the word (Inspiration), then that person is guilty of trying to create a god in their own image and does not therefore know God intimately. The word tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” Not some, but all ! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Stand !

The word for today is- Stand !

Let's look at the first thing we must do, read  Ephesians 6:11,Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. All believers are to put on spiritual armour against the enemies of their souls. Spiritual strength and courage are needed for our spiritual warfare and suffering. We must resolve by God's grace, not to yield to Satan. If we give way, he will come in. We must stand on the word from God. Amen ! We must preserve in particular requests, notwithstanding discouragements. We must pray, not for ourselves only, but for all saints. The evil one(Satan) is mighty, and we are without strength, but our Redeemer is almighty, and in the power of his mighty we may overcome everything that comes our way.The word tells us to what? read Ephesians 6:13,Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Also,in James 4:7,Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. A person may have a large portion in things of this life, and yet be kept in the love of God; but he who sets his heart upon the world, who will conform to it rather than lose it, is an enemy to God.The spirit of the world teaches us to lay up or lay out for ourselves, according to our own fancies; God the Holy Spirit teaches us to be willing to do good for all mankind. Whose report do you believe? Look at Adam and Eve believed the report of the serpent (devil) when he said in Genesis 3:4,  “ye shall not surely die”. There is a song that goes “who’s report do you believe"?  We are to believe the report of the Lord”; but you look around the world today, and that doesn’t look to be true.  Some people will tell you that God makes you sick to teach you something. Not true ! The truth is you did something wrong. But the Bible says in Exodus 15:26,  “for I am the Lord that healeth thee." Read Psalms 107:20 says “He sent His word, and healed them and delivered them from their destructions”. Read Joshua 21:45, There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass. His word is true, His word change not, His word is forever....  .  Read John 1:1,In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.We are called believers, so let’s look at what believers are told to do, and act on it. In Jesus’ name we will cast out devils, we shall pray and lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Jesus tells us in Mark 16:15-18 that we are to go into the world and  preach ( stand on His word) the gospel to every creature, and these signs shall follow them that believes. Thank you God for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Advice !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Advice !

Read Proverbs 24:6,For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.Almost everyone agrees that the Bible contains great advice about life, it really give us advice that we can apply to our own life in today’s world. What does the Bible say about the things you face every day at school, at home, and in your heart? Here you will find advice that comes directly from the Word Let's look at Luke 16:11, “So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?”  It appears from this verse that God uses money as a test of our management and stewardship skills before entrusting us with spiritual things.Who is giving you advice?  It is wise to have a goal in mind. Look at Proverbs 13:16, Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly. Read verse 18, Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that  regardeth reproof shall be honoured. Verse20, He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Get wise counsel always ! Read Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Learn to walk before you run. Do one thing well, before you go to the next thing. Amen ! Do you want good counsel? read Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. The also tells us in Proverbs 19:20-21, Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Always !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Always !

I have found that the key is to finding specific Bible verses and meditating on them. According to the Word, this is how faith comes. The more we soak up the truth of God’s Word, the more assured we become that He really is going to take care of us. The Lord said, I am always with  thy! Read the word from God, some bible verses about how god is always there for you and with you.

Deuteronomy 31: 6, Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them:  for the Lord  thy God,
he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee..
Hebrews 13:5,Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. .
Psalm 73:23, 24,Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Matthew 28:19, 20,Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Psalm 41:12,And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

Psalm 89:14-16,
Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

Psalm 139,
O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

The important thing to remember in the midst of the storm is that God is in control. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Delay!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Delay!

Why is your prayers delay? Is it because he sees we are not yet fit or ready? It may be he has things to put in place in us or in our church or in the world. Let's look at Ephesians 4: 1-13,(Unity in the Body of Christ) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.  We are taught by these laws, that we must be very careful to do no wrong, either directly or indirectly. This is a delay in your prayer life.  If we have done wrong, we must be very willing to make it right. Read Luke 4:18,The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. God does not usually give special blessings to those who seek them half heartedly. God requires forgiveness, else He will not forgive us. If we are unwilling or unable to forgive, then there is no use asking God for anything.  We have no merits for any blessing from God. As Paul writes in Ephesians 2:8-9, these things are given by grace, not because of anything we are or have done. For all have sinned and deserve death (Romans 3:23).The first and fundamental principle of answered prayer is faithfulness in prayer itself. Also,Praying in the will of God this means that the prayer must be in harmony with what God has revealed to be His plan in you (according to the will of God).Sometimes God does not say, "No," but "Wait." There is a proper timing for answered prayer. Sometimes God needs to wait until we are ready for the answer, or perhaps others need to be made ready. Sometimes a delay is necessary to fit into God's overall plan. Daniel learned that lesson, read the book of Daniel.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Thirst !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Thirst !

Let's read about Apostle Paul, all he had seen and experienced, late in his life.  Paul wrote of the passion that he had in Philippians 3:10 "That I may know Him." What is he talking about? Didn't he already know Jesus more closely than perhaps anyone else ever will? Of course he did. But the more he knew Jesus, the more he wanted to know Him. The more Paul progressed in spiritual strength, the more thirsty for God He became. Let's look at John 4:14,But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The spirit or the soul of man, as influenced by the Holy Spirit, must worship God, and have communion with him.Read John 7:37-38, In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. The Spirit dwelling and working in believers, is as a fountain of living, running water, out of which plentiful streams flow. Read John 3:18,He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Why would God instruct the world to seek Him ? We need to understand what  hangs in the  balance if we misunderstand these verses in revelation. They were not spoken by God to show his ability to speak poeticly but as a warning for us to understand the importance  of a relationship with him that has no restrictions. The Lord pulls no punches when it comes to serving him and him alone. It's throughout the bible and one verse that sticks out the most is  Matthews 6:33,But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Are you seeking the kingdom? Let's read Joshua 1:8,This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt  have good success.  Thank you God for your word. Amen !
